Young Tennis sensation Coco Gauff made history on Sunday by winning her first ever WTA title at the tender age of just 15 at the Linz Open, MySportDab reports.

The American, who became the youngest player to reach a WTA final since Czech Nicole Vaidisova in 2004, overcame 2017 French Open champion Jelena Ostapenko 6-3 1-6 6-2 in the final.

It has capped a remarkable rise for Gauff, who emerged onto the scene in style over the summer by beating seven-time Grand Slam winner Venus Williams en route to the last 16 of Wimbledon.

Gauff - who only entered the tournament as a Lucky Loser - started the tournament ranked 110th in the world.

However, she will now move up to 71st in the rankings when they are updated on Monday.

After taking in her historic moment, Gauff said: 'I want to thank God for always supporting me like I wouldn't be here without him.

'It's been an amazing week and I hope to come back in the future.

'I'll definitely remember this moment for the rest of my life.'

Gauff has become the youngest to win a WTA title since Jennifer Capriati in Canada 1991. watch the video..

Tyson Fury had his first taste of WWE action after taking his feud with Braun Strowman to the next level by sparking a mass brawl on Monday Night RAW, MySportDab reports.

Fury first came to blows with the American wrestler on Smackdown last week, before being escorted from the building by security.

But the Gypsy King was back on Monday, invited as a guest on Monday Night RAW, where he demanded an apology from Strowman for being disrespected.

After being introduced to the US crowd, he said: 'Last week I was here minding my own business, Braun tried to make me look like a fool. I wound up getting chucked out, so tonight I'm here to demand an apology.'

Strowman then entered the ring and hit back: 'Look man, I was messing around and trying to have a little fun with you last Friday on Smackdown. That is, until I saw the way you looked at me like you wanted a piece of this.

'I don't know if you heard, but when security was dragging your a*** out of the building I was shouting "let him go" because I promise you, the last thing you want is to get in my ring. You have no idea what I'm capable of. I will literally eat you for lunch.'

After some more verbal sparring, things turned physical as Strowman lifted Fury into the corner before security burst into the ring to break the pair up. watch the video..

Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris suffered a gruesome elbow injury as Tottenham went 1-0 down early on against Brighton, MySportDab reports.

Lloris was caught out by a long range effort as he dropped the ball at the feet of Neal Maupay for the opener.

But he fell awkwardly as he back-pedalled into his own net, with his left arm awkwardly twisting the wrong way as he landed.

The French goalkeeper visibly screamed in agony and was given oxygen on the field as he was treated for a substantial period of time and stretchered off.

Lloris, Tottenham's captain, was replaced by Paulo Gazzaniga and give a standing ovation as he was taken from the pitch.

According to BT Sport, he was screaming in agony as he was carried through the tunnel and given extra morphine to counter the pain before being taken to hospital via ambulance.

It took more than eight security guards to stop Tyson Fury entering the ring at the WWE SmackDown as he leapt from his seat in the crowd, MySportDab reports.

Fury's antics hinted at a potential future in professional wrestling for the Gypsy King, known and loved for his showmanship, elaboratering entrances and loud dress sense.

The drama began as a Braun Strowman light-heartedly squared-up to the six-foot-nine heavyweight, with the 'Gypsy King' playing along with a smile.

The mood changed when Strowman was attack from behind by Dolph Ziggler, who the 'The Monster Among Men' sent spinning into Fury.

The Mancunian - dressed in a suit with a marble design - fell back into his seat, returning to his feet furious.

With Strowman back in the ring, Fury jumped the barrier - yelling as security guards held him back.

Bayern Munich Star Serge Gnabry was given a standing ovation at the team hotel after his four goals in the 7-2 thrashing of Tottenham in the Champions League, MySportDab reports.

As showed in the celebrations at the team's hotel in London where Gnabry is given a standing ovation as he enters the room.

Here is the stunning moment Atletico Madrid showcased its defensive capabilities as seven players ran back fast enough to stop a counter attack, MySportDab reports.

Bayern Munich Star Serge Gnabry was tormented by his own teammate after scoring his third goal vs Tottenham in the Champions League, MySportDab reports.

Novak Djokovic has taken an innovative approach to training ahead of the Japan Open by stepping into the dohyo to face a sumo wrestler.

The Serbian visited Ryogoku Edo-Noren after touching down in Tokyo and looked weightless in comparison to his enormous opponent.

In an ATP Tour clip, the showboating sumo can be seen standing on the edge of the ring while Djokovic struggles to move him.

'It's a great experience. I've never had this experience before,' Djokovic said.

'It's one of the most popular sports in Japan. Speaking with my father yesterday on the phone I was telling him that I'm going to have an opportunity to meet sumo wrestlers.

'He and I were remembering many years ago at home (when) we used to watch Akebono (Taro, who reached Yokozuna status), who was someone that we supported a lot.

'I felt that I am out of shape (for sumo) a little bit. I think with a few more kilos, I'll be ready to compete.

'Probably three times as much as I have right now would be the right measurement for me to compete.'

Neymar has arrived in Barcelona ahead of appearing in Court over a contract club dispute with his former club, MySportDab reports.

The Brazilian was seen arriving at Barcelona airport on Thursday and was accompanied by his father.

MySportDab reports neymar is due to appear at the court in Barcelona's City of Justice at 9.45am on Friday morning.

The 27-year-old maintains he is owed £10.5million in loyalty bonuses from Barcelona.

Neymar received £12.5m from Barcelona before he joined PSG in a world-record £200m move back in the summer of 2017.

The PSG forward now wants to be paid the rest of the £23m loyalty bonus that was inserted into his Barcelona contract.

The La Liga champions, however, are refusing to pay Neymar and believe he was only owed the full amount if he remained at the club until 2022.

World Football Governing Body FIFA has denied claims that votes for Lionel Messi to win the Best Player Award were rigged, MySportDab reports.

Lionel Messi walked away with the best men's player accolade at the glitzy ceremony in Milan on Monday, pipping Cristiano Ronaldo and Virgil van Dijk to the award.

Given Van Dijk's remarkable season at Liverpool and Ronaldo's excellent campaign at Juventus - Messi winning the award was met with a degree of surprise.

FIFA determines the best players based on the votes of national team coaches, captains as well as a journalist from each country.

But Messi's claim to the honour has been thrown into doubt following after Egyptian football association and Nicaragua's captain Juan Barrera raised concerns over the authenticity of the ballots - citing uncounted or misallocated votes.

Egypt's association called on FIFA to explain why the votes of Coach Shawki Ghareeb and captain Ahmed Elmohamady were not taken into account.

Ghareeb and Elmohamady - who both opted for Mohamed Salah as their top choice - are not mentioned in FIFA's publication of official votes that was published after the award ceremony.

The Egyptian FA claim they officially sent their votes to FIFA on August 15, four days before the deadline.

On Thursday, the governing body provided a bizarre explanation as to why the Egyptian's votes weren't included - claiming the signatures on the voting forms were in capital letters and thus invalid.

A football fan punched a police horse during a violent clash between Southampton and Portsmouth fans on Tuesday night, MySportDab reports.

The Pompey supporter was chased by the horse before the man turns around and appears to hit the animal in the nose.

The officer on the horse then chases the fan down the street before he is surrounded by authorities.

The man was pinned to the floor and then restrained by a number ofofficers.

This came after an officer was hurled to the floor as supporters pushed and shoved each other before the game.

A sea of authorities had to huddle around the two sets of fans to guide them into Fratton Park.

Footage on social media below showed an officer falling to the floor as supporters pushed and shoved each other.

The Carabao Cup third-round fixture which Saints won 4-0 at FrattonPark, was the first meeting between the two sides since 2012.

Coins, bottles and smoke grenades were also thrown as pockets of abuse and violence broke out.
