Lionel Messi was furious at Ecuadorian referee Roddy Zambrano and his fellow match officials after Argentina were eliminated at the Copa America semi-final stage by arch rivals Brazil, MySportDab reports.

The Barcelona man was hoping to finally end his long wait for a first international trophy but Argentina lost 2-0 in Belo Horizonte despite an improved performance.

Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus tapped in from Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino’s set-up in the first half before the pair switched roles in the 71st minute to put themselves in final, where they will face either Chile or Peru at the Maracana in Rio de Janeiro.

Yet Lionel Messi was outraged at the failure to award a penalty to Argentina shortly before Firmino made it 2-0.

Sergio Aguero was felled off the ball by Dani Alves while Nicolas Otamendi was also impeded at a corner by Arthur in another off-the-ball incident.

And a fuming Messi slammed the “bulls**t” decision-making as he once again suffered heartache in the competition, having lost in both of the last two finals to Chile on penalties.

Messi declared to reporters: ”They were not better than us. They found the net early and the second goal came from a penalty [to Aguero] they didn't award.

"They [the officials] had booked a lot of bullsh*t, but they didn't even check the VAR, that's incredible.

"That happened all over the game. At the first glance of contact, they ruled in their [Brazil's] favour and this kind of bullsh*t distracted us from the game.

"There are no excuses for us, but we need to review this, analyse it and let's hope CONMEBOL does something about it.

"I think we played a great game. We made a great effort and they were not superior to us."

Argentina struck the woodwork twice, with Aguero heading onto the crossbar in the first 45 before Messi hit the post himself at 1-0.

15-year-old Cori Gauff was left in tears after a stunning first round victory over top favourite Venus Williams at Wimbledon, MySportDab reports.

Cori became the youngest woman to win a main-draw Wimbledon match since Jennifer Capriati beat defending champion Martina Navratilova in 1991

She won 6-4, 6-4 before collapsing onto the Court 1 grass clutching her face while the emotions spilt out.

Manchester United have officially announced the signing of defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace in a £50million deal, MySportDab reports.

The 21-year-old has agreed a five-year contract that will earn him up to £80,000 a week.

Wan-Bissaka is the the club's fifth-biggest signing, behind Paul Pogba, Romelu Lukaku, Angel di Maria and Fred.

Wan-Bissaka: “It’s an unbelievable feeling and an honour to call myself a #mufc player and something I know that only a small number of players have the privilege to say.”

He is the club's second summer recruit, after Daniel James joined from Swansea.

Wan-Bissaka, who has been on international duty this month at the European Under-21 Championship, joined Palace's academy when he was 11.

The defender was on £10,000 a week at Selhurst Park, the lowest-paid player in Palace's first-team squad.

A swarm of bees brought play to a temporary halt during South Africa and Sri Lanka's Cricket World Cup clash in Durham, MySportDab reports.

Both sets of players and the umpires were forced to lie on the ground as hundreds of bees invaded Chester-le-Street and made for the batsman's crease.

Spectators watched on bemused at the sight as the swarm was uninterested in the stands, instead preferring to be involved in the action.

'Not one spectator was stretched or bothered, and yet all the players were on the ground,' former England coach Paul Farbrace told BBC Test Match Special.

"There must have been some people wondering what on earth was going on. If you're new to that game you'd go home going 'not only do they stop for a drink but halfway through the game they all lay down! Stressful game, cricket!'

Wayne Rooney scored an incredible goal from inside his own half for DC United against Orlando City on Wednesday night, MySportDab reports.

Wayne Rooney was well inside his own half when he unleashed the effort past Brian Rowe.

With the game goalless after 10 minutes, two Orlando players ran into each other whilst trying to start an attack.

The ball bounced out to Rooney, who didn’t even take a touch before lobbing the ball high over the unsuspecting Orlando goalkeeper, who was well outside his box.

Barcelona star Lionel Messi's look-alike hs denied conning 23 women into sleeping with him, MySportDab reports.

Reza Parastesh, who is known as the Iranian Messi, moved to deny the allegations made in Spanish publication Marca and on social media.

In a video post on Instagram, Parastesh said: 'Hi friends, a piece of false news about me is trending on social media with regards to me sleeping with 23 women because they thought I was Lionel Messi. Please do not play with people's reputation and credibility.

'We are all aware of the fact that if it actually happened to anyone, there would be some complaints and it would lead to my prosecution. That would be a disaster and a calamity of international proportion. If this news was true, I would be in jail right now.'

'Do not believe it, it is not true. I am going to do everything to fight this legally and make sure my name is cleared.'

Parastesh, 26, was informed of the allegations earlier this week and he has been trying to clear his name since.

'The news is spreading in the Muslim countries and it has been a disaster,' he added.

"I was severely harassed because it released the whole world on me. My family also harassed me, but the people's attack was more influential.'  

Parastesh uses his likeness to Messi as a way of promoting his Instagram page, which has nearly 700,000 followers.

Former world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko and his family had to be rescued by firefighters in the middle of the night after his boat caught fire in Spain, MySportDab reports.

The 43-year-old, who lost his WBO, WBA Super and IBF titles to Tyson Fury in 2015 before retiring after a defeat to Anthony Joshua, posted a video to Twitter on Tuesday morning which showed officials dousing part of a boat in foam.

The clip also shows other emergency services officials at the scene but Klitschko, who revealed the incident happened while travelling from Ibiza to Majorca on Monday morning, said that everyone on board the chartered boat was safe.

Klitschko can be heard narrating over the video, saying:"Three o'clock in the morning. We are in the sea getting rescued from the Majorcan Spanish fire department.

"The boat was on fire. We are hanging out down outside."

The voice of a young child can be heard in the background as Klitschko narrates what happened.

Here is the shocking moment Brazilian MMA fighter Jorge Kanella had a point deducted for sticking his toe up Alfie Davis’ BUM at Bellator London, MySportDab reports.

In round three Davis was flat on his back as Kanella threw a kick directed at his bum but the 32-year-old was adjudged to have stuck his toes in his opponents perineum.

The referee deducted a point for the kick and Davis went on to win the fight by decision.

After the win, Davis found the funnier side of the foul - joking the gooch kick would otherwise be “pleasurable” fora man, had it not been in a fight.

Davis said: “It was like, the bum, right at the bottom of the balls.

“We played okay, we passed the ball well, we were ruthless in attack and we are ready to play in the quarter-final.

“But I’ve got to say that wasn’t football for me. That wasn’t a World Cup last 16 in terms of the behaviour I want to see from footballers.”

The Confederation Of African Football (CAF) has picked Nigeria striker Odion Ighalo's Goal Vs Burundi as the best of match day 2 at the tournament, MySportDab reports.

Ighalo came in as a substitute for Paul Onuachu in the 73rd minute netted the decisive strike four minutes later.

A Buddhist temple in Bangkok has had a statue of the Manchester United legend David Beckham engraved into its altar, MySportDab reports.

Beckham may have retired from playing six years ago, but the former Real Madrid winger remains immensely popular with football fans across the globe.

According to The Sun, one United fan took his admiration for Beckham to another level by including a statue of the ex-England star in the temple.

Although the statue was put in place in 1998, it has only become a tourist attraction recently.

The statue of Beckham sees him crouching down while wearing a United kit.

In addition to Beckham, the temple in Thailand also includes statues of Barack Obama, Pinocchio, Mickey Mouse and Superman.

Fans have reacted on social media after a fantastic Back pass from left back Ola Aina set up Odion Ighalo for Nigeria's opening goal at the 2019 AFCON against Burundi, MySportDab reports.

La Liga footballer Alex Bergantinos was leftrequiring70 stitches after being on the receiving end of an accidental horror tackle, MySportDab reports.

The Deportivo captain went full-blooded into a 50-50 tackle against Mallorca midfielder Marc Pedraza on Thursday asboth teams went all out in their pursuit of glory.

But it was Bergantinos who was left worse for wear as the pair horrifically collided witheach other at full speed in the 40th minute at the Ciudad Deportiva de Riazor.

Pedraza accidentally smashed Bergantinos in the face with his studs while they battled it out, with the Deportivo man left rolling around on the floor in complete agony.

Bergantinos, who had a constant stream of blood pouring from his face, was later taken off on a stretcher and sent straight to hospital, where he needed a whole 70 stitches to get treated.
