This happened 3+ years ago and I feel like sh!t even more so today than ever before.

This day started like any other. I had morning classes and only one class after lunch. My girlfriend at the time had almost the same schedule as I did. So we spent quite a long time with each other most afternoons. The only problem was that I still lived at home with my parents and even worse, so did she. This left us with very few options of spending quality time together if you know what I mean.

After our morning classes, we went out to lunch and things got a little heated in the car right before my last class of the day. She texted me during class and begged me to come over after class and of course my second head said yes. That was my first mistake, I knew that her parents were in town and that they would most likely be home. She swore to me that her dad had a car show and her mom was joining him so we had the house to ourselves. He was a very big car enthusiast and had a big garage beside the house that he would use to work on his collector cars.

Two hours later, I’m at her house and sure enough, both her parents vehicles were gone. Ten minutes after that and we are both sitting on her bed doing what most college students are doing on a bed at that point. She loves pre-intimacy and I had my hand down her shorts going to town when all of the sudden we hear the front door squeak open and then shut. The worst part is that her bedroom door is not more than 10 feet from the front door. Not even five seconds later, the bedroom door swings open and it’s her dad standing there with a garage rag in his left hand. Apparently he was in the garage giving his daily driver an oil change unbeknownst to me or my girlfriend. Till this day, I have no idea how I moved so fast but I managed to make it to her desk and sat there on her computer pretending as if we were studying. Her dad says “How are you?” While proceeding to walk straight in for a hand shake. When I tell you my fingers were wet, I mean they were "wet" wet. The only thing I could do was quickly wipe them off on the back side of my jeans before going in for the hand shake. That moment my hand touched his felt like I had been punched in the chest. Every possible scenario ran through my head. He would feel my moist fingers, smell them and strangle me right there. Turns out, he didn’t notice a thing. Not even the beads of sweat that instantly formed on my face.

TL;DR Shook hands with my girlfriends father not 10 seconds after taking my hands out of his daughters pants

I've been following the religious sections of nairaland for some time now, and I noticed dat many atheists are giggling and making jokes about God now but that is just for a moment.

People love to live in denial and they don't understand that God gave us Free Will and that's why there's evil in the world.

We know Jesus was sent to save everyone and is directly available to whomever will call on His name in time of need. The Lord sees through the denial.
