Well I have no advice for your friend since I don't know the degree of the injury he gave his housemate .

I will advise that people should learn to pay the money lent them on or before the agreed time of repayment this will save you embarrassment and save your relationship with your creditor.

But if there is any reason why you can't repay on time explain to your creditor and ask that the time be extended , you can do this amicably without creating dispute.

If you're doing machine learning or android development, my dear, you'll need a minimum of 8GB RAM and not less than a core i5 to be a little bit comfortable, but if it's just web development you can even use a 2GB RAM laptop with less than 500GB HD just make sure it's 64 bits architecture

your case is better , some time ago some candidates wrote their exams by 12 am midnight with faulty computer systems while they were writing late in the night , the center shutdown their hotspot which automatically logged out the candidates from the exams and they were asked to leave the halls that they can no longer wait for them to finish up.

Sadly, some candidates were only 30mins into the exams before this happened .
I still dont know why JAMB has to accredite some centers that do not meet the basic requirements to be accredited I believe the slots to be accredited are sold and not based on good standards.
