Sounds like a power problem, something must ve got burnt in the board, take it to an engineer or computer store for repairs there is nothing yyou can do from outside the problem is on the board.

first your psp most be h-a-c-k-e-d, secondly you must ve extracted the game which is always in ISO or CSO format. Now copy and paste the ISO or game file inside the ISO folder located in your memory card if you have any problem let me know.

I suggested wireless to free him from connecting and disconnecting cable and safe him the stress of connecting and disconnecting his dailup MTN on his PC, if he goes for wireless besides apart from him using it only for his ps3 anyone in the house can hookup there wifi gadgets e.g psp,mobile phones,iphone etc you name it but if he goes for option his just limited get the picture?
