Kudos to Arteta and his boys. It is not easy playing against men. The referee tried to help them but they thought they were at par with Man City and started playing tiki taka from the back until they got ticked away from the top of the table. What an assnal!!
A full city team against Arsenal with key players injured and you are here happy.

Remember that Arteta was under Pep. If you watch Arsenal match intently, you will know that it's strength lies on the wings. Hence, Pep in his intelligent and experience used Ake to pocket Saka and kept him out of the match. In the first half, Arsenal dominated buh Pep changed formation and made Walker played more free thereby making Arsenal to be confuse on who to mark, and it paid off. City go pipe Arsenal bro or highest draw
Look at Amature analysis , you don't need pep's intelligence to know that Arsenal's strength is at the wing. You dont need to be a coach to know that,it's a basic thing. Teams had always prepared for Saka and Martinelli for almost all Arsenal matches. Pep did not exposed anything. If you tell me Everton coach exposed Arsenal a little I can agree not City or Brentford. Ake did not Pocket Saka, Arsenal didn't take that game serious. Saka was playing with caution besides Ake cannot Pocket Saka if Odegaard is playing. Wednesday you will feel pity for Ake.

Oga City did not exposed what ?, what happened in the last 2 games was just a slight dip inform. The way City played was not the way Brentford and Everton set up and played against Arsenal. City is not a team that park the bus defending deep ,that is the kind of game that suit Arsenal. Even at that Brentford goal was an off side the referee committee had apologized to Arsenal. We accept the apology but we know that it was deliberate to take points off Arsenal. This is the third time they apologizing to Arsenal this season.

Sports / How Many Points Has Var Caused Arsenal by Naajjii: 7:44pm On Feb 12, 2023
Arsenal were held to a 1-1 draw by Brentford but Ivan Toney's equaliser should not have stood; VAR error by team led by Lee Mason at Stockley Park was not the first which has hampered the Gunners' Premier League title

There was VAR controversy for Brentford’s equaliser against Arsenal

Arsenal were denied victory against Brentford on Saturday due to a costly VAR error - and it wasn't the first time this season.

The Premier League leaders were in front thanks to Leandro Trossard's second-half goal but Ivan Toney equalised with a close-range header and a VAR check cleared it despite two instances of offsides.

The VAR team, led by Lee Mason, opted against intervening after checking whether Ethan Pinnock had blocked Gabriel from Mathias Jensen's free-kick when in an offside position.

Mason and his officials then failed to spot that Christian Norgaard was offside before making the cross for Toney, and it later emerged no lines had even been drawn to check for a possible offside.

The error, acknowledged as such by PGMOL on Sunday, left Arsenal fuming as they missed the chance to move eight points clear, and it was not the first time a controversial VAR call has contributed towards them dropping points this season. In fact, it has happened on four separate occasions.

Martinelli goal disallowed at Old Trafford

WHAT HAPPENED: With 12 minutes gone in Arsenal's Premier League meeting with Manchester United at Old Trafford in September, Martin Odegaard helps dispossess Christian Eriksen just inside the Arsenal half, allowing the Gunners to work the ball forward to Gabriel Martinelli, who clips a cool finish past David de Gea.

The right decision? Gabriel Martinelli’s goal for Arsenal at Man Utd was disallowed by VAR for an alleged foul by Martin Odegaard.

A VAR check follows, and despite replays showing Odegaard's challenge on Eriksen was soft, referee Paul Tierney is instructed to consult the pitchside monitor and decides to overturn it, with Arsenal going on to fall behind to Antony's goal, before losing 3-1.

In December, the PGMOL included the decision as one of six incorrect VAR interventions in the first part of the Premier League season, confirming the goal should have stood.

Image:Martin Odegaard was wrongly penalised for a foul on Christian Eriksen

WHAT WAS SAID: "It's a lack of consistency," Arteta told Sky Sports at the time. "What is soft? Last week, they [Aston Villa] got a goal when there's a foul on Aaron [Ramsdale], but it's soft and it's not a foul.

"Then there's a penalty on Bukayo [Saka, by Tyrone Mings] but it's soft and not a penalty. Today this is a foul.

"There were some strong tackles and no yellow cards because the threshold is low because it's a big game. It's really difficult to accept."

"In my opinion, it's never a foul," added Odegaard to Sky Sports. "The referee sees it and plays play on. It's a soft challenge and for VAR to come in it has to be clear and obvious. That's been said a lot of times.

"On the camera, you can always make it look a little bit worse, but, for me, that was never a foul so it's frustrating."

Webb: 'I'm all for transparancy'

Howard Webb to Sky Sports:

"I'm all for openness and transparency and trying to draw the curtain back on the decision-making.

"I think when people can see the rationale for a decision and understand it better, they might not agree with the outcome, but at least they're more understanding and accepting of why it happened."

Jesus denied penalty against Southampton

WHAT HAPPENED: With 14 minutes on the clock at St Mary's Stadium in October, Gabriel Jesus appears to be wrestled to the ground by Southampton defender Duje Caleta-Car as he makes a run in behind the Saints defence.

Gabriel Jesus appeared to be fouled but no penalty was given in Arsenal's draw at Southampton

Referee Robert Jones waves away Arsenal's appeals for a penalty and VAR agrees with the decision. A spot kick at that point would have given Arsenal the opportunity to go 2-0 up but they end up drawing 1-1, Stuart Armstrong cancelling out Xhaka's opener.

WHAT WAS SAID: "I don't like to talk about the referee's decisions, I just want to talk about our performance, but sometimes it can change the game," said Jesus afterwards.

Image:Gabriel Jesus was unfortunate not to be given a penalty when challenged by Duje Caleta-Car in Arsenal's 1-1 draw with Southampton

"I spoke with him straight after and he said: 'If you go down before, maybe I can give a penalty'. But I think I was fair. I tried to hold, tried to keep standing, tried to finish the action but at the end he grabbed me and it was impossible, so I go down normally."

Burn shirt-pull ignored in Newcastle draw

WHAT HAPPENED: In the second half of Newcastle's visit to the Emirates Stadium last month, Arsenal feel they should be given penalty when Gabriel Magalhaes' shirt is pulled by Dan Burn, causing the defender to go down as a set-piece comes into the box.

Gary Neville said Dan Burn's shirt-pull on Gabriel was clear and obvious

The tug clearly prevents Gabriel from reaching the ball but referee Andy Madley waves play on and VAR does not intervene.

Later in the game, which Arsenal end up drawing 0-0, the hosts feel aggrieved for a second time when Granit Xhaka's attempted cross strikes the arm of Jacob Murphy inside the box, but Madley once again waves away their appeals and VAR, Stuart Attwell, agrees.

Dermot Gallagher analyses the big moments from Arsenal's clash with Newcastle after which Mikel Arteta questioned a number of the officials' decisions.

WHAT WAS SAID: "There were two penalties," Arteta said to Sky Sports. "It's very simple. I'm talking about what I've seen. It was two scandalous penalties,"

Of the first penalty appeal, Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville said: "Arteta has a right to be annoyed at that one. Newcastle were very lucky there. I think they (Arsenal) have a right to

Mikel Arteta said Arsenal were denied two "scandalous" penalties against Newcastle

Paul Merson added: "In my opinion that's a stonewall penalty. His fist is clenched. That is a foul anywhere else on the pitch.

"They haven't got an understanding of the game at Stockley Park. That is so clear and obvious. Anywhere else and it's a free-kick. We saw players get booked for less."

Toney goal stands after botched VAR check

WHAT HAPPENED: Jensen launches a free-kick into the Arsenal box and the hosts are unable to clear their lines, with Pinnock eventually nodding the ball to Norgaard, who crosses for Toney to head home.

The goal is checked by VAR Lee Mason, who opts against intervening as Pinnock appears to block Gabriel when in an offside position.

There was VAR controversy for Brentford’s equaliser against Arsenal

VAR then fail to check a second offside, despite replays showing Norgaard is offside when Pinnock heads the ball to him, meaning

Next Arsenal match is against city and the match will be way easier for Arsenal to win than Brentford. Even the Brentford game it was the usual VAR cheat against Arsenal. Today they just issued Apologize for Arsenal for error which was deliberate. Despite the dropping of points due to var and bias referring Arsenal is still on top with games to play.

Many celebrities now, when election has come and gone will start forming online activitism and lamenting about Nigeria's poor leadership, now that a genuinely rare opportunity has arrived for the masses to send a message to the Political elite in this country, using obi's candidacy as a medium, they are now silent..

I expect that by these time next year, they will start their usual lamentations of poor government but God pass them, we would vote Obi enmasse and he would win and our political landscape will change forever for the better.
Who told you Obi is the best candidate where did you get that from? Why is it that you people keep insulting anyone that do not support Obi or don't want to support any candidate.
Any reasonable and sincere person knows that Atiku , Obi and Tinubu are the same corrupt people, nobody is better or saint including Obi. This election will be largely based on ethnicity and religion.

Atiku is a failure and even if he crookedly wins, he would be worse than Buhari and the country will likely collapse under massive treasury looting.

The moment you have a different opinion, these set of individuals begins to bring in your family history and measure your success.

Has Peter asked himself why the previous leaders failed?
You think they don't have good plans or better policy to implement?
When fella kuto tells you Nigerians are their own problems. He's not sugar quoting his words.
Everyday on TV and radio stations, they keep talking about how bad leadership is the problem of Nigeria nobody is talking about bad followership.
Let me give you a good example.

MY secondary school GSSkuje is a govt school with Ssubsidized school fees.
As at 2011 during my ss2 days, we paid 12k as school fees for boarding. We were fed at least an average size of meal 3times daily. In some situation, there's are excess of food and we go for double ration. In very rare occasion food doesn't reach everybody. It can happen atmost 5times a term.
As at then we were 44 in class (commercial class), while A class which is science had the most 55.
Learning was easier and effective.
Last year I visited the school and its been divided into 2 sessions.
Morning and evening. The science class had about 100students. Learning is now more difficulty.
Ask yourself why is it like this?

The school fees is less than 15k. More classes has been built compared to when I was there.
But now the school is a shadow of it former self.
If my father who had three boys and pays his task sent two of his three children to a Ssubsidized govt school, is it fair with mallam Adam who has 17 children and manages to send 9 to the sane govt school.

Subsidy that's meant for us all. Only 1 man sent 9 children to benefit from.

If nobody talks about our ever increasing population with this our hate attitude of improving our personal productivity we would never get anywhere.
Politicians would only try no matter how Good they are but it'll end in shabbles.

In the 90s there were less amount of Lea schools but then education was effective.
Our leaders have increased the number of schools compared to the 90s but education is very ineffective.
The leaders have fulfilled their campaign promises of building more schools but has the masses fulfilled its?
Nigeria ain't China and we don't have as much brains as China, we better cut our coat to our sizes.
What has this your bolded statement got to do with anything? Then tell your dad to have more kids and send them to the school, is it our fault that you don't many kids. You are just trying to profile northerners and Muslims. It best you look for another example to make your point.
