1. English is nt known by intuition, it must be learned or else, she wouldn't know that there's nothing like 'short nicker'...or that we shouldn't use the word 'about' with 'roaming' as in 'roaming about'. Rule one, she must get a book on English to read.
2. Speak good English to her. 'broken English will break your articulation of words. Try to speak English to her when and as required.
3. ....she doesn't need to try to be fluent. She should focus more on her use of grammar, and all other thing shall follow it.
4....encourage her to think in English, to avoid trying to translate her speech from her mothers tongue to English (i hope you understand). For example, a girl wants to say, 'mo ti jeun tan' in English. She will have trouble translating that....she may end up having numerous wrong options one of which is 'i have eaten finish!. Bt if she'd thought of her answer in English. No need for translation, a simple 'I am through with eating' will do.
