our leader are idiots and lack all it take to lead. Why not go after bandit and motivate farmers to go back to farm. Many people store food instead of keeping cash because of the constant depreciation of naira. What about the politicians that are storing dollars. I swear any day someone come to my shop to talk nonsense the person will loose his head. Which kind nonsense be this. What about Dangote Cement why can't government arrest Dangote

Politics / Re: How Can Nigeria Mass Produce Food Instead Of Importing? by nabiz(m): 8:04pm On Feb 13
cooltola:
I recently visited the Federal ministry of Agriculture page online and was not really impressed. All I saw was a bunch of men and women taking photos in their agbada and native wear. While the prices of food is becoming high, I wonder what this ministry is doing about this? How can Nigeria mass produce food ? we have fertile lands in our country and the manpower to do so, the only problem is security and stealing from workers. Food should be cheap and ready available, the only reason why food price is very high is because many food items in Nigeria are imported from other countries. Many countries see Nigeria as a bank, they do not care if $1 is ₦200000, all they care is getting their money. They will price their food items based on their currency , not naira. And there is where the problem lies.
A hungry man will not care if the food is locally made or imported as long he eats. We should support our farmers in anyway or shape.
there should be a government/farmers partnership. Government should encourage rural farmers to form a cooperative. Government should provide tractors and other farms machinery to each local government in nigeria. Why government should encourage community farmers to form a cooperative. The cooperative should provide land in hectares through community while the government should provide a farm machinery service at a low cost to the cooperative.

Government should take security very seriously.

Government should also stock stop police from collecting money from food distributors on the high way

This is the way to go.

Why store up food in warehouses outside of the market environment and create artificial scarcity so you can maximize profit at the expense of your fellow citizens?

As long as those warehouses were loaded by Street boys, they can always be located.

Remembered those days of "essential commodities" in the late 80's. Every hoarded commodity discovered was auctioned by the military to the general public at specified prices.

Hoarding of food should be designated as TREASON.
why do apc member always reason like animal. The owner of the warehouse should stake the state government to court

Good!

Economic treason is the greatest problem that Nigeria is facing.

Treasonous smuggling of commodities that ought to be sold in Nigeria.

Treasonous stockpiling of foreign currencies bought with Naira inside Nigeria.

Treasonous foreign healthcare with Nigerian funds.

Treasonous foreign education with Nigerian funds.

Block everything, so we all die here.

Only then will we come to terms that we only have Nigeria or we all perish.
you guys are very dumb and confused. The same government that is shouting export up and down. Instead why can't the government encourage more production. Athe Cement government property. Not only Cement, many nebouring countries are coming to Nigeria to buy grain because our currencies is down. Government should encourage more products like china

Politics / Re: Do You Agree With This Man On This? by nabiz(m): 7:35pm On Feb 08
An average Nigerian is selfish. As far as they are benefiting from a bad government they will not complain forgetting that nothing last forever.

And average Nigerian is selfish and will prefer to commit suicide instead of sacrificing that same life to go to aso Rock or national assembly deal with those leaders and make name for themselves for the living to benefit.

Nigerians should stop dying for nothing. Instead of committing suicide why note use that life as a sacrifice a visit house of assembly, aso rock or the judiciary. The good this is that they may not kill you. But even if they kill you you become a hero instead of committing suicide

Politics / Re: What A Betrayal From The North. by nabiz(m): 3:14pm On Feb 07
aderadio1:
I really feel disgusted when I see videos and write ups from Northern Nigeria extractions mimicking Asiwaju to ridicule him.

For good eight years we stood by Buhari despite his obvious short comings but just eight months the north have joined the other Nigerians especially the Easterners and SS people to mock Asiwaju.

Everyone can understand the eastern critism as they have no friend in the Nigerian equation and to some extent the Niger Deltans. What I can't rap my head around is the north joining them to attack the President in such manner.

I think it's too myopic for the north because without us they are doomed. They should remember that we are the thin thread holding this country together. Let them not regret their actions.
We cover for them and we should expect same from them to cement the alliance.

To be forewarned is to be forearmed.

Enough Said.
if you don't want Amadioha to kee you don't ever in your life to mention Eastern Nigeria when you are writing this your rubbish, Animal

Now I can satisfactorily conclude, all these recent kidnappings are politically motivated, the north just started fighting back, exactly what they did at a shopping complex wuse 2 Abuja, when Jonathan was president just to discredit his government.
It will only get worse from here on, every Abuja residents must heed this warning and be vigilant cos they may start bombing crowded places soon when they percieve kidnapping is not yielding their desired results.
Jagaban is not a weak president like goodluck, so he will never give in, and the fight will be long and deadly, but the masses will bear the brunt of the battle. SO I REPEAT BE SAFE OUT THERE

Politics / Re: How Drones Can Be Used To End Kidnapping On The Highway by nabiz(m): 10:13pm On Jan 16
Princewill1:
The government and security agencies in Nigeria are notoriously known to be reactive rather than proactive. It's been over 8yrs since kidnapping moved mainly from the city areas to highways and suburbs while the govt act as if they don't know this. We only wait till a big incident happens before we can react.

Kidnappers often use their victim's phones to make and receive calls during negotiation and they also receive ransom in cash so Pantami and those advocating for NIN to checkmate abductions are wasting their time.

The best way to combat this is for the security agencies to identify and list out kidnapping flashpoints recorded in the last one year in the country. Example; Abuja-Kaduna road, Enugu-Benue road, Lagos-Ibadan expressway etc and the portion or parts of the roads where the abductions took place.

Also kidnapping den where victims are kept are usually located in hinterlands and difficult terrains so it will really take a lot of resources and energy to combat this security challenge effectively. I recommend the use of drones in combating the menace. Drones can effectively be used in surveillance, intelligence gathering and in launching strikes. The camera on drones can help in identifying enemy bases and troop movement and can strike when signalled.

There is this Iranian-made drone that has been instrumental to Russia's success in Ukraine; "Shahed-136". It's cheaper (about N20million), has long-range capability and can strike target effectively. It's loitering munitions can go upto 12hrs in identifying targets.

Acquiring few dozens of this and effectively deploying it to troubled areas will end kindnapping and banditry on the highway in matter of months 'no jokes'.

Only the little money former minister Betta Edu transfer to her personal account can purchase over 30 units of this. The problem is those that has been leading us in the country over the years are clueless.
you guys are still sleeping on bicycle. You people never get sense. Do Nigerian government tells you that they really want to stop insecurity? Why will you need drone when you already know the people behind insecurity. Do you know the available information that is dropped on your table as a president daily. Insecurity is a win win game for Nigerian leaders. A willing government can stop insecurity in 6month. Two things that can stop insecurity in Nigeria is either negotiation or punish the sponsors which come with a big sacrifice. The issue is which Nigeria leader love the country so much that he will be willing to pay the sacrifices

Spoken like an idiot who has never lived under a military rule.

A military regime in Nigeria would have ALL the troubles in Nigeria RAISED to power 10. Nigerian military are more useless than Nigerian politicians.

Decades after his death, Nigeria is still recovering what Abacha looted from Nigeria.

Nigerian politicians take your money and leave you to wallow in insecurity. Nigerian military would take your money, your daughter, your wife and your life if you complain about it.

Are you blind to how Nigerian Military act like cultists?

Stop saying NONSENSE!
its you that is saying nonsense. You think one sided without evaluation. Yes the military redeem was bad, can you compare the military achievement with the democratic idiots we have in Nigeria
