Many people may not understand the significance of this topic...Back to the topic; Nigeria has experienced a steady and progressive decline of morals and ethics over the decades, which can be attributed to so many socioeconomic factors such as poverty, corruption, greed, impunity and celebration of mediocrity. And each of these factors have a profound impact on the psychology of the Nigerian. Well, to cut it short, the most important step in fixing or inculcating core values in Nigeria has to start with EDUCATION, particularly the basic education or primary education, "a gigantic house cannot stand on weak foundation". |
Well written, you've summarized it all, health professionals in Nigeria are unenterprising. And categorically because of the following; 1- The demanding nature of the job, plus poor working conditions which inevitably demoralizes an individual. 2- Lack of managerial skills, which clearly explains the inefficiency of the primary, secondary and tertiary health systems in Nigeria. 3- Improper inter disciplinary co-operation between health workers. 4- Insufficient partnering with non-health workers who could provided the much needed capital to support entrepreneurial ideas. With these listed i'll encourage the medics to work hard on effective partnerships and pushing hard on implementation of sustainable polices which would encourage investment in our health sector to the benefit of the entire populace. A healthy nation is a wealthy nation. |
But GEJ was on the way to solving that issue, he took the first bold step on 1st of January, but u guys impaled him. There is God O! |
Yea i'll surely bookmark this page....Thanks |
Mekybliss:Girlfriend please don't walking around thinking sex is the only think you can offer a man. Yea a man might want intimacy sometimes(that's not just a man only craving). Sometimes you need to show a real man would want more than some x-rated skills, before he takes you pretty serious. |
Midehi:Majority of ladies who think it is only fluids they can offer to a man, is mostly regarded shallow. |
olajide8:Thanks Ola, you've got the whole picture. I just hope they post something positive that would really affect the price so i can dump that stock. The ROI so far for the time which i have kept it isn't positive, for a stock which highly rated among investors of the 70s and 80s. With a P/E standing at 8.13, I'll watch and just hope it outperforms the forcasts. |
olajide8:Thanks Jide, but during this anticipation of a general fall just before the elections, something tells me to stick around for the resolutions of the boards on what the bonuses or dividends would be. The odds are 50:50 both ways in my opinion considering my investment profile on that stock. Either waiting or pulling out like you have suggested, i may just be screwed equally both ways. I just hope it doesn't make me use long term tactics now that i'm struggling to rake in cash with minimal losses. |
I bought okomu oil when they were offering bonuses of 1:1 reason because my late uncle always said agric companies stand the test of time and they'll never fail you cos they serve the country. I really bought at a high price almost @N100 per share and a considerable volume and it plunged after the closing dates and further down it went due to electo-economic uncertainties and now i'm stuck and can't seem to pull out, my average cost is still way above N50, though i got the bonuses, but my losses there are still humongous. Any HELP Please. |
Some people sha nekaa: |
lol, its not that easy my dear. Go around look at all the base stations and mast installation you have throughout Nigeria, what do you notice? To save you the trouble these guys are burning huge amounts of diesel. These guys would device any means to remain profitable my dear with the huge running and maintenance cost. NCC or whoever can't just force them to reduce cost when they are providing power and security for themselves. It would be easy for us to criticize but if the government doesn't put the necessary basic infrastructure for services to trive then be sure to pay for what you are getting from your nostrils. These are animals that are in abundance and are even commercially rared/breed. The number of chickens in Nigeria currently would outnumber the number of nigerians 2:1. However these wild beast are quite different they even find it difficult to reproduce even in the wild not to talk of when in captivity and their numbers are very limited world wide. I bet there are not up to 20 in all the habitable waters in Nigeria. People can spend their life savings just to see one. well I don't expect much from a country with over 60% uneducated peeps. Conservation is alien to our current mentality. adoyi81: |
It is really very sad that we Nigerians do not understand the relevance and economic importance of these rare beasts. What would u expect from a populace of over 60% illiteracy. I weep for my generation barcanista: |
Big4wig:LOL, it really is possible, however, it is unlikely that some people who attended your wedding did not take pictures of events or at least part of the event with their personal camera or with their phone camera. I think asking close guests or friends for some pictures wouldn't be a bad start. I hope that works and you find something you can use. |
farano:LOL that's why he's now ur EX...cos u took him for a weak guy I guess ![]() |

WHO IS GMB? Muhammadu Buhari (born December 17, 1942) is a Nigerian politician and a retired Major General in the Nigerian Army who was the military ruler of Nigeria from December 31, 1983 to August 27, 1985. The term Buharism is ascribed to the Buhari military government. He also ran unsuccessfully for the office of the President of Nigeria in the 2003, 2007 and 2011 elections. His ethnic background is Fulani, and his faith is Islam; he is a native of Daura in Katsina State of Nigeria. WHAT IS HE KNOWN FOR? 1.Buhari first came to widespread public attention in 1976 when he became the Minister (or "Federal Commissioner" for Petroleum and Natural Resources under then-Head of State General Olusegun Obasanjo.2.Buhari was appointed Head of State and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and Tunde Idiagbon was appointed Chief of General Staff in 1983 after a military coup. 3.His administration subsequently initiated a public campaign against indiscipline known as "War Against Indiscipline" (WAI). Aspects of this campaign included public humiliation of civil servants who arrived late for work whilst guards were armed with whips to ensure orderly queues at bus stops. 4.He also moved to silence critics of his administration, passing decrees curbing press freedoms and allowing for opponents to be detained up to three months without formal charges. He also banned strikes and lockouts by workers and founded Nigeria's first secret police force, the National Security Organization. His government sentenced popular musician and political critic Fela Kuti to ten years in prison on charges that Amnesty International denounced as fabricated and politically motivated. 5.He is credited with an economic ideology called Buharism; which states that for any country that Washington Consensus conditions do not exist clearly enough, there are alternate and superior approaches to solving the problem of its economic crisis. 6.His government is revered for its ability to keep the country afloat by making progress through sheer economic ingenuity even when it rejected IMF loan and refused to adopt IMF conditionalities to devalue the Naira. His government is praised for its gain in reducing inflation by refusing to devalue the nation's currency, the Nigerian Naira, curbing imports of needless goods, curtailing oil theft and using counter trade policy to barter seized illegally bunkered crude oil for needful goods like machineries, enabling it to export above its OPEC quota. 7.And lastly how he managed PTF Funds at this Link;http://news.biafranigeriaworld.com/archive/ngguardian/2002/nov/03/article12.html 8.Undaunted, Buhari went on to declare in a statement made pointedly in Hausa in a BBC interview that: “If what happened in 2011 should again happen in 2015, by the grace of God, the dog and the baboon would all be soaked in blood.” |

These guys are really funny. From simple arithmetics 500/144 gives 3.5, that means you have less than 5 people manning those points. How can only 3 people be at an entry point where you have cold hearted smugglers and peddlers. And remember you have to rotate them regularly. We all know that there are more points yet to be discovered. In my own opinion, the FG hasn't put boarder security as a priority or top agenda, NIS isn't ready yet to secure our land borders. |
This is good. Inspired, can I get this same model and specification from you? I'll love to know its cost and what it would take to bring it down to Abuja. Email: getconfy@gmail.com |
Nigerians are not curious enough and even if they are; they get shot down- most parents/teachers/lecturers don't like any rugrat thinking outside the box! you get 'konk' on ya head for asking too many questions...god save you if you try to have a debate with your lecturer in class!or use the computer for something else- you go pay for damages! think about it, left handed kids get beaten... apparently its not normal By Dis Guy https://www.nairaland.com/1402659/why-africa-may-never-produce |

Based on the comments above I am beginning to think otherwise. That he attended a private uni is not a crime, please if anyone out there has a solution or at least word of advise for him, kindly let him know. As for those attacking him, the op may have sounded strong but deep inside you guys don't know how frustrating it is for him, whether he is on the verge of committing suicide. Please when people come to this forum with their problems if you don't have anything positive to say to them just keep quiet. You never can tell what harm your careless "joke" may cause someone. |
