My brother it is very easy to spark up a major conflict just like the magnitude of that of the 1967 civil war, Rwanda, current Syria or Sudan if tribal sentiments are left unchecked. Do you know how many people die by embarking on peacefully protest in Nigeria?. It it is very easy for a Western country with a hidden agenda's to arm the biafran people just the same way they armed boko haram so that they can reap where they did not sow. Nigeria's economic situation at this time is not too different from what it was 1967 with the vast majority desperate for a better life, which made both sides of the divide vulnerable to the idea that either division or a war will make things better, of guarantee you that none is a worthwhile solution to the challenges that befall us as nation. The concept of referendum only works in advanced countries with a well educated populace, is Nigeria an advanced country? Answer that yourself. The people who instigated the war lived to see their own children and even grandchildren, after the lives of millions of civilians of which women and children were at the receiving end. You people are very smart but you do not learn. Stop being tools of evil men who hide behind the mask of a beautiful libration, they don't care about you, they always follow the same pattern, they coerce you into hardship while they'll enjoy the spoils of your bloodshed, come to think of it, is biafra really united? "History is the study of yesterday so we can live our life today to plan for tomorrow", sadly most of us don't go back in time, this is just my own 2 kobo, if you like you can take it and profit from it XieXie: |

I'm Igbo and just like every typical Igbo man I am an ambitious man, with a hope my kids will see plenty good days. I was not born to witness the civil war which is the epic of the Biafran struggle, but I have a firsthand witness of the subtle known story of the Asaba massacre, no other than my own father who was just fifteen years of age then and schooled in Asaba which is the border town between Edo state, River Niger and Onitsha. The stories from that man concerning the war are not pleasant to for the imagination of a sane person. Have you heard from every Igbo man. Please do not make comments and bold statements like these, it is more divisive and it helps fuel the agenda of such IPOB or whatever fanatics. XieXie: |

In fact everyone has a thing or two to learn form MMM, however, one cannot help but notice some minor flaws bugging the system. I will be sharing an opinion or advice which I am hoping would get to the super guider's who can implement this simple tool which may prove very useful in due time if implemented properly. NOTE: For this system to be in continuum guider's of all levels should PH30% of all confirmed referral bonuses before it will be unfrozen for GHing. This minor tweak to the system would not only salvage the current situation in the Nigerian MMM society but it would also prevent it's recurrence as a lot of Nigerian participants are eagerly waiting for the resumption of the scheme in January." |

How long shall this earth be soaked in blood? Why must drops flow to a river of tears. Who would you rather believe, the one who tells the unpleasant truth or the one who tells comforting lies? Why must blood flow before we act? Gory images, unthinkable human deeds, extra-magnifico wicked. A woman once said "this blood you are sharing" and rightfully all corners of the earth has had a share of the blood of the innocent. Sad stories are so common, it has become a norm. I am a Nigerian by birth, I have visited most geopolitical zones and it took me a while to admit that I have believed in a bubble all these years, it just seems we are wired to be gullible, instruments of the rich and powerful, I hope this piece travels farther than me. There is a saying that "history is the study of yesterday, to learn how to live today so we can plan for tomorrow", but we never seem to learn from it. Have we forgotten the Nigerian civil war so soon, many may never know about the massacres. Lets travel to the west and site just a few of human deeds, the Nazi genocide, nuclear bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, chemical bombs on sleeping kids, didn't they deserve a second chance? Suicide bombings are just the order of my day, what a steady and progressive decay. The damages of war, the lives lost, the hardship, the pain and the tears, many begged for their lives at the hands of their cold killers, they would have given a lot for a chance to live. And the funny thing is that those who pull the strings live till their very old ages while millions like you and I perish in millions, how can the life of just a few affect so many? What a funny world we live in. We wake up every morning doing the same thing over and over, we are smart enough to do what we are told but not smart enough to question why we do it. We work for the big corporations owned by just a few investing our blood and energy with little or no time to enjoy our hard work, until we are too old to work. We are nothing but fuel that powers the agenda of the elite who hide behind the logos of corporations and governments, their biggest asset is not oil, gold or any other precious metal it is you and I. We build their cities, run their machines and we even fight their wars, money is not their objective, it is power and money is just the tool they use to control us. They are giving us money and in return we are giving them the world. We have a precious gift and that gift is mother earth and she lives, many believe she will live forever while many see doom, can you really blame them for seeing doomsday, hell no! in-fact, we cut down our forest that cleans the air for their factories that poison us with chemicals and radiations. Over a billion people are starving despite having a lot of food to go round, you may ask yourself where does all the food go?, 70% of the food grown are used to feed animals which will be sold to you, why feed the poor and hungry when you can't profit from them?! We feed ourselves with animals and plants treated with drugs and chemicals, engineered food for mass consumption and huge profits. Cancers are the end results and when we get sick we run to scientist and doctors for a cure, the drug companies rely on our suffering to make a profit. When will we start addressing the real cause of our problems. With the extinction of thousands of species every year, time may be running out for the Homo sapiens. The death of mother earth is not very hard to imagine with so much evidence before us that we are destroying her, our home and our gift from the grand creator. However, I like to think of myself as a different breed of a common specie, and I look forward to a time when the earth will be filled with a race who practice conservation as their sole religion. The well known MMM scheme with its concepts and ideology spread like wildfire in 2016 causing a massive number of Nigerians to commit their cash in the system with a hope of a 30% return on investments and referral bonuses. Despite the current crisis rocking the scheme some participants and analyst have insisted that the MMM ideology is not only brilliant but realistic and achievable. Before we get too quick pushing the camel to the slaughter let us highlight some of the achievements of this system as pointed out by some participants; Alternative Source Of Income Since the inception of the Nigerian MMM community the system has had quite a sizable number of Nigerians from almost all works of life who had profited largely from the scheme, with some claiming to have been earning more than oil company workers and even purchasing cars and other properties from monies gotten from the scheme in 2016 alone. Although, many people argue that the scheme has left more people broke than it made more people rich. Money Shuffle It should be worthy of mention to note that the MMM effect caused quite a movement of cash as monies were moved from one account to the other. Whether this move was from more richer folks to poorer folks or from smatter/persuasive folks to slower/reluctant folks is still a matter of debate. Indirect Income For Banks The central ideology of MMM hinges on the extermination and takeover of the current world banking system which it perceives as corrupt and manipulative. However, one cannot help but notice the huge amounts of interbank transfers done in 2016, with about 3 million MMM participants in Nigeria alone and with transfer charges around Promotion Of Unity There are quite a handful people who hold a strong believe that the scheme has fostered more unity between Nigerians than the Nigerian government has. With some participants saying they provided monies and got monies from people of different ethnicities. And some members of the scheme providing support and relief material for internally displaced person and orphanage homes. While interviewing an Abuja based participant he said "I have no regrets participating in the system, life is a risk and as an IT consultant I must acknowledge the efforts these guys put in promoting their ideology and making the system work through their platform and their constant knack for improvements is admirable. In fact everyone has a thing or two to learn form MMM, however, one cannot help but notice some minor flaws bugging the system. There you have it, MMM has done more good than bad, what do you think? |
Just as usual unprofessional comparisons, i wasn't disappointed by the comments, and I believe these are from people who profess to be professionals, no wonder the health sector is in a total state of anarchy. OP, there's a saying that "if you do what you love then you'll never work one day". If money is what you seek then you'll be so disgusted by the thing you'll do or things you'll have to endure to make money. "A skilled man will always find himself before kings". In my opinion both professions are very useful in our modern health system. You get paid for your knowledge and ability to diagnose illness and also provide medicinal curative remedies or surgical as a medical practitioner, and that's a wonderful skill. While on the other hand a pharmacist is charged with the production, compounding, promotion of safe use and the proper disposal of drugs and poisons, infact, it extends to the total logistics of drugs. These professions also have very strict ethics, trust me when I say this; if you follow them you'll be very comfortable only if you are contempt. |
During my induction(oath taking), na cry my mama cry, kia I almost cried too when I saw that, I just hold myself. While my dad gave me a strong handshake choi, I come dey feel like him business partner lol. |

My dear professionals recognize and respect the role of every member of the health team, so you should never stereotype anyone in the health team. The passion for our job surpasses supersedes superiority or inferiority complexes. It is a big honour for anyone to seek you for help, so empathy for your clients is number one but if you want to be a professional of a different class you must have mutual respect for both your professional colleagues and other members of the health team. If you want to be a respected by both your professional colleagues and others don't make such statements. The oath I took has guided my practice till this very day, I wish you take yours soon and As men of honour we will surely join hands. Adaure4ever: |

What to ask about your medicines "Pharmacists are experts who are qualified to give advice on the safe use of medicines. Your pharmacist may suggest a medicines use review, which is a detailed review of all the medicines you are taking, whether prescribed or bought over-the-counter. The feedback is sent to your doctor who can then take any necessary action." These are a list of things you may want to ask your pharmacist about your medication. And they will always be willing to answer you. You may also need to write these down so as to ask your pharmacist on your next visit. • Why am I being prescribed this medicine? • Does this new prescription mean I should stop taking any other medicines that I am taking? • How will the medicine affect the condition that I have? • How and when should I take my medicine? • How long should I take my medicine for? • When will my medicine start working? • How can I tell if my medicine is working? • Are there any foods, drinks or other medicines to avoid while I am taking this medicine? • What are the potential side effects of my medicine? • What should I do if I think I have a significant side effect? • What should I do if I miss a dose of my medicine? • How do I get more of this medicine if it runs out? • Who can I ask if I want any more advice or support when taking this medicine? If you are prescribed a medicine that may affect your daily life and which you think might cause difficulties for you, you should discuss this with your doctor he may be able to prescribe a different medicine that is easier for you to take, or talk to your pharmacist on your next visit. But seriously MTN should pay the fine, they are bringing 80bn debt into the issue, let them pay up, infact I find it a bigger national embarrassment for a whole Nigeria's debt to be included in this negotiations, maybe because of the SA's president's visit they'll shed some figures, but they are not in any position to negotiate Nigeria's debt, let them pay their fine and let Nigeria take care of it's debt. It will send a very clear and sound message to every multinational operating in Nigeria. That's my own 2 kobo. mars123:, |

Medicines are used to control long-term conditions or to treat an illness. They can also prevent us from getting ill. Knowing what to discuss with your doctor when they prescribe medicines for you will help you understand more about your medicines. It can help you feel more involved in the decision about which medicine is best for you and your condition. This will help you to get the best out of your medicines. To get the best results from your medicines, it is important that you use them properly, as prescribed. You need to: [b]• Take your medicine at the right times and in the right way. • Look out for side effects that are bothering you. • See whether your medicines are making you feel better or worse. If you feel worse or feel that they are having no effect, talk your doctor or pharmacist as soon as possible. • For medicines that you have to take regularly, make sure you always have enough, especially at weekends, public holidays and when you are on holiday. • Always use medicines according to the instructions on the label on the packet, or as your health professional advised you. Read the patient information leaflet that is provided with the medicine, as it may answer some of the questions you have. • If your medicines are not used in the right way, they could do you harm. Don’t use them beyond their expiry dates, and don't use other people's prescription medicines. • If you are ever unsure about how to use a medicine or you would like to ask a question about a medicine that has been prescribed for you, or one that you have bought over the counter, you can talk to your pharmacist. That is why the communities should be actively engaged in the security its territory not to supporting militancy for handouts given by the oil barons be it government or oil companies at the detriment of the rich fertile mangrove and fishing region which oil spills and leaks have destroyed in the last 50 years, damaging the local fishing economy and water quality. Please Nigeria should stop playing politics and dirty economics with our home. gists: |
Wow very good piece, and that's a very factual criticism. Individuals keep looking for who to put the blame on, without looking inward. From all speculations if the masses don't get oriented the naira value to the dollar would even be a trivial issue. Bookiemart01: |

You are being a bit realistic but tribalistic. Stop and look at things from another perspective maybe you'll be lucky to see the real picture of things. Listen Jo, for this very reason in the near future JWs' will be targeted by the world powers or governments, many would refuse to pay their allegiance to any government on earth or any flag, and as a result JWs' would suffer horrendous oppression and persecution. guntranno:You just spoke my mind. You don't need to be in the system to see the level of moral and professional ethical decay that goes on in some of these Federal Medical Centers, gross misconduct of staffs. There has been so many loop-holes and avenues for milking funds meant for the smooth and effective running of these centers even at top management level. If you come in as a boss with stringent rules without you having the right like minded people on your management team you are finished. Reiyvinn:My brother i once asked myself all these questions. I studied the bible to a point I started to question the existence of God. Until much later in my life i came to realize so many things we were thought at sunday school were not the truth about God, when i mean God I mean JHWH(CHECK) the one whose name appears more than 7000 times in the Dead Sea manuscripts, you hardly find his name in our modern bibles(I wonder why?!). Well I hope you understood the hebrew book of Genesis and the other 5 books known as the Pentateuch(accredited to to Moses), that book tells us about man's creation and how his trouble started and also the promise JHWH...So many prophets foretold the ''End'', Ezekiel, Daniel, Isaiah, Apostle John and Jesus himself gave insights into the last days. What will happen during the Last Day's? You may wonder. Not to digress from the topic I'll give you an insight but I must tell you something very important, the truth will be made known to those who seek sincerely, the truth is a gift from God(JHWH), keep seeking with a heart of sincerity and as he promised he will show you(1chro28:9, 1pet1:10). The last days as we now know does not mean the end of mankind as depicted in movies. No No No. It is the beginning of a new world under Jesus christ where there would be no more troubles, no tears and no death, the kingdom, a restoration of the lost Adamic life (Da 2:44; 7:13-14, Isa 25:8; 33:24 as foretold by the prophets of old). All governments that we know today will be no more, they will cease to exist(Rev 11:18, Rev 21:1- . This is the Good News, that God has been passing down from one generation to another, up till our time. This has come with so much price, as a lot of people have been killed on account of this and this news has been largely infiltrated with lies. To ensure that the truth remains and is not completely destroyed till the day of the last trumpet there have been people chosen by God from each tribe of Israel and in each generation till our time to do this Job, some are dead now(they will surely be resurrected) while some will not see death as they would be transformed during the last trumpet. They are the infamous 144,000 including the apostles. They will rule over the New kingdom with Jesus Christ(Rev 14:1; 5:10, 1Cor 15:51-55, 1Tim 6:15, 2Tim 2:12). The bible goes further to tell us more about these ones that during that day they'll be with you then the next minute they are gone, to the shock of everyone who will be there to witness such an event. I will stop for now, I hope this piece give you a little insight into the future. Keeping seeking and u shall find. (WWW.JW.org) |
