Hello guys, my IW status states refused “ a consular has adjudicated etc…And I just got a mail to pick up my document . Does it mean I have to reapply or I will get a follow-up interview email? Please help.

There’s are a lot of us in this category, until you pick up we cannot tell , but from the past you are likely to go for follow up interview.
Please keep us posted , when did you submit your application.

Same here , submitted 1st status 3rd showed refused , checked again this morning updated today 7th but status is still refused.
Let’s all wait till Thursday/Friday this week

BVL is Biometric Verification Letter and it is normally sent along with the PPR (Passport Request) which signfies the final approval.

Another thing is some people applied with their spouses or whoever ,who are no longer in the country.
Now trying to renew is an issue(I know someone this just happened to)
So they might want to know why you applied with someone initially and renewing alone ,maybe that Person decided to stay back.

Please people with success stories after renewal should come forward to ease others tension.

I applied alone, I have always applied alone.

I just tracked mine and I saw refused BL bla.
So I went to check my forms to understand what could have gone wrong , I realized my last visa was B2 Medicals and that’s what I applied for this time don’t know how I did not change it back to normal b1/b2 , that’s all I have noticed though.
I used the last visa twice but did not even give birth in the US . I have given birth in the US before and renewed twice after that without an interview
I am currently not pregnant so I am just confused
I need help , however I would wait until I get my passport back, maybe they will ask me to come for follow up interview.

Don't you think that is risky. What if the person doesn't see an earlier date than the December which they have rescheduled him/her too?Although you say earlier dates are being released intermittently?

Try to call them to explain the situation. Last resort is to print the two DS160 pages and explain to the guys checking the documents at the consulate. They will resolve it for your mum

I have not been able to update my mum’s new ds160 number on my dad’s profile who is the principal applicant.
Error message is this cannot be updated applicant already has an appointment
The appointment confirmation page has been updated for my dad with the new ds160 number .
Should I just print the new ds 160 confirmation for her and she takes tomorrow.
Any idea on what I can do

Hello , have you tried to apply using the new portal, if yes did you get a code ?
I have been unable to get code to proceed with the visa application.
I also know someone that has completed the application process but unable to make payments using the new portal, once it gets to payments stage it starts to show error
