It will be interesting to hear Obasanjo's speech, he is do biased and full of lies in anything Biafra. He's book 'My Command' is unbelievably full of lies. He was even boasting of how they crossed the River (Niger) and while it was clear they were repelled three times they attempted to cross River Niger. They succeed once but were booted out by Achuzie's command. MM had no option but to give up and follow the long Nsukka long route to Onitsha. |

I think they will be speaking in a conference organized to mark the 50th anniversary of the declaration of Republic of Nigeria. If Nigeria is a meaningful country, about 3.5 million citizens that lost their lives should be remembered. Reversed is the case, uncultured military men are released to harass, torture and murder people remembering the demise of their loved. I supporters Biafra Restoration whole heartedly, at least I my offsprings get to live in a country that have regards for human lives. |

A former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo and seven other leaders will on Thursday speak at a conference on the ‘Memory and Nation Building – Biafra: 50 Years After.’ At the one-day conference, which would hold at the Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja by 9a.m., Osinbajo is expected to deliver a keynote address. A statement by the Foundation listed other speakers as a former Permanent Secretary, Ministries of Information, Education and Industry, Alhaji Ahmed Joda, President General Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief John Nnia Nwodo, and Professor John Stremlau of the University of Witwatersrand will serve as lead speakers. Hon. Chudi Offodile and Nkoyo Toyo will chair panel discussions and Professor Pat Utomi will serve as the conference moderator. You should not be asking why, you should be asking WHY NOT! We have endured the attacks by the heartless animals and cannot take it any longer. We are tired of losing our people whose 'crimes' are working very hard in their farms to fend for their families and loved ones. noble71:Dude, I don't know where you have been but you must understand that water is never an issue in Onitsha. Digging bole hole is neither a big deal no costly, with less than 200k you get a drinking water anywhere in Onitsha and environs plus the fact that most modern buildings in Onitsha have central bole hole and tanks that supply water to all the flats.
