Wait....did i just read a comparism between injoo2 and iPhone 6?. Please injoo is no mate to Apple. I bet iPhone 6 1gb ram with 1.4ghz will perform better than injoo's 2gb ram. Also the megapixels are nothing but sizes.

You can talk about the camera, but the ram? Don't go there abeg. If you've watched iPhone 6 reviews regarding the ram, the phone hangs on multitasking with some apps
Webmasters / Blogger Or Wordpress :choosing the right blogging platform by Naijakick: 8:26am On Dec 26, 2015
When I first started blogging I was clueless , In fact I
had no idea other blogging platforms existed apart
from blogger. I started with blogger because a friend
asked me to and how I could make fast money by
blogging.

Anyway I signed up with blogger, picked a theme and
started posting. Later as I began to delve in web
development, I wanted more than just a simple blog. I
wanted a beautiful and elegant blog I could customize,
a feature which blogger doesn’t provide with ease. I
ended up dumping my blogger hosted blog for wordpress
.

Choosing the right blogging platform is a very crucial
stage of blogging. By choosing the right platform, you
don’t get to open several blogs and then leave them
dormant probably loosing readers in the process.
Launch your awesomeness with and amazing blog and
don’t make my mistake. Blogger or WordPress
:Choosing The Right Blogging Platform.
There are actually several blogging platforms like
tumblr, joomla, square space, drupal among others.

I’ve decided to talk on blogger and wordpress because
they are the most popular and used blogging
platforms.

BLOGGER:

Blogger is an amazing platform for blogging, many
successful blogs are hosted on blogger. Lots of
successful blogs are hosted on blogger, so because I
dumped blogger doesn’t mean it’s wack, It isn’t.
If you’re not much of a tech person and all you want
to do is write posts people to see without any hassle,
then blogger is the platform for you. All you need is a
gmail account and you’re ready to go. Just sign up on
blogger.com, pick a domain name, a theme and you can
start posting. Yes it’s that easy.
If you want your blog to be unique, blogger isn’t for
you. It has few theme layout options, the wahala
(trouble) you have to go through to put your posts into
categories as every one of your post stays on the
front page. Mess with the code in the customization
settings and your blog goes in chaos. So don’t go there
if you want to use blogger.
With all these said though, Blogger still remains still
wins the award of simplicity and the best free hosted
blogging platform. You don’t have to pay a dime for
their services. Unless you want to change your domain
name from a free domain account to a paid domain
name.

WORDPRESS :
This is one platform I’ve come to love over time, not
just because of the flexibility in its design features
but also because of its ability to fit several purposes.
WordPress provides to options for blogging. You could
either create a free hosted account on
with limited features or create a self-hosted account
with wordpress.org.
Setting up a free wordpress account is as easy as opening a gmail account.
a self-hosted account on the other hand is a little more
complicated and you have to spend some money. You’ll
need to purchase a domain name and a host. Check a
detailed tutorial on setting a self-hosted wordpress
account on wpbeginner .
Hopefully by now you would have made decision of which
blogging platform you prefer.

Business / 4 Reasons Your Business Needs An Online Presence by Naijakick: 11:09am On Dec 17, 2015
In today’s technology savvy world, being absent or anonymous online is inexcusable. This is because there are unlimited advantages of having a grounded online presence like a website, social media accounts and other online marketing. So today we share four reasons why companies or businesses require an online presence.
Business Opportunity
As businesses continually search for opportunities, the internet is flooded with people from different parts of the world looking for individuals and companies to work it and google is a viable tool that many people searching for businesses utilize. If you are absent online, your business name will not appear in the search and it is a huge goldmine you are missing.
Know Your Customer
In the past, there was little or no conversation between businesses and their customers. With twitter having 302 million active users and 1.44 billion on Facebook , the possibilities of social media abound. Social media can help you segment your audience and tailor your services to satisfy the needs of the audience.
Measurability
Measuring the success of a social media campaign has been made very easy. This can be done through feedback, increase in sales and business opportunities as well as change of attitude towards the transmitted message. Being online is therefore compulsory for any businesses to succeed.
Brand Building
Building a brand especially for an emerging product is quite difficult due to the high cost involved. As an alternative strategy, great online presence can be of benefit. You can make the product the number 1 trending topic coupled with giveaways on twitter. Gradually, you begin to build your brand thus achieving brand loyalty within your limited budget.

Phones / MTN Introduces 3gb For 300 Naira by Naijakick: 1:15am On Dec 13, 2015
Today we are taking a look at the two new data plans introduced by both mtn and glo. I have to say the plans are awesome. Let’s start with MTN
MTN after doing us strong thing by giving simple server a hard tone to connect at least they compensated us with a plan that makes sense at least. MTN has now released a new weekend plan. Just dial *131*1*5# to get 3GB for just #300 or dial *131# then press 1 (my data plans) and now press 5 (night plan), then press 2 to activate the weekend plan.
GLO
Looks like is attracting their customers back with tantalizing plans since they had really poor network a while ago. Here’s The new plan from glo. Get 1.5 GB Data for Just N1000. Valid for 30 Days To subscribe dial*777# . If you have any difficulty while subscribing, you can dial *777#, enter 1, after that choose 1 again, then press 2, and lastly, choose 1.

Phones / Innjoo To Release Two New Devices by Naijakick: 8:16am On Sep 03, 2015
Dubai based mobile manufacturer, InnJoo is set to unveil two new devices into the market at an event themed Power in Nigeria in the University of Lagos (UNILAG) main Auditorium.

The theme of this event is premised on the fact that Nigeria is a country full of power with energetic people and inspiring new generation. InnJoo’s proposition with these new devices is to save Nigerians the headache of frequently charging their phones due to the erratic power situation in the country. This would really be a cool improvement on their last beast, the “Innjoo One”. I use the Innjoo one and in performance “Just Amazing”. The battery, Not so good.

Innjoo claims that these two smartphone models, the InnJoo Halo and Fire Plus will both come with monster batteries that can last for at least two days. Sounds amazing right? but other smartphone companies like infinix have this feature in some of their devices to, So that can’t definitely be the only amazing thing about it. So one of the devices will with a 3,000mAh battery and an improved design over previous models. These devices are expected to run on the Android Lollipop OS.

The company have been undertaking series of activation programs such as dance competitions, flash mobs in UNILAG to usher in the new devices and these will culminate into the official launch on the 2nd of September 2015 by 3pm where the ‘’Sade’’ and “Orente” star, Adekunle Gold will thrill the audience with his performance.

Phones / MTN Partners With Google, Infinix & Jumia To Roll Out Android One In Nigeria by Naijakick: 12:20pm On Aug 23, 2015
The Infinix Hot 2, manufactured by the Chinese OEM, Infinix, is the first phone in Google’s Android One line in Africa.

The phone was announced earlier in the week in Nigeria and will be launched in five other African countries – Egypt, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya and Morocco. At the launch event in Lagos, Google announced a special data package for Android One devices, powered by MTN, that will give 1GB data for N500 ($2) in Nigeria.

The Android One program is the series of extremely low-budget smartphones managed by Google for developing countries and what better county to start from than Nigeria. The design, development and support of the devices are managed by Google and the phones run the stock Android operating system.

At the launch event in Lagos, there were also loads to loads to eat and drink and Korede Bello of the Mavins was also on hand to thrill guests.

It;s really exciting for android one to be rolled out in Nigeria as Mtn Partners Google, Infinix and jumia. You can be part of this exciting innovation from the stables of MTN and Google by joining the conversation on #MTNGOOGLEANDROIDONE.

Ever had a memory card that was corrupted due to virus or improper ejection of the hard drive or memory card. Here’s how you can recover a corrupted memory card /hard drive :

-first insert the memory card or hard drive through the USB port and remove
All other drives if connected.
-now check the letter name of your memory card or hard drive it could be letter G, F or any other letter.
-now click start and search for command prompt

image1

-now type diskpart in command prompt and pop up might appear asking for permission, click on ok.

image2

-now type listdisk and you will see all the external drive listed there

image3

-you will see your external drive number note down the disk number.
-now type select disk disks number (for example select disk 4)and press enter.
-now type clean and press enter.
–now type create partition primary and then press enter.
-now type active and then press enter.
-now enter the command select partition 1.
–now type format fs=fatal and press enter.
That’s all it will take some time and then your drive will be formatted successfully and ready to use.

Dear friend, Economics is entrepreneurship itself! Not that I disagree with you but it is good you know that Economics is a diverse course that pays far more than Accounting. Accountants are book keepers and I strongly believe that they lack the basic instincts to be self established. Business Admin and Economics are what makes Management as a faculty. And also note that an Economics can work anywhere in the world because they act as brain box of Aggregate Economic and management ideas as a whole.

Career / How To Manage Your Money Effectively by Naijakick: 7:57am On Jul 31, 2015
If you want to be really successful in life then saving money or managing your resources must be one of your qualities. Money is a scarce commodity and you must have heard this popular saying “Money doesn’t grow on trees”. Well if you haven’t heard it, you are probably a 5 year old that can read. There’s no denying, Money is really hard to save. Especially with the introduction of online purchase now, you can sit within the comfort of your home and have goods brought to you with just a click of a button. We both know money is easier spent than made, so i’ll be listing steps on how to manage your money effectively.

#1:BUDGET
This is the probably the first and most practical way of monitoring and managing your money. Having a good budget helps you have a constant knowledge of how much you have, where your money goes and it can help you reach your financial goals. It also helps you know the difference between NEEDS and WANTS. Am probably starting to sound like an economist but there really is a difference. Just because you feel you need something doesn’t mean you actually do. For instance if you have the urge to buy a new shoe, you should ask yourself, am i buying this shoe because i really need it? or is it because that’s what’s in vogue? if i don’t have the shoe, do i still have other things to wear and will still serve the same purpose? Reviewing yourself when making a budget will help you make the right decisions.

#2
BE DECISIVE
There’s no point in making a budget if you’re not going to stick to it, Let your YES be YES and your NO be NO. Don’t confuse being decisive with being stingy. Some people call me stingy because when they ask me to get something for them and i say NO, they say am stingy. No it’s called being decisive. If my budget for miscellaneous cannot cover what you’re asking for, you don’t espect me to say Yes and then be at a detriment do you? So be decisive

#3
PLAN

Last and not the least you need to plan on how to use your money . This is where you apply the budget you already laid down. For example you might decide to buy a car, Don’t say Yes! i have the ability to buy it, Consider the maintenance. How much does it cost to fuel a car? how much does it cost to have service it monthly or if you decide to get a large apartment, ask yourself. How much would it cost me to put furniture in the house, what if things get spoilt, can i replace them without problems?. These are really reasonable questions to ask one’s self when making plans because they will have you make future considerations when spending.

If you can apply what you just the content of this article, you would definitely manage your money effectively.

Politics / Ooni| Chiefs meet governor Aregbesola by Naijakick: 4:20am On Jul 31, 2015
Still on the saga about the death of Oba Okunade Sijuwade the Ooni of ife, Ife Chiefs Meet Governor Aregbesola behind closed doors.

The Royal Traditional Council of Ife first told the governor in the presence of some journalists that the Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuwade, was alive, contrary to the news in the media.

The detail of the brief meeting held behind closed-doors was not made available to journalists. The chiefs, led by the Lowa of Ife, Oba Joseph Ijaodola, had earlier said it was regrettable that the Ooni was always a target of negative publicity in the media.

Some prominent indigenes of Ife, who were members of the ruling All Progressives Congress, were present at the meeting. They included Senator Babajide Omoworare; the immediate past Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Mr. Sikiru Ayedun; a former member of Osun State House of Assembly, Mr. Adetilewa Sijuade, and a former Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth and Sports, Mr. Biyi Odunlade.

The Lowa said, “We were all shocked when we heard the rumour of baba’s death. If at all such an incident had occurred, the Royal Traditional Council of Ife would be the first to know and equally break the news to the entire public.

“Sixteen of us are his chiefs and when he was travelling out, he didn’t look like he was going to die and should such a thing have happened to him, we would have been informed even before anyone would hear about it. We pray that Ooni Sijuade will live long in good health.”

Aregbesola thanked the chiefs for holding forth the monarch’s domain while he was away and he prayed God to give the monarch long life in good health.

Meanwhile, the palace of the Ooni looked deserted on Thursday when our correspondent visited the place.

There was no crowd. The hordes of okada riders, who had gathered at the entrance of the palace on Wednesday when newspapers broke the news of the Ooni’s death, were clearly absent.

While visitors to the palace including journalists were not allowed to go beyond the first court which houses the Press Centre, the Emese’s court and the police station, some chiefs who visited the palace were seen going inside the inner part of the palace.

A palace source, who spoke to our correspondent, said the rebuttal of the news of the Ooni’s death by the RTC was in order.

The source said although the monarch had passed away, the procedure for breaking such big news must be followed.

He said, “The Traditional Council did a good job. They tried as much as they can to ensure that things are done the way they should be done.

“Although they may not be able to do all those things the same way they were done about 100 years ago, there must be a semblance of it. He was not just an ordinary person, so the announcement of his death must follow the due process.

“The news quickly filtered out because it happened outside the country. Nobody would have known except some very few persons if he had died right inside the palace.

“You know that the same thing happened to one of the foremost Obas in the country (name withheld); it is almost two months now and they have not announced it officially. But the Ooni passed away outside the country; so it is difficult to manage the situation but the chiefs did what was expected of them.”

Asked when the corpse of the departed monarch was expected to be brought back into the country, the source declined comment.
