The Bike man has been taken to the hospital after colliding with Campus Shuttle in Federal Polytechnic Ede


The reason of the crash was a result of the bike man who got distracted while on high speed as he was looking somewhere else.

The passengers were able to get down from the bus as soon as it crashed.

The Vice Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Obi, has promised to resign if he is unable to add value in government under an Atiku Abubakar presidency.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nigeria’s main opposition party and other Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) have accused President Muhammadu Buhari of being the mastermind behind an alleged plot to remove the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen.

PDP, Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), and Coalition in Defence of Nigerian Democracy and Constitution (CDNDC), made the accusation in different statements on Saturday.

There is an on going attempt by somepoliticians to buy up Permanent Voter Cards or inducing voters with money to collect their Voter Identification Numbers, the Independent National Electoral Commission has cried out.


The chairman of INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, raised the alarm on Monday during its quarterly consultative meeting with political parties in Abuja, where he presented the 2019 voter register and electoral guidelines to the parties.

He said, “A new method of vote-buying is being devised. We have received credible information that some partisan actors are now going round buying up PVCs from voters or financially inducing them to collect the VINs on their PVCs.

President Muhammadu Buhari has reiterated his commitment to eliminate corruption in campaign financing in the country.
The President also pledged that he will not authorise the use of any money from the treasury for his re-election campaign.

Buhari said this on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, in Abuja after the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.

According to a statement issued to newsmen by presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu, he also directed cabinet ministers to take advantage of technology to reach out to voters on the need to return the All Progressives Congress (APC) led administration in next month’s general elections.

In the city of Abuja, a Federal High Court has fixed the 21st of January as the date to hear a suit which seeks to disqualify the president Muhammadu Buhari from being a contestant at the 2019 general elections.


The plaintiffs, Mr Kalu Agu, Labaran Ismail and Hassy El-Kuris, allege that the president lied in his form CF 001 submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) regarding his educational qualifications and certificates.

NAN reported that when the matter came up for mention on Wednesday, U.C. Ndubisi, counsel to the plaintiffs, who was holding brief for Mr Okpai Ukiro, informed the court that the matter was for mention.
