No No No! That doesn't make it wrong. Different countries use different methods of calculations,just like measurements.but they are all correct.

In this case, America uses PEMDAS where "P" stands for "Parenthesis" and "E" stands for "Exponents/Exponentials",

Britain and Australia use BODMAS and BIDMAS where "O" stands for "Order" and "I" stands for "Indices"

Canada and NewZealand use BEDMAS where 'E' stands for "Exponents/Exponentials"

some even use PIDMAS or PEDMAS where 'P' stands for 'Parenthesis' ,'I' for 'Indices' & 'E for exponents/exponentials'

Nigeria uses BODMAS where 'O' stands for 'of' which is still correct.

Because Indices,Exponents,of and order all relate to "powers and square roots" which is the message they are all trying to pass across in different Languages!


so you see, the cummutative hierarchy within Mathematics (especially in order of operations) is expressive in dimensions explicit to geographical locations and colonization.

Very true, more reason why i keep my bad behavior within my community and not exposing it out to public. When will Nigerians learn. Even the person running this site does not have the best interests of the country at all. Hmmm... I can't blame the person that form the story. To be honest 80% of what's there it truth, but condemning all the citizens is bad. The person that wrote he was scammed twice the amount of dstv Explorer after going to confirm from the real store is a fool for bringing up that statement. Every where you go, courtesy demand for you to do research before buying any goods at all. He knows the real store then why did he buy it from the small shop at the nearest. Be Wise in dealings, don't be too quick to buy cheap things or not to cheap because you have the money. Correction, Nigerians is only label has most corrupt country because of our useless leaders that tend to spoil the country name due to their selfish interests. Every newspaper is talking about how Mr A stole 50b naira and stash it his/her wardrobe so on. Imagine that going around newspapers all over the world . why won't they tag us with bad names. Indians, Americans, Russia etc won't be tag as such because of their leadership role in their country and the world at large even though these countries are top of most corrupt. To be sincere every individual should change his/her behavior for good in this country. God bless Nigeria, God bless her citizens. Amen.

i just hope many will see reasons in this thread and think positively and stop fighting over religion. Religion has nothing to do with Nigeria been successful. Calm down, I have many good friends who are devoted muslims though i am not and i never blamed Islam cuz i have a very good experience when it comes to issues like this but at the same time, Islam have allot to do with it because religion is the fuel that drives those lunatics thinking they are doing the work of god.
The question you should be asking is why they accepted the fake fuel and allowed it to spoil their engine.
The filling station is the mosque, the fuel is Islam, the people selling the fuel are the imams and religious leaders, the cars/drivers are the extremists, as a driver you can not stop filling stations from selling adulterated fuels but upon realising the fake fuel will damage your engine you have a choice to either buy it or decline to look for a better fuel.
