Lionessza6: Mr Man South Africa is an English speaking country as Cameroon is , you understand my point ?. South Africa gained independence from Britain way before countries like Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda etc. The main language then became Afrikaans and the indigenous languages, unlike the countries I mentioned that have had English as their official language for generations. So it is disgraceful for a country whose main language is English to have so many people who are still struggling with pronouncing basic words . South Africans until today mainly use English when talking to outsiders . Our public institutions as you know ,have everything written in our various languages. I'm not saying we don't speak nor write English but it doesn't carry the same status it does in your country.
Did you just give us advice on tourism ? . Dude , stop that nonsense . Mandela is one of the attractions to South Africa as English is one of our official languages. Having tourist attractions means nothing when no one knows nor gives a damn about them, take your own advice and get creative on how you can best sell them to compete with ours. School him until he runs along. |

forgiveness: Do you mean Babatunde Olatunji, Sikiru Adepoju, Lekan Babalola etc are British citizens? Girl stop lying here.
Seal's father is a Nigerian Brazilian. Infact, It was his father that taught him how to eat Nigerian food. Don't display your ignorance here by depending on Google.
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.lindaikejisblog.com/2015/11/seal-talks-about-growing-up-eating.html&ved=2ahUKEwjM7OflnKHfAhXO34UKHR4aDJsQFjAAegQIBBAB&usg=AOvVaw3Tj_8qHA6Oi94bXcOKMqgY
You sounded like one hypocrite in the first bolded.
Miriam Mkeba was nobody until she left the shores of South Africa and met one Harry Belafonte (product of foreign system) who mentored her and also became her colleague. The same way Sade Adu and Seal were nobody until they met Oyinbo.
Her first record was produced by the same foreign system in America, hypocrite!
Her Grammy award was Harry Belafonte's (foreign system) handy work and not of or from the land of Zulus. stop lying.
The same way Ladysmith Black Mambazo gained international recognition, or permit me to say, were brought to lime light in 1986 by Paul Simon (foreign system) after he brushed them up despite the fact that they have been singing since 1950s as local champions. Bhuhahahaha!
They could not export their local Zulu music abroad until oyinbo came on board and took them of the Zululand to the same Britain and America where they recorded their hit song Shaka Zulu. Another lie bursted.
Is that not another product of foreign system you claimed Nigerians used before winning Grammy awards? Hypocrite!
Hugh Ramapolo Masekela who was first nominated in 1968 for Grammy award was another benefactor of foreign system song 'Grassing in the grass.' written by Philemon Hou. Bhuhahahaha!
Now, who claiming what is not hers?
Did I hear you say Miriam Mkeba was the first African to commercialize music? Bhuhahahaha! You are showing gross ignorance.
Ok, Can you please explain or tell me the year she commercialized music?
Let me give you that benefits of doubt. Explain!
You mean Nigeria started getting recognised with an award in 1990? Bhuhahahaha!
Where was Miriam Mkeba when I.K Dairo won Member of the British Empire in 1963 to become the first African musican to be honoured with such award? This is 'owing to his originality and the improvement he gave to the Juju Music - an improvement, an innovation, which can hardly be forestalled by any living artiste'. This is an honour higher than the Grammy award.
As you can see, Ik Dairo was honoured and recognised before all those newbies in the Africa music industry.
Besides, Sunny Ade was the first African musician to be nominated for Grammy award twice. Just come out of your Zulu world and learn fast.
Femi kuti has been nominated 4 times for Grammy award ahead of the names in the bolded. Then, who are those funny funny names in the bolded?
These two didn't need foreign system to get their first recognition. Unlike your foreign system products you listed.
Now, Show me your nominees from 60s to 80s, aside the ones I already pointed out. Can you?
Let me wait while you cure and emancipate yourself from groose ignorance.
Your media has feed you with fallacies and it was through that you wanted to impose your songs on us through DSTV.
I am waiting. Everybody knows Miriam Makeba is the queen of music in Africa. Your Fela Kuti wouldn't even match Yvonne Chaka Chaka, leave alone Makeba. Who knows Fela Kuti outside Nigeria anyway? |

Runalong333: Are you saying South Africa is not an English speaking country ? . Last time I checked it was only Zulus and boers who can't speak proper English in South Africa. Stop misrepresenting the truth .
Nigeria has many great tourist attractions , you are clearly clueless about the subject . Make Google your friend . Maybe you guys should stop misusing the name of a dead man to market your country , get creative and find something new to sell. You're getting whipped. Go home. |

tlann: he is a fool don't mind him his brain has been eroded by magufuli kq has 40 planes some are leased and some were paid in cash if you outline the number of planes kq bought in cash they beat air tz 4 planes Actually currently none of the KQ planes are leased. We had a Boeing 747 cargo leased from KLM/Air France, it was retired. All of our planes currently are bought. |

Lionessza6: You also protested when MTV was playing 70% South African songs in Nigeria. We also did the same with Americans , they could afford to pay a lot more than our struggling artists for the publicity and airplay at our stations. After the public broadcasters made it compulsory for majority of the content to be ours, our music industry picked up again and more of our own people are appreciated and supported more. It's not a bad thing to complain against unfair competition. Just saying. Ooh.....so they also cry? I thought they're the master dominant species. |

By the way,how many fleets does air Tanzania have?4 only While KQ has 40 fleets, stop doing some injustices to KQ. Air Tanzania will take decades to reach where KQ is today,a bitter fact. ...and South African Airline |

In their quest to kill KQ, they end up killing their own airlines. |

Lionessza6: You are an idiot of note . What do you think tourism is about if not ; the people , nature, history , art of the country ? . You keep on exposing your own illiteracy here. Mandela is the most famous person to ever come out of Africa, you think we wouldn't milk his name for the betterment of our country? You must be high . It's not our problem that your country has not been able to come up with a proper scam that doesn't hurt anyone . We made it a custom for any famous celebrity including politicians to come and touch Mandelas hand for a fee whenever they are experiencing problems; at home , work or about to lose elections or fame . Now that he is dead, we have created a platform for them to come and sing for his corpse , while willingly luring their fans here to come and touch his statue .
Why would we be known for our "English " when English is not even a dominant language in our country ? . We have 11 official languages and English is the 4th popular. You are an English speaking country yet most of you guys sound like mine- workers when you use the language , you should have developed your Hausa , Igbo and Yoruba . Our English is good enough to invite the world to our country in numbers , and we didn't even kill our own languages to promote it unlike you .
If you never got the chance to bring your money here to kiss the hand of god , we can arrange for you to visit his prison cell or kiss his statue for half a million rands , I promise you that everything in your life will go well . No need to work, just give us your money and you will succeed in life . They should use their Miss World to get tourists too, didn't one of them say she's equal to Mandela? |

The most advanced nations in the continent but if you ask a Nigerian,Kenya won't miss in the list of African nations they would wish to visit. Very true. Even in West Africa, I think many Kenyans would choose Ghana over Nigeria. |
