***** Hausas arabic influences came from the Hausas themselves. For instance when you see the ancient city of Kano, you can see that the style of house buildings were somehow modelled after Arabian city settings, just that it was still far below Arab standards.

~~~ This is because the Hausas themselves travelled far and wide across the middle east/North Africa and copied these things for themselves. Native hausas learnt from the Berbers/Arabs when they travelled out to Arabian/Berber lands.
This is very very very different from East Africans who had their Arabic influences from native Arabs coming to their door steps to intermix with them.
