Oxtonguy:I know this argument is going to take too long arguing with uninformed people but just to give you a hint on who runs the Multinationals show in Africa, please view this thread on Skyscrapercity,....... http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=1559138 |
forgiveness:Can you read English? Did I mention in my post that the population of Kenya is 60M? You are very stupid - I was referring to the UK when you claimed a UK boxer is Nigerian stupid. Like I told you, stop embarrassing yourself - you're dumb and uninformed. It's painful arguing with you. |
forgiveness:Dude - stop your stupidity already. Laughing sheepishly won't hide your naivety and lack of info. We are talking of Nigeria's dominance in sports, the guy you're quoting wins medals for the UK not Nigeria. You could bring a video of his mother giving birth to him in Nigeria and screaming in Igbo but that won't make him Nigerian. We are not talking of his roots, we are talking about who he represents in competition. Kenya has several of them FYI - you saw the girl that won the gold medal in 3000m steeplechase in Rio? Yes, her name is Ruth Jebet - she was born in Kenya, pure Kenyan blood, lives in Kenya and even after the Olympics she came directly to Kenya - Eldoret City and you know what? She runs for Bahrain. Her gold medal went to Bahrain and you won't see us posting her photo here to show Kenya's dominance because we have hundreds of other internationally renowned athletes we can post. Now that's real dominance. FYI there are so many former Kenyan sportspersons playing for the US, Canada, UK and gulf states (likes of Bernard Lagat, Chris Froome etc, you can google them) but we don't bother including them among Kenyan sportspersons since they don't win medals for Kenyans. I don't know what your rant over South Korea is - you exposed your stupidity already and I called you out on it. Googling about SKs and Kenya's population and reposting them here won't erase that. I already know the populations of the two countries that's why I called you on your idiocy when you claimed Kenya is more populous - stop posting me things I already know (I went to the University of Nairobi and I'm very informed). Just Google that stuff quietly for your own sake so that you won't embarrass yourself anymore next time buddy. |
forgiveness:India, China and Brazil don't go around claiming foreign sportsmen as their own. South Korea is more populated than Kenya. Don't manifest your low quality of education here - no wonder your universities rank dismally. |
forgiveness:That a country of 180M people can be so hell-bent on claiming a sportsman from a country of only 60M people yet still claim to be a sporting powerhouse is the highest level of absurdity. |
Muafrika2:The guy is an obnoxious deluded idiot. You won't get anywhere trying to explain anything to him. Just ignore him. |
Oxtonguy:Keep shifting goal posts. Mindset of a loser. |
ArchieTaylor:lol...... women can never maintain a regular contribution to a forum that doesn't involve fashion, clothes, cooking and relationships - yet they get mad when they're told they belong to the kitchen. |
Oxtonguy:I see you've now moved to another website after being cornered. Lol........you're the most pathetic person I've ever met. |
forgiveness:You haven't answered my question. |
Oxtonguy:.....and you're stupid and unknowledgeable. See how your argument goes... You: UI ranks ahead of UoN. Me: No, I can prove (I give you a link of Webometrics and Times Higher Education ranking that places UoN ahead of UI) You: Your link is not credible, see my link. (You provide a link of a Nigerian blog linking to a ranking website) Me: (referring to the blog) But your link places UoN at no. 4 and UI at no. 8 in Africa) You: Lol - UoN does not feature in the rankings. It is not in the top 800 universities in the world. Me: (I take a screenshot of UoN from the rankings and post it) You: Ooh I hadn't seen it but you see UI ranks ahead of UoN in the rankings. Me: (Knowing the rankings don't specify the position of universities beyond number 200) Will you show me a screenshot of UI ahead of UoN to prove your assertions please? You: (Because you're stupid you assume because Ibadan comes before UoN it is actually ahead of UoN because you don't understand the listing was alphabetical) See UI comes before UoN and after University of Ghana so it's ahead. Me: (I was actually laughing while typing) Dude the listing is alphabetical, not meritocratic. You: Utilize the link fool! Utilize the link! Me: (after several long posts trying to explain to your and your equally retarded friends) Dude the rankings is alphabetical. That's why UI is even ahead of University of Iceland on the list but not in the ranking. You: See! You contradict yourself! First you said UoN was ahead now you realize your foolishness and change that its alphabetical. See? I hope you now understand how hard and painful it is for a smart person like me to argue with an idiot like you. |
forgiveness:We are talking of sports and medals - when he won the medal which country did he take it to? |
Oxtonguy:...... I only used your link buddy. Blame yourself. Meanwhile you haven't shown me the list where UI is ahead of UoN. Stop running away from your link - if it had placed UI ahead you would be adamant on it as the credible source. |
shizzy7:Okay dear, he is Nigerian. |
forgiveness:Duuuuude ..........now you're giving me a Briton claiming he is Nigerian? Stop being pathetic - a few pages ago you (or your countryman, I can't remember, who cares) posted a photo of Philadelphia and Seoul claiming it's Nigeria. You are embarrassing your country. |
Oxtonguy:It is interesting how idiots lie without even blinking their eye. You can't say something a few minutes later claim it's somebody else who said it. Luckily the internet never forgets. What a jackass. Oxtonguy:PS......and I got that write-up from your link. Please learn how to use the internet for fcuks sake. |
gallivant:Thank you |
forgiveness:Why are you talking of History? Talk of current affairs - we also have had the likes of Robert Wangila and Congestina Achieng in boxing but please let's not burry ourselves in the past. Even you know Nigeria has nothing in the world arena in boxing. |
Henrydone:The university of Nairobi is ahead of the University of Ibadan from the links he posted and I posted screenshots to prove it. Thing is your friend posted a link he doesn't understand and I have had to educate him from point zero - he claims that UoI is ahead of UoN from the list yet you can't tell that from the list, you can only tell from the comments where they say UoN is number 4 in Africa while UoI is number 8. I am officially convinced you guys have IQs slightly lower than a Bonobos.
|
Oxtonguy:Just give up man......you're clearly out of breath. Every stupid thing you came up with I handed it back to you - acting stupid to avoid accepting you were wrong will never make you right. |
Oxtonguy:I really hate dealing with stupid people. Dude, see, I told you after position 200 the list stops following a merit order and follows an alphabetical order - Ibadan comes before Nairobi in the alphabet that's why the University of Ibadan comes before the University of Nairobi but in the actual ranking UoN is No. 4 in Africa while UoI is No. 8. Look at the screenshot below - University of Ibadan comes ahead of University of Iceland even though University of Iceland ranks between 201 - 250 while Ibadan is between 601-800. It's called an alphabetical order dimwit - LAWD is everyone from the University of Ibadan this thick? Come to the University of Nairobi and be smart. I really hate dealing with idiots.
|
forgiveness:Kenya wins 80℅ of all the major middle and long distance competitions consistently. We are number 7 in the world on Rugby 7s. We've won numerous medals in cricket, swimming etc. I don't know of any major Nigerian boxer, weightlifter or taekwondo fighter and even if there's one then he's just a one hit wonder - boxing and weightlifting is mostly associated with Eastern Europe and America while martial arts is a Far East thing. You're simply telling me that Nigeria does not dominate in ANY sport in the world. |
From position 200, the main ranking on the website does not indicate the exact position of the university - it only indicates the range (e.g. 601-800). It's interesting how some fellas here claim I should "utilize the link" and spot University of Ibadan ahead of University of Nairobi. lol - not surprised though - this is the same guy who asked me to utilize the link and see that UoN featured nowhere among the top 800.........and they still say I'm insulting them when I call them stupid. |
Oxtonguy:Take a screenshot of Ibadan ahead of Nairobi and post it here dimwit. |
Oxtonguy:You can't even interpret your own link.
|
Henrydone:You're also either blind or don't know how to access information on the website. |
iblawi:Comments like this makes me wonder what the IQ of some people on this forum is. Childish and petulant. |
Nigerians shine in small tournaments like regional tournaments, Paralympics and kids sports but when it comes to real sports like the Olympics they're nowhere to be found. |
arinzeejikonye:Let's talk of sportsmen that are globally competitive please - not people winning some useless regional tournaments. |
Oxtonguy:What's wrong with you dude? Are you drunk or just damn stupid? Your link places UoN ahead of UoI and UoN appears on the list. Are you blind? Let me give you a snapshot of the list so that you can go ahead and claim the list is not credible. Check it yourself. PS......and FYI UoI is NOT number 601 but ranks between number 601 and 800. Learn to interpret your links.
|
Oxtonguy:I utilized it and UoN was No. 8 in Africa and UoI was number 14. Now will you please also utilize my Times Higher Education link and see how UoN ranks ahead of UoI again? It seems it's only icu that places UoI ahead of UoN (and by one point in Africa btw) all the other sources place UoN ahead of UoI. Make Google your friend. |
GERALD710:These guys are absurd. They've been here 167 pages doing nothing other than shouting"Kenya is too little for Nigeria! Kenyans are wild animals! Kenya is owned by Indians! Nigeria beats Kenya in everything!" then somehow out of the blues claim that they've proved to us how Nigeria is ahead of Kenya. lol. ...then when you ask them in what ways they pretend they can't engage you because you're supposedly silly. Interesting characters they are. |
