COURT OF APPEAL ABUJA QUASHES CERTIFICATE OF RETURN OF FIVE MEMBERS OF ANAMBRA STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY The Court of Appeal Abuja Division in the Anambra State House of Assembly Pre- election dispute in November has not only quashed the certificate of return of (1) John Olibie (Dunukofia) (2) Obinna Emenaka (Anambra East ) (3) Rebecca Udorji (Awka North) (4) Paulinus Onyeaka (Ekwusigo ) (5) Okadigbo Vivian (Oyi Constituency ) but has also since 8th November, 2013 ordered the clerk of Anambra State House of Assembly to forthwith recognize and deal with the followings as members of Anambra State House of Assembly viz; U) Hon Umerie Uchenna (2) Chijoke Ofoegbunam C. (3) Hon. Okonkwo Boniface (4) Engr. Theo Ch1di Egbe and (5) Ekweoba Solomon respectively The Court of Appeal which ordered Hon. Umerie Uchenna and Co. to step into the shoes of John Olibie and Co also ordered the Clark to swear them in forthwith. The Court awarded cost of N100,000 each against Olibie and Co. in favor of Hon Umerie & co. In one of the two Judgments delivered on the same date and N I00,000 each on the Judgment against the appellants (Olibies). The Court of appeal emphasis declared in both Judgments that the Olibies having participated in Primary conducted by the State chapter of PDP (Anambra) do not have any legal right to litigate or to complain on the basis of principle / practice of fair hearing that Hon Umerie & Co were right not to have joined them abinito and dismissed their appeal. The Court of Appeal also in their both Judgments made special emphasis on issues of appealing against a valid Judgment of court and insisted that filing of notice of appeal and stay of execution in pre -election does not suffice or stay rather a contrary order of an appellate Court of competent jurisdiction When Hon Umerie was contacted, he explained that the Judgment of the court of appeal was sincere and honest and to the Glory of God and has vindicated him And that recently a month or less ago Prince Nicholas Ukachulcivu Vs INEC / PDP/Tony Nwoye. Where INEC resolved to publish Ukachukwu's name as against the notices of appeal and motion for stay of execution filed by both PDP and Tony Nwoye. But with the Judgment of the appeal court Port-harcourt that favoured Nwoye INEC reverted to Tony Nwoye as legal opinion of distinguished legal practitioners INEC employed clearly emphasized that one should enjoy the fruit of his Judgment pending a contrary appeal decisions. So the clerk / speaker and other Assembly officers acting on their behalf should have re-applied such. Which they did when the lower court declined Jurisdiction on our own notice of appeal and stay of execution filled and duly served on the House of Assembly clerk but the clerk and speaker went ahead and swore them (Olibie's) in. So in other words, theirown stay should not suffice as a stay of execution of a valid order of Superior Court. (Emee Nwata ka emelu ibe ya — ) in his words Umerie concluded that "It is well for us through the Lord who strengthens us’’. Hon Umerie also informed that they have also brought to the notice of His Excellency Governor of Anambra State Mr. Peter Obi, the Attorney General / Commissioner for Justice, the Clerk/ the Speaker, the Commissioner of Police/ the State director of SSS Anambra State. He explained that in the letters they canvassed to the security agencies that they will advance to the house of assembly to step into the shoes of their adversaries should the clerk continue not to recognized them forthwith as ordered and explain to his Excellency the Governor/the Clerk/ the Speaker that the continued recognition/receipt of salary/ allowance and accessing other documents of House of Assembly and participation of the Olibies' in legislative businesses of the Anambra Assembly is an illegality And finally for the Governor and Attorney General to guide the clerk/the speaker via legal opinion and for His Excellency the Governor ,Mr Peter Obi to see that order of Court which affects the states operations/ legislations be carried out to the later. His excellency was reminded that his first term in office as Governor was by Judiciary' pronouncement and pleaded with him to continue cherishing and seeing to it that court orders/ Judiciary pronouncements are obeyed with due diligence in the state. Reaching out to Hon Olibie on phone proved abortive. When Umerie was asked of his relationship with Olibie he replied that apart from the day the judgement was delivered in the court of Appeal, Abuja division that they were in close contact and shared the same gubernatorial interest on Tony Nwoye and that Olibie served in the Dunukofia coordinating committee which him umerie headed and commended Olibie’s performance as unprecedented especially at his ward in Ukpo Hon Umerie also obliged us with the followings 1. The two Appeal court Abuja division enrolled order 2. The acknowledged copies of the letters to the Governor, Attorney General/Commissioner for justice, the Clark and the speaker, the commissioner of police and director SSS Anambra state from their lawyers 3. Some page of emphasis in the full document Hon umerie also replied that when they tried to verify any suspicion of scheming on the part of the clark not to swear them in and on the part of Olibie and Emenaka no to obey court order by continuing sitting as members of the House of Assembly. He explained that legislation is not only done in Anambra state but also within the federal republic of Nigeria and all over the world. The state image and that of the federal government may be found wanting in a state where order of the court is not obeyed or legislatures that prevents colleagues whose certificates of return have been granted. This will give a negative image against the much touted call for investors in the state and also the INEC Image which may be seen as tainted by the international community. Observing that a court of law has quashed a judgement where INEC was dully represented and allows itself to be seen as breaching the constitution on the issues. What then is the confidence of foreign investors?.In a system or state or nation that clamours for rapid economic growth and development ignore miscreants and some political passers-bys who just gambled it in the like of the Olibies, Emenakas, Vivian et al. UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT CALLS FOR CANCELLATION OF ANAMBRA GUBER ELECTION...Pharm Ikeagwuonwu Chinedu Klinsmann (Anambra State PDP) The United States Government has joined numerous calls asking for the cancellation of the Anambra State Election. The US Assistant Secretary Bureau of African Affairs, Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield expressed this concern over the conduct of the Anambra State Guber by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) The United States Ambassador who spoke with press men in Abuja on Thursday 5th of December 2013 maintained that a transparent election in Nigeria remains a high priority for the United States and that the Anambra Stated Guber Election was not transparent confirmed our disposition that Anambra Guber Election was a Scientific Fraud. Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield went on to pledge a US government assistance to Nigerian Government to ensure that the errors that led to the supplementary election in Anambra State are not repeated in future elections in Nigeria The United States Government spokes-person made it known that Anambra State Guber election was very problematic and un-transparent and that this seriously raises a concern about future elections in Nigeria and that Anambra Election does not reflect the will of the people In order to solve the problems created by the Anambra Electoral Fraud, the US Ambassador suggested that the United States Government will work with Political parties to ensure that a Re-election in Anambra State and other future elections especially the 2015 general election will reflect the will of the people We are very grateful to the United State Government that used her Satellite to X-ray the Guber Fraud in Anambra on the 16th of November and confirmed it for what it is, A CHARADE Based on this confirmation and further evidence of electoral malpractice orchestrated by APGA and INEC during and after the November 16th Guber election in the state, the Tony Nwoye Campaign Organisation and Anambra State PDP maintain our call for a total cancellation of the guber election and that the commission should organise a fresh election without delay We also ask our supporters to be hopeful, faithful and steadfast as the mountain of evidence of the fraud perpetrated by both INEC and APGA in our possession will ensure that the Tribunal cancels this fraud and call for fresh election Signed Pharm Ikeagwuonwu Chinedu Klinsmann Team Leader ICT and COMMUNICATION UNIT Tony Nwoye Campaign Organisation Wapsa2003@yahoo.co.uk |
KEN EMEKAYI IS A FRAUD AND HAS NO POWER TO SACK ANY MEMBER OF TONY NWOYE CAMPAIGN ORGANISATION.......COUNT US OUT OF THE SUPPLEMENTARY ELECTION PRESS STATEMENT The attention of the ICT Unit of Comrade Tony Nwoye Campaign Organisation has been drawn to a purported charade carried out by Mr Kenneth Emekayi where he claimed to have suspended Hon Osita Ezenwa and Hon Ken Arinze from Anambra State PDP We want o state categorically clear as follows; 1. That Mr Emekayi is not a member of PDP and thus has no power whatsoever to suspend any member of PDP in Anambra state or elsewhere in the country 2. That Ken Emekayi was expelled at the 280th meeting of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the PDP that held in Abuja 3.That 0n the 22nd of August,2011 the South-east Zonal Working Committee (ZWC) of the party announced the suspension of Ken Emekayi and seven members of the party in the state for alleged constitutional breaches and anti-party activities. They were alleged to have breached Article 21.1(a), 21.1(b), 21.1(h), 21.1(i) and 21.1(j) of the PDP constitution by engaging in acts likely to bring the party to disrepute 4. That INEC in its letter to the PDP dated 11th of August, 2013 and addressed to Bamanga Tukur stated that Ken Emekayi was expelled from the PDP and that the commission has not received any letter from the PDP where Ken Emekayi was pardoned 5.That Ken Emekayi’s accomplice Mr Olisa Metuh has an unrepentant penchant for creating crisis in the PDP as his bed fellow Emeakayi accused Metuh in August 2011 of fuelling crisis in the state and for allegedly withdrawing Money from the party’s state account in collaboration with his uncle, Chief Emma Nweze 6. That both Olisa Metuh and Ken Emekayi should explain to Anambra State PDP members the various roles they played in corroboration with APGA and amount running into millions of Naira each of them have been accussd of collecting from APGA to rig the shameful Nov 16th Guber election in the state Like we have addressed in previous press statements, the likes of Olisa Metuh and Ken Emekayi who think they can play god in Anambra state, who think they are PDP Super stars and those like them who ascribe to themselves political immortality should be prepared to fight this battle to a logical conclusion. God who gave us the strength to endure sleepless nights of campaigns and more will prove to Olisa Metuh and Ken Emekayi they are mere mortals and pawns in his hands. They will be caught in their web of deceit and through their mischevious schemes they will be scattered, AMEN.Therefore let him that thinks he stands take heed lest he fall (1 Corinthians 10:12) We commend all our supporters that have been with us through these turbulent days and implore them to stay at home on Saturday 30th of Nov, 2013 as Tony Nwoye Campaign Organisation will not take part in the INEC supplementary election Signed Phar Ikeagwuonwu Klinsmann Mazi Okwu Okwu Mazi Orjika Chidi Hon OkonkwoPaul Hon Igboka Maduabuchi ICT AND COMMUNICATION UNIT TONY NWOYE CAMPAIGN ORGANISATION Wapsa2003@yahoo.co.uk |
KEN EMEKAYI AND OLISA METUH PDP QUISLINGS AND ATTEMPTS TO SABOTAGE TONY NWOYE GOOD GOVERNANCE REVOLUTIONARY TRAIN! [WITH “OKECHUKWU ANAMBRA”, ANAMBRA WILL BE GOOD AGAIN!] According to Microsoft Encarta Dictionary, “Vidkun Quisling was a Norwegian politician who from 1933 led the National Union Party, the Norwegian fascist party. (Quisling was not his real name - he was originally Abraham Lauritz Jonsson.) When the Germans invaded Norway in 1940, he gave them active support, urging his fellow Norwegians not to resist them, and in 1942 he was installed by Hitler as a puppet premier. In 1945 he was shot for treason”. Nothing so much resembles Vidkun Quisling’s job than the activities of leading Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, members during the recent infamous and inconclusive November 16th 2013 Anambra governorship election. The recent press conference by the PDP National Publicity Secretary Mr. Oliseh Metuh and Anambra PDP State Chairman, Prince Ken Emekayai saying that they have expelled the DG, Tony Nwoye Campaign Organisation, Dr. Osita Ezenwa and DG, Protocols Okey Arinze, for anti-party activity could liken to be an embarrassing dirty jobs of the quislings. Their crime was ever challenging their [Metuh, Emeakayi and co.] sabotage and anti-party activities against the PDP’s gubernatorial candidate Comrade Tony Nwoye climaxing with their overriding selfish and politically motivated parochial interests. To the extent that Metuh, Emeakayi and co. were the first to go on air declaring an election that both foreign and local observers said was marred by frauds and irregularities and even Independent Electoral Commission, INEC Chairman Prof. Attahiru Jega discredited and said to have been be sabotaged by even INEC staff? That some leading influential PDP chieftains from Anambra state and at the centre like Metuh and Emeakayi worked against the Governorship candidacy of Comrade Tony Nwoye, during the recently held gubernatorial elections is no longer news. We strongly averred that the “era of mesmerizing PDPism is over” with the return of internal democracy championed by the PDP National Chairman, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur and party leader, His Excellency Dr. Goodluck Ebere Jonathan. We are surprised that Messrs. Metuh and Emeakayi would just wakeup and purportedly expel DG Dr. Ezenwa and Okey Arinze for telling them the bitter truth that they cannot speak for Tony Nwoye trading away his candidacy. We therefore call upon the fatherly leadership of Ahaji Tukur and President Jonathan to call these PDP quislings to order before they destroy what is left of PDP in Anambra state recently rebuilt and reengineered by Comrade Tony Nwoye candidacy. Day in, day out; and deep into nightfall, we campaigned side by side with Comrade Tony Nwoye “Okechukwu Anambra” because we know him inside out as a principled and courageous activist-leader who will surely fulfill the contents of his social welfarist manifesto for the betterment of Great Anambra and people. Comrade Tony Nwoye has a humble begging and rose from grass to grace and has consistently promised that he will if elected Governor of Anambra state carry-out TRANSFORMATION AGENDA and fights crimes by reducing poverty and empowering the youths and women through empowerment programs. He will also pay social benefits to the aged and firstly, cut higher institutions’ school fees by 50% and as well to provide free education from primary to secondary school level. This was the message we the Tony Nwoye Campaign organisation and loyal PDP members along with Comrade Tony Nwoye took to the Anambra electorate for only nine days of campaigns despite the fact that the self-assumed Goliaths and the shameless godfathers he defeated at the PDP gubernatorial primary made us waste a lot of time at the Courts and never let go even after protracted court battles. Yet this Okechukwu Anambra message was taken by the Anambra electorate within the said short interval of campaigns. While we campaigned vigorously for Tony Nwoye, the self-assumed Goliaths and the shameless godfathers worked against us, supporting the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA candidate because they felt unsettled that “Okechukwu Anambra” will seal their fate – as godfathers including dirty politics and corrupt enrichment, if elected. This was/is the main reason why Anambra electorate believed in Tony Nwoye and vehemently voted for him that notwithstanding the counter-offensive politics from the PDP’s self-assumed Goliaths and the shameless godfathers and Peter Obi led APGA making it possible for the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to massively rig in favour of the APGA’s candidate Chief Willy Obiano, ComradeTony Nwoye who campaigned for only nine days gallantly came second! The position of the Tony Nwoye Campaign Organisation remains that we neither saw Ken Emeakayi nor Oliseh Metuh and co. throughout Tony Nwoye campaigns train that transverse the length and breadth of Anambra state nor at the Campaign office and that they lacked the locus standi to speak for Comrade Tony Nwoye who they neither worked for nor have consulted after the infamous gubernatorial election even at the time of filing this report. For this reason and their dubious acceptance of the electoral frauds and irregularities of November 16th while hailing the INEC and shoddy sabotage and compromising Anambra electorate. They cannot speak for Tony Nwoye who has long called for the cancellation of the fraudulent governorship Election! Not when about 700, 000 registered voters including our candidate Tony Nwoye, his wife, parents and sibling, PDP Grand Patron in Anambra state, Prince Arthur Eze and former PDP national woman leader and wife of the PDP BOT Chairman, Mrs Josephine Anenih were criminally disenfranchised because their names could not be found in the INEC’s doctored voters’ register? If this was the crime that Osita Ezenwa and co. are to be expelled from Anambra PDP it means that such Ken Emekayi and co are not only “PDP QUISLINGS” but have lost touch with reality and needs redemption. Many attempts have been made to fix Anambra PDP and her quarrelling godfathers but it all appear intractable! Tony Nwoye’s Governorship candidacy has given enough hope on how not to only save PDP but reform Anambra politics that peoples’ concern will take the lead and if eventually sabotaged as seen happening with the PDP quislings Anambra PDP will be in comatose for the next 20 years with no sign of redemption. We are optimistic that the November 16th 2013 Anambra governorship election frauds and state sanctioned irregularities will not stand the test of judicial klieg-light. Thereby, maintains the position of our flag bearer Comrade Tony Nwoye that INEC should cancel the infamous and inconclusive electoral frauds and allows Anambra people their rights to freely chose who governs them. Without fear or favour, we restate: Ken Emekayi and Olisa Metuh PDP quislings cannot speak for Comrade Tony Nwoye or for his Campaign organisation and no amount of threats will see us shifting ground until re-run election is carried out across the entire Anambra state. We have it on good note that with the weighty evidences pointing to massive riggings in favour of APGA’s Willy Obiano - the electoral fraud and illegalities, November 16th will not stand the test of time. We call upon all the Tony Nwoye’s fans and Anambra electorate to remain of good spirit that Tony Nwoye Transformation Revolutionary Train will eventually take us to treasured land and not to mind Ken Emekayi and Olisa Metuh PDP quislings and their cacophonous noise. SUPPLEMENTARY ELECTION IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL; NULL AND VOID....INEC MUST PROVIDE RESULT SHEETS OF THE 1903 NEW POLLING BOOTHS IT CREATED TWO DAYS BEFORE ELECTION...Pharm Ikeagwuonwu Klinsmann (Tony Nwoye Campaign Organisation) The resolve of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to go ahead with her planned Supplementary Election in Anambra State has clearly shown that INEC is determined to scuttle democracy in Anambra State New evidence emerges daily and the last may not have been heard regarding the fraud perpetrated under Prof Jega’s lens in both INEC Offices at Abuja and Awka. New information has shown that INEC hurriedly created 1903 new polling booths two days prior to the election to prepare ground for rigging. During the election, about 6583 polling booths were used, meanwhile, Political parties were given a list containing only 4680 polling booths. How did 1903 polling booths surface on the Election Day? An INEC official argued that the new polling booths were created but were not used. The question is, what then happened to the result sheets that were meant to be used at the 1903 new polling booths, have the result sheets been accounted for? New evidence has also been suggested as was aired on Channels Television on the 23rd Nov, 2013 that INEC allowed the registration of minors as voters by Anambra State Government and APGA. These minors, most of whom are less than eleven years of age were fraudulently registered as voters in places like Anaocha LGA and strongholds of APGA and were used to rig election on the 16th of November The resolve to insist on Supplementary Election in Anambra State is a deliberate attempt by INEC to either scuttle the Guber election in the state or to abscond from responsibilities without clearing the mess manufactured in her office at Awka and midwifed by Prof Onukogu There is no provision for a SUPPLEMENTARY ELECTION in Either our Electoral Act or the 1999 Constitution. INEC knew that in Nigeria Electoral Act, we only have GENERAL ELECTION, BYE-ELECTION, FRESH OR RERUN ELECTION AND A RUN-OFF ELECTION A general election is the regular election conducted under the Electoral Act and the constitution. It includes presidential, governorship or legislative elections or election into the local government or area councils. A bye-election is conducted to fill a legislative seat made vacant by the death, resignation, incapacity or recall of an incumbent. A rerun election or a fresh election is conducted following an order by an election tribunal, court, or election appeal tribunal nullifying the result of a particular election, and directing that a fresh election be conducted in place of the nullified or voided election. A run-off election is conducted between two leading candidates vying for a particular office following the failure of the initial election among the candidates in an election to produce a clear winner in accordance with the law. In all these, there is no place Supplementary election was mentioned in our constitution or the Electoral Act. Any other instruments outside these two are NULL and VOID. Anambrarians, must rise and reject calls for Supplementary election and other diversionary antics of INEC. The electoral body must explain to Anambrarians and Nigerians why it hurriedly created 1903 polling booths two days to the election and what happened to the result sheets of these polling booths. RE: ANAMBRA ELECTION; SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT...RICHARD IHEDIWA IS DELUSIONAL AND CANNOT SPEAK FOR TONY NWOYE CAMPAIGN ORGANISATION....PHARM IKEAGWUONWU KLINSMANN PRESS STATEMENT Our have been notified of a purported press release issued by one Richard Ihediwa claiming to represent Barr Olisa Metuh, National Publicity Secretary of the PDP. In as much as we may not join issues with misfits and those prescribing false information aimed at deceiving Nigerians, we may however respond to this misguided press statement that emanated under the very nose of the Office of the National Publicity Secretary, for the benefit of our supporters and PDP members in Anambra state that have endured sleepless nights and nine days of intensive campaigns for and with Comrade Tony Nwoye before and after the INEC engineered fraudulent Guber election in the state Those whom the gods want to destroy they first make mad and from all Clinical indications, it is evident that MR RICHARD IHEDIWA IS SERIOUSLY EXHIBITING THE SYMPTOMS OF CEREBRAL HALLUCINATION AND WE ADVICE HIM TO VISIT THE NEAREST PHARMACY FOR A DOSE OF CLOZAPINE Abinitio, we have made several press statements notifying Political Jingoists like Richard Ihediwa that Comrade Tony Nwoye has a Campaign Organisation headed by Hon Osita Ezenwa and Hon Anyaonu Chike. Any other press statements emanating outside these two men of honour should to the extent of its inconsistencies be null and void Comrade Tony Nwoye has through the Campaign Organisation made it clear that Anambra State PDP is boycotting the shameful supplementary election INEC will be organising on the 30th of November and has made several press statements to that effect. On what capacity is delusional Richard Ihediwa asking us in Anambra to participate in the supplementary election? Is Richard the PDP Guber candidate in Anambra State?.Who is Richard Ihediwa to tell us what to do in Anambra State? It is obvious that Mr Richard Ihediwa is being used by APGA to further rig more elections in Anambra State In an election in which more evidence has revealed a statistical fraud committed by INEC wherein 82,790 votes garnered by the PDP Candidate was fraudulently given to the APGA Candidate by INEC and instead of Mr Richard to raise these issues, he decided to play anti-party to satisfy his contractors in APGA and INEC. We have it on good authority that the total valid votes INEC claimed that was casted on the 16th of November being 316,436 is less than the aggregate 399,406 votes scored by the four major political parties in Anambra State, indicating that 82,970 votes scored by the PDP Candidate Comrade Tony Nwoye was smuggled into the votes of the APGA candidate. If the likes of Richard Ihediwa and his co travellers are really PDP members, what prevented them from speaking out against this fraud? But of course, they will not protest because the money paid to them by their APGA contractors has not expired WE WISH TO AFFIRM THAT ANAMBRA STATE PDP AND COMRADE TONY NWOYE CAMPAIGN ORGANISATION ARE NOT PARTICIPATING IN THE SO CALLED INEC SHEDULED SUPPLEMENTARY ELECTION ON THE 30TH OF NOVEMBER, 2013 WE WISH TO AFFIRM OUR SUPPORT AND LOYALTY TO THE NATIONAL WORKING COMMITTEE OF THE PDP AND TO ALHAJI BAMANGA TUKUR LED EXECUTIVES WE ALSO STRONGLY AFFIRM OUR LOYALTY TO DR GOODLUCK JONATHAN AND SINCERELY APPRECIATE HIS SUPPORTS TO COMRADE TONY NWOYE CAMPAIGN ORGANISATION SO FAR In conclusion, we warn Mr Richard Ihediwa and his likes to stay their leprous hands and mouths off Anambra State Guber Election. WE SHALL SWIM OR SINK WITH TONY NWOYE IN ANAMBRA STATE Let Anambra electorate choose who governs them!!! Comrade Tony Nwoye, apart from his activist’s famous genuine character line is a great mind and promising youth leader that was deemed feat to fly the ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during the recent inconclusive gubernatorial election in Anambra state. Anambra state and her people have suffered underdevelopment and destruction of legacy mostly caused by the infighting amongst Politicians and the refusal of Mr Peter Obi to organise a Local Government Election in the State for the past eight years. Many attempts have been made to fix Anambra and her quarrelling godfathers but it all appear intractable! The Anambra godfathers are more bigoted and richer than their mates elsewhere that they march each other power to power and money with money. It has been said “Money flow from Abuja to other states but inversely goes to Abuja from Anambra state”. For this, money politics tears Anambra people apart. For this too, Mr. Peter Obi has been able to use huge money and roads politics to cut corners and rig his party into power. It happened in 2010. This, also mercilessly reared its ugly heads during last Saturday. To this anti-social acts, irrational money politics and habitual shortchanging of the electorate, Anambra people rejoiced and vigorously identified and supported Comrade Tony Nwoye because he, through the primaries and dirty litigations wars trampled and demystified the godfathers and their lieutenants. His emergence as PDP Candidate against the wills of the Goliaths was seen as “David’s triumph” by the Anambra electorate that he campaigned only nine days due to time wasted at court and still came second with about 94000 plus real votes unlike those garnered by a beneficiary of the Powers that be at Awka. Anambra people voted massively for Tony Nwoye and would have given him their mandate had there been free and fair elections as his political rising will seal the fate of the infamous god-fatherism in Anambra polity. Tony Nwoye’s gubernatorial ambition has become a sabotaged revolution by the godfathers and powers that be . This revolution is still promising and calls for cancellation of the whole exercise is more on the positive side.Condemnations have trailed, many stories have been told about the most infamous gubernatorial elections conducted by the Independent National Election Commission, INEC last November 16th 2013 in Anambra state. With the turn of events leading to shortchanging of the electorate, roles played by the police, INEC staff and ad-hoc staff, community and some traditional leaders; one can vibrantly be in the league of those who alleged that the powers that be in the state, like a thief in the night, connived to steal the Guber election favouring the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA candidate Chief Willy Obiano. This position has nothing to do with political sentiment or party affiliation but turn of the events as it concerned last gubernatorial elections, so we begrudge not Willy Obiano but here to discuss issues bothering on social injustice and electoral frauds. Of course, the respective candidates of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, All Progressive Congress, APC and Labour Party, LP, Comrade Tony Nwoye, Dr. Chris Ngige and Chief Ifeanyi Ubah, have condemned INEC and the entire exercise and addressed joint press conference asking for outright cancellation and re-run. Imagine about 700,000 voters including the candidate of PDP, Comrade Tony Nwoye, his wife, parents and siblings, PDP Chieftain Prince Arthur Eze and wife of the PDP’s national Board of Trustees chairman Mrs. Josephine Anenih could not find their names on the voters’ registers and were disenfranchised from voting. Even the INEC national chairman, Prof. Attahiru Jega has come out boldly saying that INEC staff sabotaged the electoral exercise as vividly seen in Idemili North and Idemili South. What else remains to cancel the elections? Some have said that INEC has no power to cancel elections based on the alleged irregularity and frauds, but there have been an antecedent recorded in Imo state during Imo’s 2011 governorship elections where INEC cancelled Oguta Zone elections based on gross irregularities and fraudulent activities and through the re-run of the said INEC’s cancelled Oguta Owelle Rochas Okorocha was declared winner. A situation whereby about 700, 000 voters were grossly disenfranchised from voting far outweighs the issue of excluding a candidate from participating in an election, on which basis courts cancels elections. So whether INEC cancels the last November 16, Anambra gubernatorial elections or not; we strongly believe that the illegality will not stand before the tribunal through the Supreme Court So it is to Prof Jega’s credit to remedy his soiled reputation by identifying the irregularities and frauds by his INEC staff and security men and call for a re-run of the whole process to give credibility to 2015 general elections or have court exposing his INEC’s partisanship that sabotage Anambra revolution. With what happened in Anambra state, Prof Jega’s credibility and promises about free and fair elections in Nigeria is now threatening democracy and makes 2015 portends more lethal crises. Chief Victor Umeh came out saying that the fraudulent Anambra November 16, 2013 governorship election condemned by both foreign and local observers, Anambra voters, candidates and chief umpire Prof Attahiru Jega discredited respectively was free and fair. It verily unfortunate that Anambra electorate could not only be decided for but taken for granted because of the political interest of one individual! (MR PETER OBI WHO WANTS THIRD TENURE) One means the same Anambra governorship election that women numbering more than 5000 shouted as they marched to the INEC office Awka days after? The women who converged at the popular Aroma junction demands amongst all viz: 1. That INEC should cancel the state election. 2. That Prof Jega who admitted on AIT that the election was rigged must sack Prof Onukogu and conduct fresh election. 3 That APGA used police to rig election. Etc Speaking on the activities of some APGA bought over PDP quislings against the true reality on the ground and fraudulent elections and irregularities a PDP Chieftain Chike Nwaanguma said “he was worried about the multiplicity of views from top members of his party, who he accused of having turned their positions to stock market of sorts. Persons who have contributed little or nothing to the growth or fortunes of the party at whatever level”. Chief Nwanguma, went further to say he “believed that a larger section of the state's electorate were disenfranchised last Saturday because INEC and their computer data base bungled the voters register of the state”. He therefore wondered why Prof Attahiruh Jega muddled up the voters register and dumped it on the laps of the parties, giving room for the governorship election to be discredited beyond measure. Thank God Comrade Tony Nwoye, in his revolutionary mindset and product of activistism/tradition has come bold rejecting the election and is asking for fresh election in Anambra state against the position and politics of the ranting APGA bought over PDP sell-outs and quislings. PROF JEGA ADMITTED THAT ANAMBRA ELECTION WAS SABOTAGED BY PROF ONUKOGU...CANCEL ANAMBRA ELECTION NOW AND ARREST ONUKOGU.........PHARM IKEAGWUONWU KLINSMANN The only criterion for injustice to prevail in a society is for the good people in that society to remain silent. It is a common knowledge that APGA and some senior staff of INEC in Anambra state colluded to fraudulently sabotage the Guber election held on the 16th of November,2013 .An injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. I call on all Nigerians and the global community to take actions against this fundamental rape of democracy in Anambra state. For posterity, below are ten count reasons why Prof Onukogu Should be sacked and arrested for personally rigging the Anambra State election in favour of APGA. Inter Alia; 1.... Prof Jega admited on AIT that INEC used flawed voters register 2.... Parties were given Voters Register of 2.4 million voters while Voters Register used for the election contained 1.7 million voters. 3.... 700,000 Register Voters were disenfranchised. These Anambrarians are angry 4.... INEC officials took away result sheets from polling stations which made Obosi ward of 48,000 registered voters to refuse voting 5.... PDP is morally obligated to reject result of election when her Governorship candidate and his family were unlawfully excluded from Voters Register. 6.... In PDP and APC strongholds INEC officials and voting materials were deployed late between 10.30am and 12pm making it difficult for large numbers of their supporters to vote 7.... APGA colluded openly with INEC Staff to intimidate supporters of the opposition party and INEC also personally midwifed rigging by APGA and declared fradulent result on behalf of APGA 8.... INEC response as to what caused the rescheduling of Obosi Ward (48000 registered voters) election was crafted to deceive Nigerians, they made the false claim of consulting Idemili community but we know that there is no town called Idemili in anambra state. 9.... The Electoral Officer of Idemili North LGA, a mere 1 LGA out of 7-LGAs in the central senatorial zone, now under police incarceration was part of whole fraudulent team at INEC HQ under Prof. Onukogu, the Anambra REC. Prof Onukogu should be arrested too 10....The voters register presented to representatives of Political parties in Awka by INEC was entirely different from the voters register INEC used to conduct the Nov 16th election...What a fraud and a slap on the face of 180 Million Nigerians....PROF ONUKOGU MUST BE SACKED AND ARRESTED Therefore, and in the interest of public morality, the entire election must be cancelled to make way for a fresh Anambra poll under a new INEC leadership in Anambra State Pharm Ikeagwuonwu Chinedu Klinsmann B.Pharm(Nig),MPH,MFIP,MPSN,JP |

For Vice President Sambo, he brought President Goodluck Jonathan’s good news and solidarity support to Comrade Nwoye’s Anambra governorship quest asking Anambra electorate to vote one of their own who understands the pulse of the masses and grassroots needs and challenges. Emeka Idu, the Accord Party’s only legislator and Deputy Minority Leader, Anambra State House of Assembly and hundreds of his followers decamped and were received into PDP by the National Chairman of Party Alhaji Tukur. Former Minister of Transport and PDP National woman leader, Hon Kema Chikwe and wife of the Chairman PDP Board of Trustees Iyom Josephine Aneni threw their weight behind Tony Nwoye and bade Anambra people to vote for a youth that will bring in innovations and technocrats to bail the state. For the PDP candidate Comrade Tony Nwoye it was a day of joy that tells well his vision for Anambra state and he as well asked Anambra people to challenge him with their mandate. “I have come to serve. I will not let you down, my people!” says Tony Nwoye. With the Supreme Court ruling and Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC revalidation and PDP flag finally presented to Comrade Tony Nwoye the deal has been sealed on who owns the PDP mandate in the coming gubernatorial election. Also in attendance were Political heavyweights in Anambra state and party stalwarts that includes Dr Amamchukwu Ezeike, Ambassador Brown Ezeugo,Hon Jessie Baleonwu,Hon Osita Ezenwa,Dr Tony Macfoy Akachukwu,Hon Chike Anyaonu, Prince Arthur Eze,Dr Mrs Ekwueme,Eze Chinwuba,Prof Kenneth Ofakansi,Hon Tony Nwabuona,Hon Okey Muo Aroh, Hon Barth Onugbolu,Fred Ogba amongst others The Director of Tony Nwoye Campaign Organisation Hon Osita Ezenwa who declared the Forum open was impressed with the large number of Stakeholders that came to give their support to the party even on short notice. Prince Arthur Eze who represented President Goodluck Jonathan gave assurances that the National Leadership of the PDP are solidly behind Comrade Tony Nwoye while also assuring that President Goodluck Jonathan will arrive the state in no distant time to join the PDP and stakeholders in Anambra State to support Comrade Tony Nwoye The Deputy Governorship Candidate Dr Amanchukwu Ezeike who spoke after a short while charged the people of the state and party faithfuls to work together in a synergic harmony to ensure absolute victory for the party on the 16th of November. He also reminded the people of the state the need to send the APGA Government packing from Government House more especially on the inability of APGA and their leaders to organise Local Government Election in the state since the past seven years which has impoverised Local Gvernment Areas, killed democracy and enthroned autocracy in the state Hon Okey Muo Aroh craved the indulgence of the Forum and took the party faithfuls down memory lane on the achievements of Comrade Tony Nwoye and sacrifices he made for the party in the past especially when he served the party as the state chairman in 2007 and his honest contributions especially during the Guber Primary where he eventually emerged Comrade Tony nwoye received a standing ovation when he took the floor to address the stakeholders. Comrade Nwoye started by thanking the PDP and the people of Anambra state for the confidence and support he receved during and after the guber primary. He delivered a solidarity message from the National Chairman Dr Bamanga Tukur while also assuring that the Presidency is favourably disposed to a free and fair election devoid of rancour in the state. While making his speech, comrade Nwoye advised the people of the state to be more pro-active, honest, hardworking and dedicated to the Anambra dream as these are the ingredients that will usher hope and true democracy in the state. Comrade Nwoye promised that if voted- in, his Government must organise Local Government Election in the state between three to six months of his swearing-in as Governor to ensure that the Monthly allocations for each Local Government Areas goes straight to the grass-roots. He accused the APGA led state Government of being autocratic and insensitive to the yearnings of the grass-root and mismanagement of Billions of Naira meant for the Local Government Areas which the state tactically diverted for seven and half years Comrade Nwoye further posited that the present Government in the state encouraged insecurity and kidnapping as a result of it’s inability to create jobs for the teeming Anambra youths and graduates since the past seven years of Mr Peters Obi’s administration, an act that created a chain reaction that saw a prolific rise in crime rate in the state. Comrade Nwoye assured that his government will use Job creation to fight crime, insecurity and kidnapping in the state. In his words ‘’I am a youth and I know exactly what the youths want. I will keep the youths busy and engaged by creating jobs and other policies that will get our youths engaged and also give them a sense of belonging. By so doing, crime rate and kidnapping will reduce as our youths will be too busy to think of social vices’’ Comrade Tony Nwoye continued by promising to remember the poor and the widows in Anambra state, that he is touched especially when he sees the hardship the indigents, widows and Orphans pass through in the state and promised that his government will create a social fund that will cater especially for the widows and the orphans. He also promised to ensure the creation of soft loans for Anambrarians that would want to access such loans to further their businesses interests and make a living. He frowned at the poor state of hospitals in the state which have became DEATH TRAPS while APGA’S Government neglected its updating. He assured that his government will give healthcare a priority and must update all existing infrastructures to ensure the functionality of Hospitals, Health centres and Medical institutions scattered across the state especially the health posts in the rural areas to ensure Health Equality and Equity in the distribution of Healthcare resources so that every son or daughter of the state can access quality healthcare wherever he or she lives He concluded by thanking members of the stakeholders forum and also promised to do his best to ensure that the state works again in 2014 if elected Pharm Ikeagwuonwu Klinsmann Mazi Orjika Chidi Hon Ikechukwu Onyia Mazi Okwu Okwu Mr Paul Okonkwo ICT and Communications Unit Tony Nwoye Campaign Team www.tonynwoye.org |

They noted that APGA’s Government could not construct a single road nor erect a functional hospital in their communities as they had to travel hundreds of miles to access a functional hospital in neighbouring Towns around Ayamelum. They frowned at such a disastrous neglect as it has became a CRIME TO FALL SICK IN AYAMELUM LGA because of the insensitive nature of APGA’s government which therefore explained the basis for APGA to be voted out on the 16th of November. While thanking the People of Ayamelum for their enormous support, Comrade Tony Nwoye observed that Ayamelum LGA supported him while he was the PDP Chairman of the state in 2006 and also has a tradition of supporting PDP, a promised kept by the LGA in previous elections in the state. Dr Macfoy noted that the APGA’s Government that will soon expire is a dissappointment to Anambrarians especially to the people of Ekwusigo as the Local Government benefited next to nothing within the past seven years of APGA’s `presence in the state. Comrade Tony Nwoye further charged the people of Ekwusigo to ask questions concerning the conspiracy of Mr Peter Obi to impose his business partner on the people of Anambra State while at the same time neglecting job creation and youth empowerment ICT AND COMMUNICATION UNIT TONY NWOYE CAMPAIGN ORGANISATION www.tonynwoye.org |

A Party Stalwart Hon Boniface Okonkwo frowned at the present status quo in the state where students, especially the indigents are being expelled from school simply because they cannot afford school fees that has sky-rocketed because of the insincere academic policies of the present administration in the state. He concluded that education is a right and not a privilege and must be made free or atleast affordable so that the poorest of the poor can go to school and be empowered. Free and access to quality education remains a fundamental bedrock of Comrade Tony Nwoye’s Manifesto. Hon Tony Nwabuona when contacted, gave kudos to the PDP Leadership for showing support to Peter’s University Project. THE ESSENTIALS OF TONY NWOYE.......LETS GO MAKE A GOVERNOR IN ANAMBRA STATE Born a twin in Onitsha, on 13th September 1974 to Chief Lawrence and Mrs. Christiana Nwoye of Offianta Nsugbe in Anambra East L.G.A of Anambra state .Tony Okechukwu Nwoye’s rise to the top echelon of the National politics has been nothing short of meteoric. This simple man with a very humble beginning had his early education at Metropolitan Secondary School, Onitsha where he demonstrated outstanding academic excellence that immediately earned him admission into the prestigious College of Medicine of the University Of Nigeria. He furthered his quest for medical training at the College of Medicine, Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki. While he has always demonstrated uncanny interest in political affairs from his childhood days, his political career blossomed during his days as a medical student in the University of Nigeria. From asserting himself as an opinion leader in the University of Nigeria’s Medical Association (UNMSA) even as a very junior student, Tony led the movement that tenaciously but diplomatically pressured the authorities of the University of Nigeria into lifting the ban on students’ unionism after many years of having the student movement under locks and keys. Following that, he won a seat to represent medical students in the Student’s union House of Representatives, a feat that is notable as Tony was coming from the youngest eligible medical class. He subsequently contested and won the Speakership of S.U.G House of Representatives, defeating older and more established student politicians in that epochal feat. He was the first medical student to serve in that capacity in the history of University of Nigeria. He ran a very vibrant House, fought tenaciously for the rights of the students and refused to compromise on his principles of honest/sincere representation. Comrade Tony Nwoye never gave up on his principled and courageous leadership even in the face of threats and even academic victimization from the authorities then. In December 2003, Tony was elected the National president of National Association of Nigeria Student (NANS) in a fiercely contested election. He recorded unprecedented successes in that office. He fought the Federal government to a standstill on many issues concerning the Nigerian students’ rights and welfare and in a demonstration of rare political savvy uncommon for someone his age. He got the Federal Government of Nigeria under President Olusegun Obasanjo to take the students’ position into consideration in the various government policies on education and students’ welfare. Tony by his strides became a household name in youth leadership and movement in the country. Little wonder that he was thereafter elected the Assistant Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Anambra State PDP in 2005. By 2006, he rose from that office to become the substantive Chairman of the State Executive Committee of the Anambra State PDP at the unbelievable young age of 31, making him the youngest State Chairman of a political party in the entire nation – a national record. Most remarkably, he went ahead to deliver for PDP and recorded a resounding victory in the State and Federal positions at the 2007 General Election. In 2010, owing to his outstanding track record in public service, Tony was beckoned on by his people to bring his vast leadership experience to bear more directly on them. He thus contested and very easily won a seat to represent his people of Anambra East/West constituency in the Federal House of Representatives. However, the retrogressive forces that has held Anambra state hostage for donkey years contrived to cause his certificate of Return to be issued to their crony who never ran. A firm believer in the rule-of-law, Tony challenged this illegality in court and won! Currently, he is a member – elect of the Federal House of Representatives. Tony is naturally an activist, a grass-root mobiliser, a consensus builder and a very consummate political strategist. He is easily at home with both the nobles and the ordinary folks even as he is quick to identify with the later as his primary constituency and, in his own words, ‘the focus of his foray into politics’. His love of people and desire to improve the lives of the down-trodden even at the risk of his personal and political interests marks him out as a politician of a different ilk. In Tony, the Anambra people are being presented a leader with very rare combination of attributes – young but vastly experienced, dynamic, purposeful and a team player. He is result-oriented, an out-and-out grass root person but with very wide vertical reach. But beyond all these, the Anambra people will find in Comrade Tony Nwoye that youthful, up-to-date leader who despite of his obvious sophistication in contemporary politics, retains the common touch - the human element. He shares genuine comradeship with the youths and the masses and deeply empathizes with the dispossessed and the down trodden. He feels their pains, shares their hopes and will address their needs. Little wonder he was nicknamed: “The Voice of the Masses” by the teeming population of Anambra State. Tony Nwoye represents voice for peace, prosperity and progress. A credible alternative. He has promises to take a new direction with a fresh approach. His government if voted shall be a government by the people for the People. He is an Everyday Man working for Everyday People. He is the change we need. A voice we deserve. His mission is to build our future together: for our Children; our Community; our Future. A Leader who listens. Tony has served the nation selflessly and meritoriously in various capacities some of which include: 2004: Member, Presidential committee against Illegal arms and violent crimes 2005: Member, National Political Reform conference, Member Federal committee on 2006 census, 2005 - Leader of the Nigerian Delegation to the World Youth Summit in Venezuela. 2006: Non - Executive Director, Hadejiyah Jamaare River Basin, Kano – Federal ministry of Water Resources. He is the owner and non executive Director of Vintage Consolidated Ltd, a construction, building and Engineering company. He is also a trustee of many NGO’s. TONY NWOYE HAS WON ANAMBRA GUBER APPEAL TODAY NDI ANAMBRA ARISE, THE PEOPLES’ LIBERATOR HAS ARRIVED! Tony Nwoye is a social crusader and former President, National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS and remains a grassroots’ person. He is therefore a product of the liberation movements – agitating for a better society and befitting education. Under the rain, sun and harmattan he was/is there suffering and pushing for the betterment of the great Nigerian students and peoples’ oriented social order. He has through a well conducted gubernatorial primary by the national leadership of his party emerged the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP for the upcoming Anambra November 16th Governorship election. This has as already been validated by Court of Appeal. Notwithstanding the activities of the evil forces in our politics long holding Anambra people and their posterity down in power opprobrium and disrespect – a new dawn has come with the triumphant emergence of this ‘David’ against the ‘Goliaths’ calling for Pan Anambra liberation and transformation, irrespective of party and/or communal divides. Today, opportunity beckons on Ndị Anambra to elect Tony Nwoye next Governor of Anambra state comes November 16, 2013. Let’s vote for he who has laboured, suffered and experienced it all with the masses as “an activist-grassroots’ person with distinction”! Remember that ever before the dawn of the present democratic dispensation in 1999 till date that Anambra has had everything but democratic rule. Thus, we have little or nothing to show for the dividends of democracy. All because there has been a big disconnect between the so-called leaders and the lead. For this obvious fact, the grassroots i.e. workers and the masses – are taken for granted in Anambra state and not considered forces to be reckoned with. To the extent that men and women of ideas especially the young elements are neither taken into confidence, empowered to live a productive life nor given leadership posts in the peoples’ “Light of the Nation”. Whereas, in most states in Nigeria [even in Southeast], ideas rule that the youths especially young entrepreneurs and technocrats are not only empowered but are seen providing leadership. We have young governors, commissioners, legislators and so forth encouraged and making leadership every other place in Nigeria but not in Anambra state. Thus, from the menaces of Godfather politics to the present day milking of the state by friendship circle, we now have gross barriers between the so-called leaders and followers that no one asks for the grassroots impute anymore. Today the same masqueraders “Ndị Ntọ Politics” have regrouped, organizing and re-strategizing packaging and telling their old lies in new forms. Ndị Anambra Mba! Tụfịakwa! It is high time we said NO to Ndị Ntọ Politics. We should not allow ourselves to be divided, again, by their old tricks and new lies. Ndị Anambra, see in your mind's eyes, a situation whereby the constitutionally provided governance does not work in full in Anambra state to the extent that the third tier of government – Local Government system – has collapsed in our state: Starting with Dr. Chiwoke Mbadinuju [from 2002-end of tenure for all the elected LGA officials] to Dr. Chris Ngige’s three years governorship [2003-2006] and throughout Mr. Peter Obi’s APGA eight years rule does not augur well for our uniform development and transparent governance. Be it said: While LGA system, constitutional and transparent governance remain highly cherished for accountability governance and incorruptible service delivery. Not having them is condemnable and a heinous crime against the good people of Anambra state and can never be wished away by any wishful thinking or flimsy excuses! That somebody undemocratically and unaccountably ruled and spent LGAs allocations unevenly and un-transparently for a whole two terms. Also planned LGA election several times preparing, duping and impoverishing the aspirants several times only to slate doing it [tentatively in December 2013] at the eve of his departure is gross direct and indirect indictment of self and his party and acceptance of his party’s failure of governance. Yet we are hearing Continuity of the same party’s policies? Whereas, Local Government system, the nearest government to the grassroots and grassroots driven governance that brings about massive development and civilization has eluded Anambra people for a whole 11 locust years. We cannot allow ourselves fooled anymore by those laying claims to “continuity” or “experience” that never was. It all implies that there will not be constitutionally elected local government system and transparent governance, if either of those laying claims to ‘continuity’ and ‘experience’ that never was are elected - since it was not in their tradition to provide and/or have democratic LGA system, constitutional and transparent governance in place. Therefore, as it goes: “Fool me once, yours fool; fool me twice, mine”; it is instructive for the Anambra people to say A RESOUNDING NO to the leagues of those, in and out of power, who have denied us genuine democratic regime and its dividends including democratically elected local government [leadership] system. Arise, oh Anambra electorate! You should not allow them to fool you again with their old tricks and new lies no matter how they scheme using our stolen public funds attempting to buy your children’s children’s future and purchase your votes! Today, opportunity beckons on Ndi Anambra to elect Tony Nwoye as the next Governor of Anambra state comes November 16, 2013. Let’s vote he who has laboured, suffered and experienced it all with the masses as “an activist-grassroots’ person with distinction"! No matter how this Ndị Ntọ Politics re-garments their ‘old tricks’, ‘new lies’ and ‘cheap politics’, we must this time around stand firm to RECLAIM our Light of the Nation State ‘Anambra’ from their evil grips. Ndị Anambra, remember November 16, 2013 Anambra Governorship election falls on both Pa Nnamdi Azikiwe’s and Chinua Achebe’s birthday! Let’s use our votes to make a new beginning in constitutionalism and democratic alternatives in Anambra state building on our ancestors’ vision by voting-in Tony Nwoye for Anambra Governor 2014. Vote Comrade Tony Nwoye, Peoples Democratic Party candidate, for governor. Vote wisely for a change agent, social resurgence and accountability governance we dearly needed! Vote for Tony Nwoye! Vote for your children’s children! Ndị Anambra, arise! The peoples’ liberator has arrived! He is Comrade Tony Nwoye – Comrade forever! Onye Eze Nnọọ! To get leadership and democratic dividends right in Anambra State, be party to electing the history making governor by voting Tony Nwoye for governor come November 16th. Beware of Ndị Ntọ Politics! Let’s rebuild with good faith, integrity and intelligibility for grassroots driven leadership, economic revolution, transparent governance and service delivery. ANAMBRA GUBER ELECTION........TONY NWOYE IS STILL IN THE RACE Wisdom is our hammer, Prudence will be our nail for when men build lives from honest toil, courage never fails.St Paul wrote in the book of Corinthians 1:27b that God will use the weak things of this world to shame those that think they are strong Unlike most of the pretenders contesting the Guber election in the State, Comrade Tony Nwoye started his political career fighting for youths, students and women displaced, neglected and rendered invisible by insensitive Government Policies Tony Nwoye’s campaign was not hatched within the corridors of APGA’S Fidelity Banking hall, nor APC’s lagos. It was initiated by the middle class in the various communities in Anambra State, the Youths, Market Women, civil servants and courageous men and women left out and left behind by the present administration in the state,by Anambrarians who are tired of the present government and desire a genuine progress and sharp deviation from the failed policies of the last eight years of APGA’S Administration in Anambra State Anambrarians choose Comrade Tony Nwoye because they already knew that of all the Politicians that had contested elections in the State in the past and those still contesting in this present day, none is as courageous as Comrade Tony Nwoye. This calls for sober reflection amongst all of us. Every Child has a cross to carry for Jesus and every anambrarian has a duty to himself and our country in this coming election. What purpose will it serve the state to import a business partner of the state Government from his London office to govern the state, a man who has never been involved in the least microcosm political leadership training, who has confessed that he had to transfer his voters card from lagos to Anambra state (as he has even forgotten the state and registered at his adopted state..LAGOS) Again, what purpose will it serve to vote for a man whose means of political sponsorship is from the likes of Bola Tinubu and his agents that deported Anambrarians few months ago. If it is only on the strength of the west that we may have hope, then we are of all men most miserable. Have we forgotten so soon what the West did to Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe in 1951. Dr. Azikiwe contested and won the general elections in 1951 into the Western House of Assembly, then Chief Awolowo got some elected members to cross carpet from the NCNC to his AG side. Azikiwe the victor lost and was deported to the East. These are the same guys you think you can trust in 2013.The spirit of Ogbuefi Nnamdi Azikiwe will not spare us. APGA’S Willi Obiano and APC’S Chris Ngige have same thing in common, both have lineage with Lagos, either by voters card registration or by sponsorship. We cannot trust these guys. Mr Peter Obi betrayed both Ojukwu and Azikiwe when he imported Willi Obiano from lagos, the same Lagos state that Odumegwu Ojukwu fought in court to recover his father’s property which they failed to release to him till his death, what a mockery to the IKEMBA of Nnewi. This is the same Lagos state Mr Obi travelled to and imported Obiano (who registered to vote therein instead of in Anambra State).Be not deceived This explains why the likes of the Ubas and Ukachukwu had been dragging Tony Nwoye from one court to the other after he defeated them at the PDP Guber Congress Haven been rejected by both Anambrarians and the PDP, Mr Ukachukwu who ran to a Federal High court in Port-Harcourt to secure a judgement to foist himself on INEC to publish his name as the PDP Candidate of the state however made a sudden U-Turn securing a motion to delay an appeal court judgement against him with the intent of frustrating the campaign efforts of Comrade Tony Nwoye INEC which was merely following court ruling when the commission published Ukachukwu’s name will immediately delete same if the appeal court says otherwise next week As the state awaits the decision of the Supreme Court on the appeal of the PDP against Nicholas Ukachukwu coming up next week, we enjoy all the good people of Anambra State and the supporters of Comrade Tony Nwoye to be steadfast and faithful to this collective cause of positive change, a change we can all believe in The road may be tough and the challenges uncertain but Anabmbra we have never been more faithful that we will definitely get there. While we await the court decision on Comrade Tony Nwoye by next week, let us ask our selves these pertinent questions; WHY AM I REALLY IN THIS ELECTION? WHY ARE PETER OBI,NICHOLAS UKACHUKWU,ANDY UBA,ETC TRYING TO STOP COMRADE TONY NWOYE FROM CONTESTIING IN THIS ELECTION? IF THEY ARE TRYING TO STOP YOUNG COMRADE NWOYE FROM CONTESTING, DOES IT EXPLAIN SOMETHING TO YOU? IS IT MORALLY RIGHT TO STAMPEDE A SON OR DAUGHTER OF THIS GREAT STATE FROM CONTESTING GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION? WHAT IS YOUR CONCLUSION AND WHAT ACTIONS ARE YOU GOING TO TAKE TO ENSURE THAT JUSTICE IS DONE IN ANAMBRA STATE? As we ponder and reflect over these issues and also await the supreme court decision next week..When the story of this great struggle to return power to the grass-root is told to our children, sons and our grandsons what will they say about you? WHEN HIS STORY IS READ IN OUR SCHOOLS AND LIBRARES LET THEM SAY I LIVED IN THIS ERA OF GREAT GENERATIONAL CHALLENGE WHEN A FEW COURAGEOUS MEN AND WOMEN STOOD UP AGAINST A FAILED GOVERNMEMT AND BROKE DOWN THIS BERLIN WALL OF FAILED POLICIES OF MR PETER OBI AND CHASED AWAY YORUBA’S APC LET THEM ALSO SAY,I LIVED IN THE TIME OF TONY NWOYE Pharm Ikeagwunwu Chinedu Klinsmann (Jerusalem Pilgrim 2012) ICT AND COMMUNICATION UNIT TONY NWOYE CAMPAIGN ORGANISATION |
The persecution of Comrade Tony Nwoye - A gang-up against a generation One watches with utter dismay the events playing out in the arena of Anambra politics with respect to the upcoming governorship elections. Various positions have been adopted by different groups. Issues and non-issues are being thrown up by politicians in their usual style of trying to pull the wool over the eyes of the non-discerning members of the electorate. Claims of being ‘anointed’ candidates (by who?, I usually ask.) pervade the air. The APGA propaganda machinery is rife with these claims. The unfounded message they are spreading to the uninformed is that President Jonathan has a secret pact with Governor Peter Obi. That the Anambra Governorship seat has been reserved for any Obi’s crony (hence the shameless manner in which he foisted his puppet as the APGA flag bearer) as a payback for his support to the president. If we are to go by these outlandish claims, President Jonathan is now the Anambra electorate. A man who professes and practices the rule of law is now being cheaply characterized as a ‘break and conquer’ leader who has elected to sign away the rights and the freedom of choice of an entire state as a reward for an outgoing governor to whom he owes his seat and perhaps his very life. Believe that and you will believe anything!! Notice that I did not bother mentioning the name of the APGA candidate in the above paragraph as he is nothing more than a mere appendage of Governor Peter Obi whose only intent is to continue to call the shot in Anambra state albeit through a proxy. Ngige and his cohorts are reassuring their Arewa and Oduduwa paymasters in APC that they hold the title deed of Anambra state. They have successfully convinced them that all they need do is to roll out the cash and they will have this very important state that is a gateway to the South East region delivered to them on a platter. They have been going about boasting to all that this is a fait accompli. Anambra will be conscripted into the growing list of the radicalized opposition states that are threatening to make Nigeria inhabitable unless power is returned to the reactionary elements from the North and their co-travellers from the South West. They are unashamedly in bed with avowed enemies of Ndigbo who of recent have taken to taunting us with tales of how they murdered our heroes in the past and have demonstrated their commitment to dispossessing us of our assets and driving out of their areas in ignominy. Those are the characters to which Ngige and his promoters are in bed with! In the PDP, the combined forces of Andy Uba and Nicholas Ukachukwu are aligning with the afore-mentioned groups to make sure that the party does not field any candidate for the upcoming election. They have obviously gone into a pact with those threatening fire and brimstone should power not be returned to the feudalists that have held Nigeria hostage for the major part of our nationhood. They are leaving no stone unturned in this regard. From attempting to foist an illegal leadership on the party to organizing a kangaroo primary in which Andy emerged winner. From Ukachukwu dubiously compiling the delegates list with which the proper primary was conducted (and he was still beaten by miles!) to forging documents and running from one court to another in an attempt to delay justice. The sole aim of their two-pronged approach is to ensure that PDP’s duly nominated candidate in the person of comrade Tony Okey Nwoye is not allowed to participate actively in the election because of what this young man represents. Ordinarily one should not jump into the fray whenever politicians are slandering themselves in their quest to clinch power. But this is not the usual politicians’ fight. It is a battle for the continued dominance of Anambra politics by the same names that over the years have brought us nothing but pains and penury, ignorance and ignominy. The Ubas, the Ngiges, the Peter Obis, the Ukachukwus, the Annie Okonkwos are names that have monopolised Anambra politics over the years with nothing, absolutely nothing, to show for it. I am even more pained because the person that these forces are battling to suffocate and bully out of the race is the only one that represents the face of true change. He is the person that represents a real and genuine shift in the lever of power. Here is a true youth with a good head on his shoulders, ready to carry the banner of his generation in an epic confrontation with a generation synonymous with the purveyance of ignorance and perpetuation underdevelopment in our dear state. Our earnest prayers for a change of guard in the affairs of our dear state appears to have been answered by the emergence of this young man from the downtrodden generation. Tony represents the young, the masses, the women, the ordinary folks of our dear state whose lot it has been to bear the brunt of the bad leadership foisted on the hapless Anambra citizenry over the years. His emergence is a clear signal to the prime beneficiaries of the status quo that their time is up. It sent chills down their spine as these same folks that have stymied the growth and destiny of our state realized that indeed a new era is about to begin in our dear Anambra – an era of dynamic, vibrant and responsible leadership with a proven man of the people at the helm. An era in which the teeming youths of the state, with one of their own in-charge, will be enabled to take their destiny into their own hands so as to unleash the abundant potentials that members of the self-confessed ‘wasted generation’ have kept under lock and key for too long. An era that threatens to diminish the sphere of influence of the demigods of Anambra politics as the impoverished youths of the state whom they have recruited and placed on miserly pittances are about to be given opportunities to express themselves, determine their destiny and in so doing, re-write their history. This, in summary, is what the candidature of Tony Nwoye represents. This is what these agents of repression and generational discrimination are fighting to nip in the bud. The various machinations, scheming and abuse of court processes are geared to this one end – that the younger elements will never be allowed to pilot the affairs of the state. Tony Nwoye is a big threat to this grand conspiracy hence the multi-faceted gang up against him. But all progressive minded Anambrarians should rise up against these charlatans. All the youths of Anambra state should stand up to be counted. The women, the minorities and the oppressed should recognize this for what it truly is – an affront to their interest. They should all join hands and protest this gang-up against the candidature of Tony Nwoye. The young man does not boast of some deep war-chest with which to prosecute his election. He does not boast of connections in the high places. He does not have the well-oiled thuggery and rigging machinery that his adversaries boast of. All he has is his belief in his God, a belief in himself, a trust in his destiny and an unwavering faith in the ability of the youths and agents of progressive change in Anambra state to rise up and cast their lot with one of their own. All he is asking for is that he be allowed to go to the polls to square up with the self-styled ‘giants’ of Anambra politics and let the masses decide with their votes in a free and fair election. That is not too much to ask! All these procedural manipulations, delays and abuse of judicial processes being thrown up are geared towards limiting the choice of the electorate on the day. They want an election in which Tony Nwoye the only true game changer in the fray is not on the ballot paper. They want to narrow the choice of the masses to that between ‘six’ and ‘half-a-dozen’ for that is what a choice from amongst all these other gladiators represents. But let them be told that they are not God and for all their famed ability at manipulating the electoral process, they do not yet possess the ability to silence an idea whose time is now. Gang-up or ‘gang-down’, Tony Nwoye sure represents the Anambra masses’ date with destiny. Let the political gangsters be told. By Dr EKWUEME PETER C. - a medical doctor and a public affairs analyst. WILLI OBIANO’S DOUBLE VOTERS CARD....MORE REVELATION( INEC TO DSIQUALIFY OBIANO PART 3) There have been uneasy calm and confusion in APGA camp since the divine revealation of Willi Obiano’s double standard with respect to voters card registeration. We have been religiously following the events and shall in due cause reveal more about this scandal. We have also been watching very carefully every move and steps taken by the prior mentioned actors in this game of shame. We want to warn that they all should desist from their desperate attempts to alter the records and impede on the wheel of justice. Meanwhile, we have read and carefully understudy the undelying lmisinformtion from the DG of the Willi Obiano Campaign orgainsation decribing this revelation as a mere ‘speculative internet rumor’. His role as the DG accords him that basic responsibility to react against (and not for) such a revelation,so this is understandable. Also, we do not expect Prof. Onukogu the INEC Anambra state Commissioner to accept any knowledge of such scandal even when he may have been a part in the whole process of the deal. The recods are there and would be made public in due cause. Matter of factly, however,a clear and non deletable record of Willie Obiano double registeration both at Lagos and Anambra. State still exist. Even if we assume without conceding that –Willie Obiano did voter’s card transfer from Lagos to Anambra as his media aides want us to believe , the pertinent question that begs or that will beg for an answer later on are; What variables remain constant when a voter’s Record is transfered from one location to another? Does the transfer of record from lagos to Anambra affect the Vin Number? Does the transfer of Voters record affect the Date of Registeration of the Voter? We know without doubt that the essence of voters register transfer is to among others things enable the voter carry out his/her electoral duties at the new place of domicile. We also know that as at the time of Political Parties screening (APGA inclusive) that voter register update has not resumed in Anambra State. Therefore,we would like the legal and APGA think-tanks to deliberate on this questions before they come out to feed us with another watery lies or waving an incontractible evidence as a ‘mere media rumour’. Few further questions though: Which voter card did Willi Obiano present during the APGA screening Panel in Auguts 16, 2103? Has he succesfully transfered his voters record from Lagos to Anambra before then? Why was Obazie disqualifed from participating in the primaries? Our available records show that Willie Obiano’s Anambra record was issued to him on Sept 3 2013 as against the Lagos registeration of 2010 with the following VIN number 90fb***************332. That he did his registeration at Ramot Oluwakemi Seinab street, Ifako Soluyi Ward in Kosefo LGA of Lagos State. We have noted the differences in the Voters VIN Number. We await INEC to answer our question on the variables that change when a voters record is transfered from One location to another. We are constrained from publishing the full details of the two Voters record in our possesion until we conclude all our inquires and clear grey areas, However, we carefully chose to reveal some part of the information so that Uzodike and Obiano himself will know that this is not an ‘internet rumor’ as they presupposes. We frown at Guardian Newspaper’s mere call to Prof Onukogu and their subsequent acceptance of his outright denial, a thorough investigative jouranlism is expected from them and other media Houses. We therefore challenge all the political parties, Human rights bodies and the Press to use the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act to obtain the records both from INEC (Lagos and Anambra) and APGA to present the Voters Information that Willie Obiano presented during the screening excercise . We are amused at further desperate moves by Peter Obi to alter or delete this record, this we know is an effort in futility. Consequently, we call on the Lagos State Government to cautiously monitor the IT department of LASIEC against inflitration. Obvioulsy, it is foolhardy for APGA and Mr Peter Obi to continue to parade a man who has violated an Electoral Act –a criminal offence as their candidate instead of shopping for a new candidate because no matter how long they try to delay the cause of Justice, Mr Willie Obiano must defintely face the wrath of the Law. Let them not be like the proverbial fly that follows the smell of the corpse to the grave. Finally, we call on Ndi Anambra and all supporters to take this revealation seriously and make very wise use of their vote. Dr Nnamdi Jepheth Umeasiegbu HUMAN RIGHTS AND ELECTORAL WATCH AWKA |
NICHOLAS UKACHUKWU’S LIES AND HOW HE HAS BEEN SABOTAGING PDP IN ANAMBRA STATE Those who dance to the music of surugede must be told that surugede is a dance of the spirits. I don’t indulge in name callings to score cheap political points, I address and discuss issues and not individuals, therefore I must go straight to the point Nicholas Ukachukwu’s press interview published by Thisday Newspaper and dated 13th Oct, 2013 was decorated with cans of lies, crocodile cries and shadow hunting with a deliberate undertone to deceive Nigerians and the good people of Anambra State. If such audacity of lies and deceits are left un-checked and if we continue to teach our children about tolerance and intolerance in Anambra State instead of good and evil, truth and lies, we may end up with TOLERANCE OF LIES People have a right to know the truth and the right to correct information to enable them defend themselves against lies and falsehood.Mr Ukachukwu started his chronicle of lies in Paragraph one by saying he has never lost any election in Anambra State. This is indeed a white lie. It is a truth in the reverse; it is the other way round.Mr Ukachukwu has never won any election in Anambra State. We all live in Anambra State and we all know that the Ukachukwu’s are synonymous with failure. He lost a Senatorial election in 2003,lost again in 2007.Then in 2009/2010,he ran for Governorship primary of PDP and lost to Prof Soludo then ran away to contest the same Governorship under Hope Democratic Party and lost again. In 2011, he made another attempt at the Senate and lost to Andy Uba.Then recently on the 24th of August 2013, he contested another Guber primary and lost to Comrade Tony Nwoye. In Conclusion, he lost in 2003,2007,2010,2011 and in 2013.So why these lies Mr Ukachukwu, the records are there Mr. Ukachukwu went on in the second paragraph to accuse the NWC of PDP for organizing a primary election that was not transparent. My question to Mr. Ukachukwu is this, Why didn’t you walk out of the Primary? This is another great lie. The NWC organized a free and transparent Congress but Mr Ukachukwu himself started rigging by changing the names of delegates that won the delegates Primary. I won my delegate primary election at Dunukofia LGA but Ukachukwu and his team attempted to change the result en-route to Abuja. Mr. Ukachukwu accused some aspirants of hiring thugs during the Congress but it was thugs from Ukachukwu’s home town Osumenyi that were implicated in the stampede of party stalwarts at the Marble Arch Hotel at the second round of the delegates’ election. It was these same thugs that came to the Women center, Awka to chase delegates away. Some of the delegate tags got lost and were stolen by Ukachukwu’s boys from Osumenyi. I was there as a delegate and we saw him Ukachukwu when he sneaked into the Women Center until he was controlled by some members of the Nigerian Police that were on ground to enforce security In trying to draw sympathy for himself for going to court to rig-in himself as the PDP Candidate, Mr Ukachukwu claimed that there are irregularities in Comrade Tony Nwoye’s Tax and argued that he did not pay tax as at when due, what a shame. If Ukachukwu has any case against Comrade Tony Nwoye, why didn’t he petition PDP or go to court before the Primary? For a Man that went ahead and contested an election and lost as he has been losing all these years to suddenly realize that Comrade Tony Nwoye who defeated him at the Party primary has irregularities with his tax and then went to court to declare himself a winner is an act of Cowardice.Ukachukwu’s Lawyers absconded from the appeal court last week Tuesday and when the court wanted to give their judgment last week Friday, this same UKACHUKWU ran to Supreme Court crying that the Appeal Court Judges were bias and got a motion to stop the judgment of the Appeal Court, what an shameful somersault .Mr Ukachukwu, we are not children. If Comrade Tony Nwoye allowed the court to give their judgment that gave you a favorable outcome last month without running to the Supreme Court to stop it, Mr Ukachukwu why then do you have to run to the Supreme Court to stop PDP’s Appeal against you? This is the crescendo of Cowardice and desperation we have seen in Anambra State. This is what our founding fathers were afraid of and exactly what our constitution was designed to prevent On the issue of helping Mr Peter Obi win election in the state against our Party PDP is the only truth in Nicholas Ukachukwu’s interview. Thank God the leader of our Party Dr Goodluck Jonathan, the National Chairman Bamanga Tukur and the NWC read his shameful confession. We all knew that Mr Ukachukwu had been sabotaging PDP in Anambra State and helping Mr Peter Ob to win in the state against PDP candidates. This explains and made perfect sense why APGA won some of the seats in the State House of Assembly because an Ukachukwu sponsored some of them against PDP candidates. Now, he is asking Mr Obi who outsmarted him to throw up Willi Obiano to support him. How can PDP nominate a Saboteur like Ukachukwu as their candidate in Anambra State? This of course is impossible as our Party has now realized it is Ukachukwu that had been dinning with APGA against the PDP in Anambra State. Thank you Jehovah, More truth will come out soon. Comrade Tony Nwoye is a thousand leagues ahead of Nicholas Ukachukwu. Even with limited funds to fight against big names like Ukachukwu and the Ubas, he defeated them all, sending a strong message to the country that THE AGE OF MONEY POLITICS IS LONG GONE IN ANAMBRA STATE.Insead of burying his head in shame, Mr Ukachukwu goes across the pages of Newspapers joining issues with Tony Nwoye who of course ignored him distraction antics Every Child on the street of Anambra State knows that Comrade Tony Nwoye will win the next Guber election in the state. Anambra loves Comrade Tony Nwoye because he is one of them, identifies with them, understands their needs and shares their ideals Like I mentioned earlier, I don’t encourage character assassination, I discuss issues and policies and not individuals but because Anambra state must know the truth, we need to call a spade exactly what it is, A SPADE. The People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Comrade Tony Nwoye and Mr Nicholas Ukachukwu are in court and by the grace of God, light must overcome darkness and truth must prevail Pharm Ikeagwuonwu Chinedu Klinsmann (B.Pharm, MPH, MFIP, MPSN, JP) ICT AND COMMUNICATION UNIT TONY NWOYE CAMPAIGN ORGANISATION |
MORE NEWS AND KEY PLAYERS ON THE WILLI OBIANO DOUBLE VOTERS CARD REGISTERATION SCANDAL Sebsequent upon recent investigations, more information has emerged on the Willi Obiano fraudlent double voters registration at Lagos and his country home Aguleri Few hours ago when the bubble bursted on APGA,the state Government intensified more efforts to delete Willi Obiano’s voters registration at Aguleri A former disgraced INEC Lawyer (Now `working for APGA,),Barr Ejisieme Alex aka Obodo G has been used as the ‘’MR FIX IT’’ by the state government to ensure that INEC deletes Obiano’s Aguleri Voters card. The sum of 500 Million Naira was given to Barr Ejisieme Obodo G to cary out the hatchet job of ensuring that Mr Ahanotu Chidi the ICT Unit head of INEC in Anambra state deletes Obiano’s name from the Aguleri register When Mr Chidi Ahanotu developed cold feets on the matter, the state Government mandated Barr Ejisieme to contact one Mr Nsofor, Electoral Officer (EO) Anambra East LGA.Part of the plans being considered by APGA was to bribe Mr Chidi to delete the Aguleri Voters card and then transfer the Lagos Voters information to the State.Another option was to transfer the Lagos voters info to Aguleri and either deletes the previous info or claim there was a machine malfuncton While thy were considering the options, information came that it would be easier to approach INEC office at Abuja to do the alteration.Barr Ejisieme Obodo G,then abandoned the Awka INEC Office and flew to Abuja while asking Mr Ahanotu Chidi to keep the deal secret On reaching Abuja,Barr Ejisieme and some top APGA Stalwarts on Mr Peter Obi’s instruction went straight to see one Mr Chidi Nwafor,a Director with INEC and head of the ICT Unit at Abuja to delete one of the Voters Card of Willi Obiano.Mr Chidi Nwafor instead opted out to instruct the ICT Unit at Awka headed by Mr Chidi Ahanotu to delete the Aguleri voters information. But unfortunately for the APGA crew, the Awka Unit informed Abuja that the scandal has already leaked to the Press. On hearing this,Mr Chidi Nwafor washed his hands off the scandal and asked the APGA team to return to Anambra State In a last minute desperate move to cover-up this fraud at all cost.Anambra State Government employed every arsenal to co-opt the state Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) Prof Onukogu to assist in deleting one of the voters cards. Mr Willi Obiano immediately sent a letter to the REC Prof Onukogu to pressurise the ICT unit head at Abuja Mr Chidi Nwafor to delete his Aguleri’s registration at the Abuja office while Mr Chidi Ahanotu assured Obiano that immediately Prof Onukogu succeeds at influencing Abuja, that their Unit will delete every data on his double registration The implication of this scandal is that INEC will definitely disqualify Willi Obiano for fraud and electoral offenses as cotained in Nigerian Electoral Act and APGA may have to nominate another candidate Dr Nnamdi Jepheth Umeasiegbu HUMAN RIGHTS AND ELECTORAL WATCH AWKA |
