Esther Ijeoma Okoronkwo was born in Abia State, Nigeria, but her family moved to the United States when she was a child and she grew up in Richmomd, Texas.

Esther Okoronkwo has played in France, Spain and China and she has scored important goals for the Super Falcons, but unfortunately she has also suffered from serious injury which kept her out of the game for a long time.

She scored a lot of important goals that helped her team, AFC Toronto, to win the 2025 regular season of the Canadian Northern Super League. She also scored a brilliant freekick in the semi-final of the playoff, but unfortunately her team lost the final.

She made her debut for Nigeria in 2021 and she was voted Fans Player of the Tournament after the 2024 Women's African Cup of Nations.

She recently returned to Abia State and visited Governor Alex Otti.
