🤣 Someone once said that there will always be war if you put two Nigerians in a room. He said that there will still be war if it's only one Nigerian in a room.

Nigerians love to argue and will never agree on anything.

The fact that there is one form of classification does not negate another form of classification.

You have the internet age and therefore you have the internet generation, but that does not erase the fact that you also have the MTV generation, it doesn't erase the fact that you have the Indomie generation and it doesn't erase the fact that you have millenials.

People just like arguing over nothing.

Who came up with this classifications grin
Samunique:
Pls shed more light on this?
reservd:
What are the criteria that determines a generation?
A generation is basically all the people born and living within a particular period of time.

Generations are usually categorised by signifcant events or things that are common to people born or living within this period of time, for example, in Nigeria, people talk about the Indomie Generation, by which they mean people that were fed with Indomie Noodles when they were babies or toddlers.

The generations listed on the first post are categorised based on major global events, for example, World War 2 was a major global conflict that affected nearly every single part of the planet. Nigerian soldiers fought in World War 2, as did soldiers from many countries around the world. Babies that were born immediately after World War 2 are called Baby Boomers.

The Gregorian Calendar is used in most countries around the world. A third millenium began (according to the Gregorian Calendar) in the Year 2000. People that became adults in or around the Year 2000 are known as Millenials.

Nice one
I think it's the other way round. It had already been said on New Year's Day that President Tinubu was going to visit many states and Peter Obi simply copied the statement.

Governor Abdulrahman said it at the 2:34 to 3:30 minute mark in this video.

And you can see that President Tinubu initially said it (and talked about this visit to Enugu) here (read the third picture)

I thought that Governor Abdulrazak said that he would visit Enugu on the 5th? He said so when the governors visited Tinubu on New Year's Day.

Modified: OK, he actually said 4th.

Of course they had religious ceremonies! I would have also created that thread if Nairaland allowed me to create as many threads as I want.

Peter Ndubuisi Mbah @PNMbah

I'm delighted to share that His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT will pay a state visit to our beloved state tomorrow during which he will commission some of the transformative projects we've executed.

From the 30 completed and equipped Enugu Smart Green Schools out of the 260 under construction in the wards across our state, to the 60 completed Type 2 Primary Healthcare Centres out of the 260 under construction, these initiatives reflect our commitment to quality education and accessible healthcare for all. The completed multi-auditorium Enugu International Conference Centre, 90 urban roads, and our state-of-the-art Command and Control Centre with 150 patrol vehicles fitted with AI-embedded surveillance cameras are repositioning our state as a hub of progress, safety, and opportunity.

The President's visit will be a milestone for us; a testament to our shared vision that is taking shape. We are excited to welcome Mr President to Enugu State.

⬆️ Is an example of why I don't take trolls seriously.

They made it clear that he was injected with his consent, but the troll is saying that it was without his consent.

The doctor was provided by the French Embassy, but the troll is blaming Nigeria.

How can anyone take them seriously?

jaxxy:
What was he coming to do in Nigeria in the first place?
He wasn't destined for Nigeria. He boarded the plane in another country (I believe it was in Chad), the plane made a stop over in Nigeria. He started misbehaving in Nigeria and the pilot decided that he was not going to fly with them (he was a risk to everybody on board), so he was deboarded.

Air France News Room @AFNewsRoom

Air France confirms that the crew of flight AF830 departing on December 30 from N'djamena (NDJ) to Paris (CDG) via Abuja (ABV) decided to disembark an unruly passenger in Abuja due to his behaviour on board which could have consequences for flight safety.

As he did not hold a visa for Nigeria, the company's teams, without waiting for the next Air France flight, tried their best to reroute the customer on other airlines, unfortunately without success.

The customer has been accommodated by the company in the international area of Abuja airport and boarded AF844 today to Paris CDG.

UPDATE:

Examined by a doctor and placed on a sedative, the unruly French national has finally boarded an Air France flight to CDG, Paris. I was physically present to witness his boarding at 10pm tonight, along with the very capable terminal head, Miriam Anosike who did a yeoman's job in this case, Ifueko Abdulmalik, and gallant men of the Nigeria Immigration Service.

I must mention that the Immigration Commander at the airport, Mr. Agada was very cooperative. His willingness to collaborate with Miriam was the glue that held all of this together.

We advised the airline to let the cabin crew have some of the administered sedatives in case the passenger displays any disruptive behaviour during the course of the flight.

Kudos to both the NCAA, Nigeria Immigration Service, and the Air France station manager who did an amazing job of attending to the passenger.

Eromosele @Lekkiobi

Great one Chief 👍🏿. I want to also advise you check out the legality of administering drugs like sedatives on anyone without their permission. I believe them being unruly should make administering it not an issue, but also I feel u should still look at it in case sha
