If this is how the events wen then there is justifiable cause for him to have been arrrested. The guy should shut up in that case.
His grouse is that:

1) The police invited him and investigated him for one week. They also arrested his driver. They discovered that the driver lied to him, so they released him after a week.

However, Governor El-Rufai got the police to arrest him again. This time they didn't invite him, they suddenly came to Lagos and took him to Kaduna.

2) He says that El-Rufai got a lot of people arrested in this way, so he shouldn't complain if he is arrested in the same way.

Keep quoting me.
From, "You didn't include Obi's message" to "Why not put his picture". Only God knows what the next story will be.

People that have eyes saw that I posted Obi's message and people that have brains know that I posted the photos that the people attached to their messages.

I believe religion has done more harm than good in this country.

However, you mentioned Obi and yet you didn't include Obi's message.
Ladies and gentlemen, here is an example of the people that I often talk about. He said that I didn't include Obi's message.

Can you imagine that?

Audu Maikori is the founder of Chocolate City Records. The record company has had famous Nigerian artistes like M.I. Abaga, Ice Prince Zamani, Jesse Jagz, Ckay, Nosa and the Kenyan Victoria Kimani on its roster.

He is a lawyer and he is from Southern Kaduna.

Audu Maikori was a supporter of President Goodluck Jonathan and the PDP and he had many clashes with the El-Rufai administration in Kaduna over the violence in Southern Kaduna.

He tweeted that his driver's younger brother and several other students of a college of education in Kaduna had been killed by herders. The Kaduna State Government and the college refuted the allegation.

Audu Maikori then investigated his driver who told him the story. The driver insisted that the story was true. However, after being threatened with arrest at the police station, the driver admitted that the story was not true. He said that he knew that Audu Maikori was an advocate for the people of Southern Kaduna and he thought that he could get money from him for his brother's funeral. He assumed that Audu Maikori would not investigate the story.

Audu Maikori deleted the tweet and posted an apology to the school and the people of Kaduna.

However, the Kaduna State Government petitioned the police to arrest Audu Maikori. He was in Lagos, but he was arrested by policemen from Kaduna.

As the holy month begins, I want to personally wish all Muslim faithful in Lagos a time filled with peace and reflection.

For many of us, this is a period to slow down, reconnect with what matters most, and support those in our communities who may be facing challenges.

I pray that the weeks ahead bring you strength, clarity, and abundant blessings. Let us continue to keep one another in our prayers.

Today, Ash Wednesday invites us into a sacred rhythm — a moment to pause, look inward, and realign our hearts with God. It is a call to humility, reflection, and a deeper walk of faith.

As we begin this Lenten journey, may we find grace in the quiet moments, strength in sincere reflection, and renewal in the gentle spaces where God meets us most tenderly. May this season refine us, soften our hearts, and draw us closer to His purpose for our lives.

May the ashes remind us not only of our frailty, but of the enduring mercy that renews us daily.

Wishing all Christian faithful a meaningful and grace-filled Lent.

I warmly felicitate with the Muslim Ummah in Imo State, across Nigeria, and indeed around the world, as they commence the sacred month of Ramadan. It is truly remarkable that Muslims are beginning the Holy month of Ramadan on the same day that Christians commence the solemn season of Lent.

This convergence, with both periods sharing enduring virtues of fasting, prayer, sacrifice, and charity, is not a mere coincidence but divinely ordained, an opportunity for us all to collectively reflect on our actions and inactions as a people.

As our Muslim brothers and sisters embark on this spiritual journey, I pray that God grants us the grace to spread the compassion, generosity, peace, and self-discipline that define this holy season throughout our society, strengthening our unity and deepening our shared humanity.

I join Christians in Imo State, Nigeria, and across the world as we commemorate Ash Wednesday, marking the solemn beginning of the 2026 Lenten season in accordance with Christian doctrine. This sacred season not only affords us the opportunity to “reflect deeply on our lives and renew our commitment to God,” but also serves as a period of “repentance, sacrifice, and spiritual rededication.”

As we journey through this sacred period, I pray that God, in His infinite mercy, will continue to guide our noble paths and grant us the enablement to live in accordance with the solemn demands of the season. May He strengthen us to extend its enduring virtues of love, humility, selflessness, and compassion into our society, so that our collective witness may inspire hope, unity, and positive transformation in our communities.

A Rare Spiritual Convergence to Cherish and Revere

Today, Wednesday, February 18, 2026, marks a moment of extraordinary spiritual convergence in Nigeria — a nation richly blessed by God with abundant resources, yet long hindered by poor leadership. For the first time in many years, the Christian season of Lent and the Muslim holy month of Ramadan begin on the same day.

This rare coincidence is far more than a meeting of dates; it is a powerful symbol of shared sacrifice, reflection, and the possibility of national renewal at a time when our collective identity has been strained by ineffective governance. It is striking that both sacred seasons are marked by fasting, prayer, and thanksgiving. We may therefore see this convergence as what might fittingly be called a “Double Fast” — a divine invitation to transcend our differences and rediscover our shared humanity.

As millions of Nigerians — Christians and Muslims alike, from North to South — abstain from food and drink, or devote themselves to forty days of penance and prayer, we are united in a single purpose: to seek the mercy of the Almighty for the healing of our land.

This rare coincidence, this shared season of fasting, calls for intensified prayer against the insecurity and economic hardship confronting our country. But prayer alone is not enough; it must be paired with action. It urges us toward charity for the vulnerable, forgiveness of one another, and the self-discipline both faiths commend. Many will rightly see this period as a necessary spiritual reset for our troubled nation.

Let this season become a time of deep spiritual engagement. May our hunger remind us of our neighbours’ suffering, and may our prayers stand as a shield over our nation. May our sacrifices be accepted, and may this unique alignment usher in a lasting era of peace and unity across Nigeria.

A Holy Lent and Ramadan Kareem to all. With our prayers and shared resolve, a New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Tinubu, Kwankwaso, Obi Others Greet Nigerians At Beginning Of Lent And Ramadan

With profound reverence to God Almighty, I greet the Christian and Muslim faithful on the solemn occasions of Lent and Ramadan.

This year, Lent and Ramadan begin on the same day. This is not a common occurrence, and it reminds us that as a people of faith, we share a lot in common and are one people under God.

For Christians, the Lenten season is a time for fasting, abstinence, and penitence, following Jesus Christ's example in the wilderness before His crucifixion, which brought salvation to mankind.

For Muslims, Ramadan is a hallowed season that reflects total submission to God Almighty and His command of sacrifice, devotion, service, and communal love and giving. It marks one of the five pillars of Islam. Beyond the obligatory fasting, Ramadan calls for deep spiritual reflection in obedience to Islam's injunctions.

As a nation and as a people, I urge us, as we embark on these important observances, to ensure good neighbourliness, promote peace, unity, and stability, and pray for the progress and security of our nation.

Let us live by the good precepts of our faiths and be honourable in our duty to God and fellow humans.

I pray that the lessons, blessings, and joys of these sacred seasons abide with us always.
