After the grand reception, I, alongside the Chairman, South East Governor’s Forum, Gov. @Hope_Uzodimma1 and the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. @PNMbah proceeded to a meeting with the Igbo Business Community in Lagos.

The meeting provided a platform to discuss key challenges facing the Community and the possible solutions to address them.

A remarkable evening in Lagos State as I and other leaders of the National Assembly attended the grand welcome reception hosted by the Lagos State Government and the Nigerian Governors Forum in honour of Mr President, @officialABAT.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of attending the welcome reception to mark President @officialABAT’s first official visit to Lagos State to celebrate Eid-el-Kabir, held at Marina House, Lagos, organized by the Lagos State Government in collaboration with the Nigerian Governors Forum.

We had discussion on diverse national issues at the forum and as we joined Mr President in celebration of Eid Al Adha, he reassured of his commitment to the "Renewed Hope" project for the benefit of all.

This evening at Enugu State Government House, I had the pleasure of receiving the British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Dr. Richard Montgomery. We had a great time interacting on better ways to partner and to ensure the growth of our dear state's economy.

I seized the moment to emphasize the need for technical assistance and support, and also called for the restoration of the UK visa facilitation centre in Enugu State, to boost trade, business, and other relationships between the UK and our state.

It was an honour & pleasure to meet @PNMbah in #Enugu, especially to discuss better collaboration on attracting investment, boosting trade and creating more economic opportunities. Lots of ideas to follow-up.
