thanks for the reply. Are you currently on an elective study or do you know someone who is? I have checked the websites of various hospitals and it looks like australia is really expensive. Most medical schools request for tuition fee during electives which is free in majority of UK hospitals. Adelaide seems reasonable and affordable although I haven't checked other places like newcastle and perth. Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane are no-go areas.
I hope I finally find somewhere soon.

No I don't know anyone currently undertaking medical elective study. But have a look at this website: http://medicine.unimelb.edu.au/study/clinical-electives it has the contact info for all hospital offering medical elective study in Melbourne. I can vouch for Melbourne to be cheaper to live and easier to find accommodation than any other city in Australia.

Hi everyone, I have a degree in Business Information Technology from one of the Uk universities. I have about 2 years experience 313214 TELECOMMUNICATIONS TECHNICAL OFFICER OR TECHNOLOGIST working with an ISP company. Then I have about 4 years experience as an ICT business analyst. I have got the minimum score to apply for evaluation but I'm thinking of going through EA since it is faster than ACS. Now my doubt is if I will get a positive result from EA since my degree is not an Engineering degree. Though some of the courses I did while in school relates with the roles of the Telecom Tech Officer above. Please expert in the house advise. Johnstade, ferma..., sir bellong and other experts.

Your sure bet is to go through ACS.

Yes it is possible. But you are better off applying for a 2 years Masters Degree in Information Technology. Most of the programs would take any Bachelors Degree for admission

Someone posted about medical electives sometime ago. I just want to know about the prospects of doing a four-week elective posting in an Australian hospital and if it is possible. I have an option of doing in the UK butI wouldn't mind travelling to the other end of the world because I love adventure. Another important factor is the funds. I need to compare the cost of living in Australia with UK (cities like Birmimgham, Manchester, or Glasgow).. please what is the living cost in Australia for a month? How much would I need to plan the trip(flight ticket + visa + living cost) Please can anyone should help me with this? Thank you

Depends on the city. Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane won't cost a fortune...

Yes, it is okay to type in the form. But you must use a pen to sign at the end of the form...

Other documents: eCOE, Birth Certificate, Bsc certificate, Aptech certificate, NECO certificate, Secondary school testimonial, statement of purpose and copy of all pages of your international passport..

ferdimako: Okay.You really didn't stress too much. I don't know if a testimonial and Transcript will suffice. My school headquarters in Lagos and when I storm lagos, I should know what I can get if my study center won't be able to help on time.

Can you get an official statement of results from your school with a letter to back it up....

ferdimako: Okay but my concern is just my B.Sc award cert and Transcript that may not be ready till October.Even my school knows about them but will sight them when I land. I don't know if the Embassy will work with the unofficial ones.Because originals should be ready in October.

Wait till the original certificate is ready... Although, I didn't add my transcripts along with visa application documents.. but I provided a notarised copy of my Bsc Certificate...
