It baffles me that when issues of corruption and their perpetrators are discussed some docile and emotional Nigerians defend these looters.

When DSP Alameyiesigha's case was mentioned, some people lamented that he was a victim of PMB's vicious anti-corruption war.
Whenever Saraki's case is mentioned, some people will decry political witch-hunt.
On Allison madueke's case some people are defending her, asserting that she is innocent of the corruption cases levied against her.

So then, if these people and others are innocent and carried out their duties in a satisfactory manner why are we complaining of hardship?

I think we all are the architects of our own problem .

We need a concerted effort to dislodge these greedy politicians and looters of our patrimony.

Let us all eschew bias and accept the fact that these politicians don't have us at heart and that we have been impoverished
and turned to beggars in our own country.
