Guy, Though i don't deal on Nigerian used cars, i have contacts that do. Seems like you stay in PH too. So, hit me so we can arrange you something real good. Nat |
^^^Piedpiper, As a dealer, you should know that a lot of things dictate the price of used cars. I buy cars nobody can fault. That is just my tradition and style. I don't buy cars that need any kind of touching. And it has been working for me. 200K less will put the pathfinder at 1.55M. Please, if you can sell me the same car and trim for the same amount, i will gladly buy from you and not bother buying from the states. And trust me, i will still make profit from it because i have sold quite some of these vehicles down here. Thanks. Nat |

I wish him well. I have always admired this great mind. Kpele o! |
I actually went to the blog and read everything! I think we are all hooked because the story tells about the lives of most of us here in Nairaland. Obviously, Bose is a Nigerian resident in the US. It only takes such to know the inside story of most naija men surviving in Yankee. The story is a very thoughtful combination of bits and pieces of real life experiences of many Nigerians in the US. Ride on Bose! You need to go out, you are spending too much time in the house- Ask Tunde and your husband's wife to take you out. Go to Walmart, go see a movie, you sure will see more strange things to tell us. Get us some more fun. We can't wait. |
A work of fiction but a good one nonetheless. I am loving it. |
I agree with you. A senator living in an Apo qtrs would love to get a swimming pool he can take to his own house when he is voted out. For these kind of people and a few others, you have got a market albeit small. You should increase the price for those senators anyway! The dough gotta go somewhere, u know. Little wonder the CBN governor cried foul about their jumbo expenses and pay. I also agree with you on the fact that the pools are quite pretty. Happy sales. |
Give it to the boys. The've done well! Barca? Ehyaaaa! This is not Real Madrid. |
Actually, i am not an agent. I just buy/sell and develop plots in abuja. The agents here can surely get you a good plot in Lugbe or like areas- dutse Alhaji etc. Note that you will need to verify what type of buildings are ''allowed'' by law in the area you intend to purchase and develop. For example, most Lugbe plots are bungalow plots. Though some 1 storey building are beginning to spring up, i don't think the development laws allow it. For Karu, the last time i checked, the average plot goes from 6M upwards. I just got one 2200m2 (not really sure its up to that!) for 12M. I went there with the hope of grabbing smth for like 4M but i was sorely disappointed. But Karu is a nice place to build at. The rent there is simply crazy for a suburb! Go look up those at Lugbe for the price bracket you set. I will go with Lugbe against Nyanya anytime. If you are not in naija and you need help from a reliable agent, i can offer you my friend agent. Good luck. |
Even at that! Do you have an idea what 65000USD can buy! I believe the catch here is the portability and from the pictures, they don't look that ''portable'' per se. There is still some amount of work and considerable cost to be put in when taking the pool with you. With $65K (about N10m), you can afford to build a reasonable house and the issue of taking pools with you will be over! Get my drift? I think, for this to make sense to a house renter, it should be priced far lower. Just my thinking. So, how negotiable are these quotes? |
Poster, On a serious note, i think the property is over-priced for its location and building quality. 20M will almost tidy up a good looking 1-storey building in Woji. Think about it. Just my advice. |
Please, where is NUT headquarters? Thanks Nat |
Na wa o. This property still dey? E be like say e no easy to fling props for PH. |
Hmmmn, lemme think. 1000m2 for 3M. My closest bet will be Lugbe environs. Not sure if it will be able to get you a buildable plot shaa. Anything closer to town will definitely be far more expensive. Just in case, i have a 1000m2 in Jahi. Actually, this can be said to be in town. It goes for 16M and it has the new c of o. Nat |
Yes o. This V6 myth has impeded a lot of car sales. You must educate the brainwashed buyers before they see the light. True, the only thing wrong with em is our roadside mechanics. |

Only if you can bear the whatever burden of their seperation! If you like your friend, advice the wife instead! But then don't eat her food again when you go to their house! |
Na wa o! What is the place of love in this relationship? Isn't real love supposed to be supportive and ''blind''? Now for proper naija sense. If na me, i go bone the girl continue dey find work. Wen i get beta work, me go look for beta girl join. Dis kain chic wey no wan marry ur friend sake of say im no hol. Na beta girl be dat? What if ur guy coins emaciate tomorrow, dis kain girl no go remove leave am? Abeg, leave mata for mathaias. How many people get better job for naija now sef. Abi una no dey hear of minimun wage eh? Una think say na for newspaper e dey exist? |
Nice expose'. Girls, now that you know us real well, can we co-exist happily ever after? |
