Politics / Re: Ekiti Leads In IGR Growth Rate by NaughtyBrainiac: 11:30pm On Aug 13
This same IGR for a particular state was increased by about 6Billion by a Predecessor, and one Fraud of a man took over for 8 years and increased it by only 1B, he left office and another Governor entered and increased it by about 8 Billion.

Na that same man dem dey package for us as the best man for the job.

Thunder go fire all of una.

I am not pleased with what Tinubu has done so far, but I would still prefer an Atiku to that scam of a man.

Politics / Re: Bode George To FG: Giving Nigerians Palliatives Doesn't Make Any Economic Sense by NaughtyBrainiac: 1:04pm On Aug 09
I detest the idea of palliatives so much.

Palliatives seem to me as backwardness.

Imagine giving a household 1 bag of rice. They will finish it and Hardship continues. That's because they will continue to buy rice at around 80k per bag.

I also detest the noise around minimum wage. That's because the current minimum wage of 70k cannot purchase what the minimum wage of 30k could purchase.

Even if the FG doesn't reverse subsidy removal, That Naira floating policy must be looked into. Else, we never see anything yet o.

Travel / Re: Nigerian Family Faces Deportation From Canada Over Fake Admission Letter by NaughtyBrainiac: 9:32pm On Aug 03
Raskimonojendor:

She did not attend the school that was on the admission letter. She applied to another school inside Canada, gained admission, and continued her studies with the existing student visa.

The law is usually slow abroad but it eventually catches up. They could not detect at time of visa application that the admission letter was fake but gave her the visa on balance of probabilities while the background checks continued.

The agent knew what they did. They used the Winnipeg admission for visa application. I.e. Ease of application and increase the chance of the client obtaining a visa. The chances of her getting admission for a diploma course in Canada is slim, especially after she had already completed a degree (higher qualification) in Nigeria.

Thank you.

How then did she Apply and get a visa with a fake Admission letter? Don't they have a CAS number like they have in the UK?

If the CAS number is fake, there is no way she'd get a visa.

She went to a different school on arrival, so she never attended the school with fake acceptance letter, she only used it for visa

Read the story. She came to the country with a different school which had the fake letter. She later got another school and got her degree from the new school. The issue now is the one that gave her the entry visa was based on a fake letter from a fraudulent agent.

Thank you.

I don't understand these Canadian schools. How will someone gain admission, enrol, attend lectures, write exams and graduate without you detecting at any point that it's fake admission?

Politics / Re: 24 Hours To Hunger Protest, Steps FG Has Taken To Stop Demonstration (Full List) by NaughtyBrainiac: 1:24pm On Jul 31
I am a Supporter of BAT and I fully support everyone that intends to come out to protest peacefully.

No matter the hardship an average Nigerian goes through, people in Governemnet can NEVER understand the extent of hardship. This is because they are spending public money. It is ONLY a protest like this that can make them understand how bad things are.

As much as I have fate in BAT, I still strongly believe that he could do better than this. Better in the aspect of finding sustainable ways to ease hardship while we work on securing the future of Nigeria and Nigerians. It is paramount that Nigerians want to survive first, na perosn wey survive today go dey hope for bright future.

All these palliatives are not sustainable in any way, it is just a waste of resources. Those 2 major policies of subsidy removal and Naira floating cannot work at the same time. One must be dropped.

God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Wait o, caption says this was distributed by the CP. Is CP not commissioner of police?

Does the CP owe citizens any form of palliative?

Anything he gives them (no matter how small) is commendable.

I don't trust any of the parties. I admire Dangote a lot but Baba is just fighting for his own interest. Dangote has not helped my life or the life of an average Nigerian in anyway. He should stop sounding like he is doing the Nigerian populace a favour.

That statement he made about his friend advising him not to invest in Nigeria infuriates me till today. Dangote of all people, he is one of the biggest beneficiaries in this Nigeria. Nigeria has favoured Dangote more than Nigeria has favoured Nigeria herself. He no favour Baba one time, Baba begin dey use emotional blackmail.

All of them should meet and find ways to resolve whatever issues they have. My own is that I want their resolution to benefit average Nigerians.

Bro, we Nigerians know what we are doing. I can tell you for free that most of these Guys were at one point or the other told by one Friend/Relative/Lawyer/Surveyor/Real Estate specialist the right thing to do, but they ignored just because they don't want to pay small small fees here and there.

Nigeria is not the problem, we the people are.

I swear igbos and Yorubas are just the two stupidest tribes in this nation. Just see how these bunch of hungry lots are fighting over tribe here when you are all poor hungry and wretched? None of you has even 10k in his account and you all woke up this morning to argue tribe? dirty smelly wretched things.

Both of you are the most useless tribes in the south. look at these dirty hungry things on this thread arguing tribe yet you are all poor grin grin grin grin
If any of you had a job you wont be online here at this time when others are going to work arguing about tribe FOOLS!!!! angry

I don't have anything to do with the two of them, but you are also guilty of the same behaviour. How did you automatically ascribe tribe to both of them? Someone already mentioned that one of them is from the South south.

In addition, why will you just say they don't have 10k in their accounts? That's too preposterous from you. What gives you the assurance that they are not even richer than you?

And why are you also commenting at this time when you should be at work? Dey play.

Some of the people commenting at this time are at work already, some worked all through the night, some work from home, some are off today, some are even in a different time zone, some don't even have to work that much but earn 10 times more than you the so-called hardworker.

You have a lot to learn about life.
