Murewaa:Hello, not all jobs require police clearances. You are not going under the health and care visa, so it probably isn’t needed for your profession. But it is still good to have. You can process one and submit it to whoever is handling your visa application just to dot that i |
This is an encouragement. If you want this, don’t give up. You can achieve it. Spouse’s timeline Successful Job interview 18th March Cos received 7th May Biometrics 9th May Visa received 31st May (Nhs job as a support staff under 2219 Health professionals not elsewhere classified) No previous health background just online care certificates and some targeted experience. This is after ians chop our money with nothing to show for it. But their online certifications is what was used. |
Kaylaonah:I should know what a screenshot looks like. It is a document with the UK VI logo even. It is titled (certificate of sponsorship details) So whereas the certificate number is a series of letters and numbers, you can get an actual document with the details, which is what I got. |
This is what I mean. The question is (plus dependents if applicable) So while the company might have no intention of taking care of your family, the family is automatically covered once maintenance is ticked
|
Trex12:On all the COS I have seen that ticked maintenance, it is automatically for dependents also. That is why I stated the need to sight the COS. Even though the accommodation is usually for just the employee, the COS can cover the dependents so they don’t need Proof of funds |
Kamkam007:Simply state that you would be in an air bnb pending when you get a rental. If you have the address for the air bnb or hotel, state it. |
rawaan:They are actually supposed to send you the COS. I don’t see why not. It is not just a series of numbers. It’s an actual document. There you would also get their sponsorship license number, see if they ticked maintenance and all what not. From my experience, it is sent. It was even from the COS we found out that we were getting 5 years contracts with the nhs trust. Just in case it is one of these scam schemes trending, make sure you get your COS and not just a number because I know people are desperately paying for cos now. |
MrsO2:The processing time cannot be the same as the passports won’t go to the same officer. Even when. A family submits together in one location, the main applicant usually gets before the rest of the family. |
No. The route is open for one year, but the contracts can be as long as 5years. That care home is trying to cut cost by giving her a one year contract because it simply means that they pay the skills surcharge for just one year. Most contracts now are for 5 years (mostly the ones from nhs). She can ask for a longer contract or go there and start searching for another job with sponsorship about 3 months to the end of this contract. But they would probably ask to sign her for longer. Also her contract might actually be for a charity worker visa (tier 5) The route for senior carers, doesn’t have a cap like that of the health care assistants. Hopefully the UK government decides to leave it open indefinitely too. |
The wait for COS can be daunting. It’s taking 6 to 8 weeks on average right now. |
Health and care visa $624 |
Hello everyone I am about to apply for dependent visas for my self and my 2 kids, to join my husband in the uk. Please I need help with getting an appointment with tls. How can I ensure that we get the same slot for our appointments and would I have to pay for the courier service 3 times? Considering that I have to get the appointments with 3 different applications. Thank you |
