Please I’m about applying for a tourist visa. I have a virgin passport because I’ve not traveled out of the country ever before, but currently I’m thinking of traveling to Ghana by road to get it stamped. Do you think it’s a nice idea? I read an article here on nairaland where someone was saying the land borders issues fake stamp and I can be banned from entering Canada if they discover the stamp is fake. NOTE: I’m not trying to fake any stamp I just want to travel to Ghana to boost my travel history, I don’t know if someone in the past has used this means to relocate to Canada |

Ashirioluwa: If you package the application well, you should be fine since each application is judged individually.
Also, remember to declare any past refusals, especially those from Canada and the United States. May God bless you ❤️ |

Good evening everyone, I have been applying for canada study visa since 2022 and I’ve been refused 3 times base on POF. Now I’m thinking of going to Canada with a visit visa and my proof of funds is really good. Please do you think it will fly? Or they’d judge me base on my previous refusals? |

Good afternoon all. I’m going for a 2 years course, my tuition is 10,750CAD while living expenses is 10k for a year, 2 years is $41k I’m using my mom as my sponsor, she has transferred N15,000,000 which is CAD44k into my account and also backed it up with a giftdeed.
My question is, will she have to show her own account statement? Is it necessary? Or the gift deed will cover it up. |

Kienitobo: Hello house, I am currently putting together my application for study permit and I wanted to do an upfront medical. The problem is that the closest appointment date is in February and I want to submit this application as soon as possible this January. If I submit the application, can I still send my medical report later, if IRCC hasn't asked me to go for medicals yet? You can submit your application and go for medicals later, the hospital will send your results directly to IRCC. |

Bobomaigida: Nazkid, please how did you arrive at this conclusion on the new portal? Do you have any links that might shed light on this? You can research on Chinook 3+, it’s a device used by IRCC to help checkmate applications. Applications processed by this devices are likely to be denied than accepted. |

MrSkills2: Hi Good day all,
I was served breakfast now now but I am a bit unclear in somethings.
I used the NEW IRCC portal and first i am surprised at the speed at which my application was processed and refused. see details and please advice
Upfront medicals: 8th Decmber 2022 (IOM) Application date: 20th December 2022 biometrics : 28th December 2022 Eligibility started and ended: 3 Jan 2023 final decesion: 3 Jan 2023 refusal : 3rd January 2023 refusal comment: Your Assets and financial situation is insufficient to support stated of travel.
I had paid my tuition deposit of 2650 and also applied for Form A to pay full 1 year tution of 19k as it was a scholarship that is paying for my tuition and program is for two years. submitted all my employment documents, bank statement of 16m et.c though the form A school fees has not been processed by my bank yet due to queue but i uploaded the application receipt.
But i observed that my medicals was not updated even untill now . Am worried that i may not have gotten something right because my application was processed under 2 weeks and was refused.
Your advice will be appreciated. Order for a GCMS NOTE, and in your next application don’t use the new portal, the new portal is operated by bots, and they’re likely to refuse visa’s |

olokings: i may be incorrect, but i don't think using a sponsor who has to commit over 70% of his available and accessible funds for your study is not strategic nor logical.
The sponsor should be able to boast a liquid bank balance requiring no more than 25-30% to fund your full study cost requirements.
This may not be a stated rule, but i think it makes logical sense. No normal person will want to "sponsor" or grant you scholarship which will consume over 70% of his available funds.
Keep that in mind when quoting sponsors. Then having multiple 3rd party sponsors is already a flag, when they don't totally encourage 3rd party sponsors to begin with. It is not just about finding sponsors, but finding one that you can demonstrate commitment and reasonable expense for the sponsorship.
ciao Wow, thanks for the clarity. My uncle agreed to give me all the needed documents i will be needing. Do you think he can use his 50m account to sponsor me? My tuition is $18k |

chrisoo: Off Course that is the reason you are reapplying. They already you were denied. So you have to mention it and address their concerns very well, with real and veritable evidence. May God grant you grace and wisdom! The Gurus can explain better. This is just my opinion. Thanks so much dear, please i have another question, can i use my uncle and my aunty as my sponsors? On the first application i used only my aunts account which had only N14m for a 4 years program and i was denied. Do you think it’s advisable to use that same account? But this time I’m also using my uncle as my sponsor and his account got more than 50m |

Please i got rejected on 3rd of this month, do you think it’s advisable i apply now? Or I should wait a little? My application was rejected due to financial reasons though i had 14m on the proof of funds I submitted for a 4years undergraduate program. I want to reapply now but with a different proof of funds of over 50m and some other documents I didn’t submit during my first application. Should i go ahead? Or just chill?. |
