I suggest that you volunteer that information before you are asked and explain in the detail the purpose of this visit. Let the VO know that you understand the implications of violating the terms of your B1/B2 if granted and that you would not want o jeopardize the chances of getting your IV to relocate and join your spouse legally. Having an IV petition does not stop you from getting an NIV, you just have to be able to convince the VO that you have enough ties to make you come back and continue with what you are currently processing.
Good luck
Thank you . I will sure do that. Had that in mind

LadyGuinivere:
The fact that you have a job and not that you were granted a leave ipso facto is your tie.
The immigrant thing and the fact that your husband is in the us raises a clear immigrant intent.
Good luck

Nothing else matters!
Unless you get this sorted you will be refused for 214b.
Thanks for the response.
I have letter from my place of work showing I'm actually granted leave, I have a copy of the immigrant visa case acceptance confirmation to show I have to come back for that one, then my house lease.
I don't know if there's something else I need.

Good evening house.

I am new here. My interview date is early August. Going for a wedding and then use the opportunity to see hubby. He is based in the US. Already, I have applied for an immigrant visa, but just going to visit and come back while waiting for the immigrant visa.
Btw, hubby is one of the groomsmen and the person wedding is our mutual friend. The wedding iv already stated that accommodation is taken care of excluding the flight. Hubby is paying for my flight ticket.

Please I am open to any advice, contributions or whatsoever. Thank you and keep on doing the good work.

mikedimeji: ATTENTION: I strongly believe that what we have on NYSC website is still a tentative decision, the reason is this pls I want us to look at it critically and objectively.
From what seems to be a report from the meeting held by the management they said we will all do registration and come back two weeks later to collect our letter of deployment to our various PPAs.

EMPHASIS: Now my emphasis is on the bold, are they saying we will come, register and travel back home to come back for letter of deployment to PPAs? So what happen to those people that do not have relatives in the town where the camp is situated what becomes of them. So I strongly feels there's still going to be logical reviews in this issues my thought though.
This is exactly what I'm thinking. Some how I also have the feeling that they might keep us in camp for a while. We just need clarification from this people. I'm just too sad to be angry.

excelsiorfarm: back to d ugu farming idea, d biz needs a little capital, market great in dry season ( provided u have timed well & also have reliable water to support during d period),though ugu is draught resistant to some extent. D half a plot i developed since late last year is till very viable & some already fruiting, i had made more than times 3 D capital invested & i had even shared more to friends & neighbors
Ugu farming is really lucrative and you can still identify the female and stake them since they are the ones that bear pods so you have seeds to use and also sell for the next planting season

SilvanusII: I actually dinnor mean putting on the yam. more like tying it in a bag suspended above the yam tubers. taking in all the moisture as the tubers 'breathe'
But what are you likely to achieve by drying all the moisture in yam? Cos I'm trying to picture the negative effect it will have on the yam apart from making it last longer.

automech: update as regards?
What's up in camp? What they need and stuff like that so we won't be stranded
AgricultureRe: Storage Of Farm Produce by Nazysandy(f): 10:06pm On Aug 05, 2014
SilvanusII: I have never actually tried this as I am not a practising farmer. But if Silicon pellets are placed in our leather shoes to prevent moisture spoilage, why can't they be used to prevent decay brought on by moisture especially in underground storage of yamhuh
Silicon pellet is a drying agent but not edible. It should not be used on edible products.

Yam is best preserved by putting them in barns then as for cereals/grains, putting them in silos or air tight container that will prevent moisture accumulation or weevil attack. The grains can still be treated with pesticides to keep these weevils away.
Vegetables can be put in green leaves to preserve them for a while but not for a longer period due to its perishable nature.
