The brainbox has been contaminated, the expensive way to surmount this issue is to buy a new brainbox which the market value as at now is currently 130k in ladipo.

Or

In the current brainbox of your Kia rio,the ic called tle2288r must be replaced along with the defective capacitors.then your car will function normal.i know a guy at ladipo who repairs it I can link u if you care, tho his price will be around 18k.

And also you will buy sp111 AT fluid, drain the old fluid and use recommended fluid, just four quarts only ,a quart is 4k.i can link you to the seller in olanibi street ladipo.forget what that mechanic is telling you, don't waste your money

Thank you very much sir for this solution, I have been having this exact issue with my Kia Picanto 2013

... Someone advised me to do partial change of water everyday. That is, I will remove half of the water and replace the amount i removed with fresh water everyday.... Are you in benin sir....

Thats also good. Infact, sometimes in a bid to conserve water. I run my flow through with little pressure for 30mins after feeding and stop. And my water is always fresh. So am very sure that will work. Am in abuja.

Goodevening house, please are they more effective and efficient method of removing waste from hatching tanks ( 0 - 14days), apart from the normal siphoning waste out, spining the waste and siphoning fries back to the tank.

Because, most time its almost impossible to return the fries back to the hatching tank without picking some waste along. While some of the fries stay under the waste.

Thank you

That rate of mortality is not normal. From what you have done, i can draw some inferences...

1. You said you removed the spawnimg net after 24 hours, i suspect the unhatched eggs have contaminated the rest. Usually, during this hot weather it takes between 20-22hrs for the eggs to start hatching (less than 24hrs), and further extention can cause damage. Was ur water foaming when you removed the net? If yes, thats the cause...

2. I suspect you didnt disinfect before spawning. I usually use bleach for that.

3. Your female broadstock eggs mighy not be very matured. Did you check the eggs, u will see an orange dot inside.

Good day all.I have read this thread from the beginning and want to use this opportunity to that all those who have given such invaluable resource to newbies like me.I am located in Umuahia and have been in the catfish business for 18months now.It has been a roller coaster ride but I thank God for all the learning experiences. One of the challenges I had was that of poor quality fish seeds(fingerlings).I then decided to learn how to hatch myself and actually did unsuccessfully five times.I applied all the strategies I read up on this thread with minimal success and I am sure I am still getting some things wrong.I spawned yesterday and the fry are still hatching now.Pls when do I start the aerator? At what speed should it run?Is it at the highest, lowest or medium speeds? When do I start flow through? Is it when the yolk has been fully absorbed? I would really appreciate your useful responses.I really want to get beyond day 3 this time. Many thanks in advance.

Sorry for the 5 failures, but i believe with the level of determination you have, you will succed this time. I just started hatching not too long with couple of success.

First, your flow through should come up the moment the eggs have been placed on the net, though with minimal pressure ( So not to disturb the eggs).

Secondly, I dont use aerator. I believe experts in the house will assist you on this.

Hope you monitor your water pH, very paramount, you need a pH meter. Then hope you disinfect your hatching tank after every successful or unsuccessful hatch.

My few suggestion. Wish you luck.

..just like what some1 have said feed less, if you are on flow through reduce the inflow water because of stress. They don't need stress at all.

Thank you sir. Will follow these observations you have spotted. Thanks

At this stage (11 days) most problems are always as a result of poor water management. Take a picture or make a video of your water Flow through system

.
Thank you very much sir. Your absolutely right, i had to change the water, siphone the waste. The mortality has reduced seriously. They are even behaving (swimming) better. Thanks

What is the depth of your borehole. Generally Abuja has very good underground water for human and livestock including fish.
The foul smell could be as a result of direct sun on the storage tank

Thank you sir for the reply, we discovered dead birds inside the tank. They were not covered. The water is awesome now.

Please, i also want to acknowledge the person who started this section, those who have contributed also, it was after reading all the comments and reply that i got spured into venturing in this aspect of agro business.

I intend to start with 500 juveniles, learn with that before expanding. I also want to know the feed I should start them with.

And finally, my borehole water pH is ok, i have tested it. But it tends to develop fowl smell when it stays in a tank for couple of days. Is it safe for fish farming?

Thanks for the reply
