This thread is meant to encourage more Igbos to think home. Try and invest in Southeast, try and own a property in Southeast. Forget about propaganda, Southeast is fast developing. Many areas in Southeast now look like what you see in countries like US, South Korea, Norway, Switzerland, etc. Abroad standard structures and lawn ways, zero flooding, etc.


I am encouraging fellow Igbo brothers, please think home. Personally, I have a future plan to own a property in all the capital cities of the five states in Southeast. Gradually, God willing, I will be achieving my third before the end of 2028 God sparing our lives and I encourage fellow Igbos to do same and even more based on your pocket size. And beyond just residential buildings, please if you have the means, invest in agro business, owning a palm tree farm is very profitable, you harvest all year round, from there you can add mini factories to produce creams, soaps, groundnut oil gotten from palm kernel oil, its a very lucrative business if you can overcome inconsistent power challenge which is the greatest challenge in that business.


A friend that lives in an EU country established a complete poultry farm where he rears fowls, goats, and he recently added a fish farm.


You can establish mini agro factories, if you need ideas I can share with you just quote me. We must start thinking home, that is another way to make Southeast more safer when there are more than enough jobs to engage our youths, they won't be available for criminal gangs to recruit.

The same federal government started Awka-Ekwulobia-Ideato-Orlu-Owerri highway, asphalted and put gutters on the entire road but could not finish a bridge across Orashi River in Ideato, Imo state, before Buhari military govt took power.
Till today, the Ekwulobia-Ideato-Orlu section of the road is not in use because of absence of that bridge.

One wonders: does the Federal ministry of Works keep data on its roads?
