Politics / Re: Owerri Residents Scamper For Safety As Unknown Gunmen Terrorize Akwakuma by Nchenches: 9:27am On Jul 09, 2023
Has Owerri joined Orlu in scampering for safety?
For about 4 years since mid 2020, platoons of soldiers brought by gov Hope Uzodinma to Orlu would be on duty while a few ungun known men enfotce sit at home in Orlu, at times closing all the banks in Orlu.
How could soldiers be everywhere in Orlu while a few boys enforced sit at home in Orlu if not that State governor is complicit - involved- in imposing sit at home on Orlu?
The governor folllows with relocating government estaablishments in Orlu to Owerri. Agents of the governor propagate that the governor cannot do any drvelopment in Orlu until Orlu people chase away unknown gunmen.
After all, Orlu has been reduced to be like in its precivil war era. Governor enjoys the situation.
Associating IPOB people here is like chasing shadows. The connected people behind the insecurity and sit at home know themselves.
Politics / Re: Suspected IPOB Gunmen Burn Down Cars And Tricycles In Owerri Okigwe Road by Nchenches: 9:11am On Jul 09, 2023
Have they taken the mayhem to Owerri, the sanctuary of Imo people and governor?

For about 4 years, platoons of soldiers on the streets of Orlu would be on duty while a few armed boys enforced sit at home on Orlu. At times beyond Mondays, they force banks to close for days.
Hired propagandist in the state say that gov Hope Uzodinma will never do any drvelopment in Orlu unless Orlu people stop the insecurity in Orlu.
Orlu has now become like before the civil war time. The gov relocated most of the government establishments in Orlu to Owerri. The gov enjoys the situation Orlu is reduced. He is on vendetta against his old political foes in Orlu.
OP, IPOB has no business in all these mayhem in the east. Those connected people who organise the mayhem know themselves.

To seek legitimacy, Tinubu continues to use public money to influence presidents and primeministers of countries of the world to pay him presidential visit. Tinubu must have understood that he is sitting on a borrowed seat. He did not win the last presidential election in Nigeria

Hardship de sweet you like sugar. From your Buhari hardships, you want us to go through hardships from Tinubu again before, if ever, we harvest surplus.
Time for you and others like you to be going through that your process is fast approaching. No country remains one forever.

That cannot make sense only to a senseless person; a senseless person who posts photos of Owerri upandan on a thread meant to showcase modern development in all of Imo state;
it's a senseless person who sees Owerri and its development process as representing Imo state and its development process.

Education / Re: How I Emerged Best UTME Candidate With 360 Score - Umeh Nkechinyere by Nchenches: 1:56pm On Jul 01, 2023
As Nigeria goes on with Quota System to lift northern people up, the political leadership of the North introduces stringent sharia laws that diminish enthusiasm for modernity.
The end result is stiffling forward movement for the others who want modernised Nigeria.
Because of proceeds from crude oil and gas, diverse groups with diverse value systems are confined by force to one Nigeria.
Education / Re: How I Emerged Best UTME Candidate With 360 Score - Umeh Nkechinyere by Nchenches: 1:52pm On Jul 01, 2023
After the students award, the teaching staff and the proprietor of the school deserve big awards.
One funny thing about the story: the federal governnent colleges rejected this Nkechinyere who scored highest at the UTM; this is part of the story of how Quota System in Nigeria has drowned excellence in Nigeria.

If something is brought to Orlu zone you will complain it wasn't your town. If your town you will complain it wasn't your clan, your clan you will complain it wasn't your family, your family you will complain it wasn't you.

Stop trying to use 'orlu zone' to make up for your lack of achievement in life. Go accomplish things, Orlu Zone is not waiting for you to complain for us. If you were busy accomplishing things you wouldn't sound like this

There is nothing you or anyone can do to change nature: Orlu urban LGA is the principal city of Orlu senatorial zone. That's the only city which had nearly the same level of urban development with Owerri when Imo state was created.
You can come from Orlu zone but don't subscribe to urban renewal for Orlu by IMSG, but fact is that so long the infrastructures in this city is not restored, or new ones built, so long you and people of Orlu senatorial district will continue to migrate to Ofuruola, Ezi Obodo, Ngor Okpala etc in Owerri zone to settle.

People from Orlu zone will continue to relocate to Owerri zone unless Orlu is made livable by IMSG.
Nearly half of the population of Imo indigines living in Owerri zone are from Orlu zone. But you can hardly find anyone from Owerri zone living in Orlu zone. In fact, most of the people from Owerri zone don't know where Orlu and Okigwe are situated. Relocation of people from Orlu zone to far away areas in Owerri, including Ofuruola, Ezi Obodo, Ejemekwuru, Ngor Okpala, and approaching Ikwerre border, is accelerating now.
Governors from Orlu zone are slapping and punishing their own people.

Nobody from Orlu zone is complaining, don't mind this person. There are many mental configurations that make people repeat themselves over and over. Orlu has had more governors than any zone, 99% of what this man is complaining about was done by an Orlu man. Owerri is a special city and the rise of Owerri is the rise of Imo.

Good you understand that 99% of what I complain against were made by governors from Orlu zone.
In 2019, a principal secretary to then gov Ihedioha scolded politicians from Orlu zone for governing Imo state for too long but could not point to any modern city in their Orlu zone. The principal city in Orlu zone got worse since Hope Uzodinma became governor.
Okorocha started urban renewal in Orlu but didn't complete the work before he joined APC and faced urban renewal of only Owerri.
Of the scores of dilapidated urban roads in Orlu, Uzodinma government reconstructed only one in 4 years. If you are truly from Orlu zone and not complaining, nwanne, we need to reexamine your head.

Whatever; APC means misery for Nigerians.
Federal government; Federal government, Federal government which does not understand that people in Nigeria are being roasted by hunger and diseases, lack of electricity, lack of treated running water. What a few people want is just stay ontop of presidency and conduct Federal government with income from crude oil.
Whoever formed APC is SATANIC.

What fun? Owerri is the only thing that counts for you whenever discourse is about Imo state. Once an Imo state governor repairs and builds broad streets and drainage systems in Owerri but ignores rest of the state to decay, as the situation is now, such a governor, for you, is the best Imo state ever had.

Imo State is nearly 98% Christian population; so if IMSG uses say, N15m, to sponsor 20 Imo Christian pilgrims to the Middle East, it's in order. But if IMSG uses N15m to sponsor 20 Imo Muslim pilgrims to the Middle East, it becomes outrageous.

Before 5th August, Tinubu must have used the enormous wealth of Nigeria to bribe everyone bribable to accept his illegitimate presidency.

Those who say don't swear anyone in as president until the presidential election petition is disposed; are more brilliant than those who made Nigeria's Constitution.

Unbridled inflation
in Nigeria makes the lawyers and judges poor when compared to the executive arm of governnent which controls oil and sundry revenues. It's an unfortunate situation.
