Nigerians must learn to hold political leaders accountable no matter what, that way, the society will be saved from ruins resulting from bad leadership as can be seen in Nigeria today.


Back to your topic, so many communities in Nigeria are currently deserted today and under ruins all because of insecurity and economic hardship that gave birth to mass rural-urban migration in Nigeria; the few urban areas in Nigeria today are overcrowded beyond their capacity all because of skewed rural-urban migration resulting from failed government of Nigeria.


It's not just Kwara state alone, many communities in Orlu Imo state were also deserted by the villagers running away from government-induced insecurity some months back. You go to Benue, Plateau, Taraba, etc, Fulani herdsmen terrorists have forced villagers to flee their ancestral homes in search of safety.


Go to Borno, Adamawa, Yobe, Zamfara, Kaduna, etc, Boko Haram, ISWAP and bandits have turned communities there to deserted lands lying in ruins. Same is happening in parts of Edo, Delta and Ondo states.



Nigerians must start holding elected leaders accountable for all these stories to change because praying is not enough to change the situation
