Politics / Re: Ihedioha: Mass Resignation Hits Imo PDP by Nchenches: 10:25pm On Apr 23 |
fergie001: Hope Uzodinma is believed to be inching to hand over to Sam Anyanwu. Uzodinma's boys led by Rex Anunobi from Nkwerre in Orlu zone, have been hiding under one useless organisation of Orlu zone to tackle Captain Iheanacho who wants to challenge Uzodinma's candidates in 2027. Iheanacho is most likely to be a formidable challenger of Uzodinma's power plans in 2027. Every election in Imo state, crooks from Orlu zone gather under one Orlu zone association or the other to ask for support from Orlu wu eze. When they get power, they return to the state capital where they live, do all govt development in the capital territory where they scramble for lands, acquire lands in the most rural areas in Owerri zone, use federal allocations of the 27 LGAs to build roads unto the lands they bought. Rest of Imo state outside the capital territory stink with no modern development infrastructures. These mafia groups misusing the name of Orlu zone to gain power are on land speculations in the capital territory. They started the business when they served Ohakim govt. They are also steering Uzodinma's govt . They are steering Uzodinma to hand over to a person they can manipulate after Uzodinma. 1 Like |
Politics / Re: EFCC Arrests Hadi Sirika Over ₦8bn Nigeria Air Fraud by Nchenches: 6:31pm On Apr 23 |
Steal one year's income of Nigeria, settle the court judges to buy freedom. Na today? Arrest for what? Nigeria's a country of no true citizens. It's everyone for his/her pocket. Those who have no means, or can't, steal from the country's purse take to Jappa route. |
Politics / Re: Ex-Imo Governor, Emeka Ihedioha Resigns From PDP by Nchenches: 5:53pm On Apr 23 |
SoNature:Okorocha and Uzodinma both share one trait which made them site key projects in Owerri zone: both have axe to grind against some unseen enemies from the principal city in Orlu zone - Orlu Municipal LGA. But Okorocha was more forgiving for his perceived enemies here. Uzodinma is like he planned to become governor to return Orlu to the dark ages. Since Okorocha left office, infrastructures in his Ideato area have deteriorated, even gone worse than before he became governor. Uzodinma's Omuma is not exempt when he leaves office. Both cheated nature as governor. Only a mugu who can't look beyond the nose would seek to set a city many years backward because he has an axe to grind against one or two individuals in the city. 1 Like |
Politics / Re: ‘Misplaced Priority’ – Obi Questions Lagos-calabar Super Highway Project by Nchenches: 2:56pm On Apr 22 |
First reality is that the highway has antipathy to the SE as foundation; if not, no saner person would go to build on marshy water terrain that cannot be easy to build and maintain, but avoid a more profitable Lagos-Benin-Onitsha-Portharcourt-Calabar superhighway on solid land terrain. Second reality is that embezzlement of public funds is encoded in the project. Third reality is that the highway passes through fewer population centres, it's merely aimed at exploitation in taking the oil and gas resources in the Niger delta region to Lagos. 2 Likes 1 Share |
Travel / Re: Aba Residents Groan As Rain Washes Off Newly Constructed People's Road (Video) by Nchenches: 8:53am On Apr 20 |
What one sees here is heavy flood coming from one area found its way to a portion of the newly reconstructed road, and pulled away asphalt. The people complain to their listening gov. Go to Imo state, whole Ideato and parts of Orlu are being washed away by flood and erosion, no road. Human beings have been carried away and drowned by floods in these parts of Imo state. All cries to Hope Uzodinma for rescue amounted to nothing. He is governing state capital and his local government area. 2 Likes |

alanto: The time to incite the public against government was when APC stole the presidential election through Mahmood Yakubu. But Obi told his supporters to refrain from protests, stay indoors. May thunder scatter you there for thinking of arresting Obi for incitement. |
Crime / Re: Deborah Samuel's Killers Faced Camera, Bragged And Held A Matchbox – Amnesty Int by Nchenches: 7:31pm On Apr 02 |
Angelfrost: We swept Deborah's case under the carpet and moved on, why? Since Nigeria was politically restructured by northern military dictators from 1970-1996 and created too many undue number of states and legislative constituencies in the old Northern region largely controlled by Hausa-Fulani group, Nigeria became a property of the Sharia states. 2 Likes |

But the govt of Nigeria says that the Dollar value is crashing against the Naira. It's a question of no food prices that go up in Nigeria ever came down. The population of Nigeria fixes the prices. Too much population depending on proceeds from crude oil. |

LocalFARMERS: Tell them that by year 2270, a good leader will emerge from Nigeria to systemize everywhere in Nigeria. Most of the people of the southern regions don't look beyond the nose. Nigerians are waiting for the good leader instead of dividing the most dysfunctional country into more manageable countries. They have been waiting for Godot. |

LocalFARMERS: Does this stop Ekpoma people from shouting one Nigeria? Most people in the southern regions of Nigeria reason from their ass, they are like people purchased with money by AREWA people to shout one Nigeria indivisible. One Nigeria profits only Arewa. |

A country made to stink with ethno-religious bigotry. Value systems differ. But instead of Nigeria's popitical class to come together and say let's dissolve the country, they are glued together by proceeds from crude oil in the Niger delta region. |

Politics / Re: South-East To Sue FG, Demands Creation Of 6th State; To Demand For Trillions by Nchenches: 4:47pm On Mar 28 |
Penguin2: It takes only a few politically savvy Igbos like E Iwuanyanwu to state that the SE zone is politically underrepresented in the National Assembly, FEC and in everything govt of Nigeria that involves the 36 states and Abuja political structure. The SE has lost trillions of Naira federal allocations. Iwuanyanwu knows very well the history of state creation in the SE; so it surprised no one that he fought tooth and nail for creation of the proposed Njaba state. |

The 6th State, Njaba, which obtained a nationwide consensus in 2006 but an Igbo man president of Senate threw away the baby with the bathtub. Today's inglorious situation in Imo state originated from that non creation of the proposed Njaba State then. 1 Like |
