Akwa Ibom and Delta saw the light. They buried this nonsense and moved forward—now look at their progress. Imo was on the right track until the Orlu zone hijacked the system and plunged it into tribal madness. Abia, after rotating power, is now embracing merit—and it's paying off.

But then you have the Tiv in Benue—gripping power like it’s a birthright, yet the state continues to sink. Kogi could have become the next Ogun, feeding off Abuja’s proximity like Ogun does from Lagos. But no, the small-minded apartheid mindset has made sure the state remains in the dark.

If power must stay in one group’s hands forever, then let development die with them.

Through Owerri people expropriating all government institutions and parastatals that induce human and economic development wherever located, and got all located in Owerri zone, Owerri zone plunged Imo state into madness before 1999.

Imo is the only state in Nigeria where only the zone of the state capital is witnessing modern development and rapid urban life due to Owerri people lobbying and having all institutions of government located in Owerri zone.
