Politics › Re: Corruption And The Audacity Of Patience Goodluck - By Gbenro Olajuyigbe by ndcide(m): 11:15am On Sep 17, 2016
The writer is doing so from self induced pain. It's all aimed at whipping up emotions.

The writer obviously don't know Mrs Jonathan. My point, she is not a poor woman. Politics aside.

Secondly, I didn't see this writer, write like this when we called for the prob of Buratai and minister dambazau.

This is the trick, when you ask them, they'll say they never supported them. That's a lie because, dambazau and Buratai are in power and a forthright writeup will go a long way in healing the system.

You can't keep quiet with the serving minister and CAS and pick up your pen because it's Jonathan. Something is wrong there. Even if no one asked you to write, you should know that you are being manipulated by forces stronger than you.

Now, if you ask the questions being asked about the Jonathans on those currently in power or connected to power, you see silence. It seems like a spell.

Let's be honest, these thing is BECOMING too much of a drama.

I'm I saying that patience Jonathan didn't get illicit money, NO. But it's the same for others.

If I say ask Tinubu were he got his monies or how did buhari fund his campaign, or I say let's prob Buratai. You get silence from the anti corruption crusaders.

Okay, what was Burutai's response? He saved the money. What was Mrs Jonathan's response, same thing.

If you believe Burutai and don't believe Jonathan or you keep quiet with Buratai and scream when it has to do with Jonathan, you are not objectives.. QED

Well
Some people will not agree with the statistics. The price of commodities can tell you that. I went to buy vegetable oil at Ajah market and the price had gone up within two weeks. So what are we not saying.

Okay let's say at 17.6% it is GEJ'S fault and PDP 16 years.

Will these people still say the same thing when it's 20%?

Naughtysite:
The United Nations is warning that Nigeria is seriously on the verge of a famine that is worse than that ever seen anywhere in the world, according to a report by Sky News.

The report attributed to UN’s assistant Secretary-General Toby Lanzer said currently, about a quarter of a million children in the north-eastern part of Nigeria are severely malnourished.

While this is so, millions of other children are supposedly starving in refugee camps ‘that are too dangerous for aid agencies to reach.’

“Nigeria is already economically struggling – it is in a recession for the first time in more than a decade, inflation is at an 11-year high and oil, which makes up 70 percent of the government’s revenue, is still suffering from a slump.
“For the country’s north eastern region, however, things are made worse by Islamic militants Boko Haram, who have disrupted trade and farming in the region and are also hostile to western medicine,” the report said.

According to Mr Lanzer, “we will see, I think, a famine unlike any we have ever seen anywhere” if nothing urgent was done.

There are around a million people in Maiduguri’s camps – most of them fleeing the reach of the terrorist group – and many of them are also struggling with hunger.

The UN says Nigeria could witness serious famine
While this is so, millions of other children are supposedly starving in refugee camps ‘that are too dangerous for aid agencies to reach.’

There are around a million people in Maiduguri’s camps – most of them fleeing the reach of the terrorist group – and many of them are also struggling with hunger.

There had been several reports that food and other materials meant for the displaced persons in camps are stolen by government officials deployed to care for them.

The government is currently investigating this claim.

Meanwhile, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has revealed that it was funding six agricultural commodities value chains with emphasis on rice production.

Most of the reply here is going to come from the "Buharideens"

Some of them can claim to support any group but they are who they are. They don't have any alternative.
They are Buharideens. From their post you shall know them. they are quick to label any group that seek to change the present political status quo as corrupt. They don't believe they themselves are corrupt. Bring a party of young people today, they still wouldn't join. Forget what they say.

They are the Buharideens. Protecting buhari even if they die doing it is their objective.

Glory12345:
Actually this is my first post on nairaland,I'm a comment reader and a post reader and I have observed how people do things here and I feel I should share my story, please don't criticise me or anything, I just need your help or advise, and please do read carefully to understand, and i am also sorry if i dont type this well,i'm not much of a writer. Thanks in advance

There's this guy I met at 3chub Ikeja,I actually went to ask if there was any standard rechargeable fan because i have been scammed alot by all these "fairly used" rechargeable fan,so i decided to buy a new one because they sell home appliances there, even though people say fairly used items are better which I chose to decline because this is 2016,and this buhari regime doesnt accomodate an extravagant spending.

I work in Lagos but I stay in mowe, and the electricity there isn't too good so that's why I'm getting the fan so even when the gen is off,i would have an alternative,so when I got to the store, the sales ambassadors offered me different brand rechargeable fan,but i later got a syinix rechargeable fan, because I was impressed with the number of months the warranty covers so I purchased it with my ATM card since I just came to inquire and not buy and I was cashless,I had to just use the POS *I'm only explaining all if these to give you a clearer understanding of the issue on floor*

After purchasing the fan, there was this guy that came to buy a gas cooker and we happened to meet and we both exchanged contacts with eachother and few months later we developed feelings and we had a relationship and we were doing the normal relationship vibe, until this week,he started acting up because I said no sex until marriage...he's a very nice person anyway,he helped me in so many ways(advices, financially, physically) but just because I said no sex until marriage,he's acting up already, although I have my reasons for abstaining until marriage anyway but my story is sad,and I don't know who to tell and I feel more comfortable telling people online because someone that knows me physically might not say the truth to me,because they don't want to hurt me,please I need matured comments even if it will hurt, just tell me

Although we aren't kids, but I'm just troubled because I love him a lot and I don't know what to do.

I'm a loner right now sad
I couldn't finish reading through the first page before I clicked reply.

Look dear, I'm a guy, a full blooded guy but I know so much that I became an absolute advocate of chastity.
I know people like me are few but I'll tell you; DON'T GIVE IN TO SEX.
It's crazy for someone like me to say this but YEAH! I say it even at work, everywhere.

Explain to him your reasons and stick to it. If he goes, let him go.

But if you want to be like others, no problem. However remember we are not celebrated for our similarities but for our differences. There's a lot of manipulation going on through sex that I can't tell you now.

I understand how you feel you are cheating him or you are indebted to him but is it only sex you can offer him?

We want different things. Be different.

Ladies and gentlemen, we really need to review some of these things. We were Really unfair to GEJ. I'm being honest here.

Interesting. I personally don't know the reforms going on in PDP. In fact, PDP is increasingly becoming irrelevant.

With the daily knocks from the APC, on Saturday, Edo state will be having their election, how will the so called reform help the PDP candidate to win.

I don't understand all these.

Is it because Deji issued a statement to Buhari led APC government, showing facts and figures?

What exactly is the main issue. We had always know deji in that position. So what changed? That he criticized buhari? Could that be it?

I'm really not so interested in PDP any more.

Or you think GEJ's coming to power wasn't an exceptional occurrence?

I could write that GEJ was sent by GOD, but was misunderstood. I could liking his exit, to the situation when the prophets were hated and were being killed.

I could also liking this buhari era as the dark ages, after prophet Malachi where there were no truth, no prophet no nothing for about 400 years before John the Baptist and Jesus Christ.

I think we just have to stop this buffoonery and hold the government we voted for accountable to us and stop making excuses.

Weather you believe it or not, The first thing people look on you when they see you is your shoes.

And Good, clean shoes will take you to places!

So matter how rapid our styles keep chchanging, white shoes will NEVER go out of fashion, As much as they look awesome brand new, but the real challenge is maintaining its whiteness.

In our part of the world, keeping your perfect white trainer intact takes real skill. When it comes to cleaning white materials, these ingredients are the most effective natural ingredients there is.

Here is how to keep your white trainers looking fresh and brand new.

This is all you need:

1✔ A used toothbrush.
2✔ 4 tablespoons of baking soda.
3✔ 8 tablespoons of vinegar...
Bros, as people have said a lot I'm not confused about the thing.

1, are there different types of vinegar? The one you posted is it the one used for domestic purposes? Can it be swallowed or used in food?

Also, the baking soda, can you be more direct about what it is? Which kind of shop will I go to demand for baking soda and I will get the right thing?

I thought about these things before, I had to settle for tooth paste and it worked. But I'm told that vinegar is something to have in your home. I don't know if they are of different types.

All ye small boys who want to be 'bad boys' at all costs, write this down as the definitive manual for being the kind of 'bad boy' who knows how to handle ALL women...The highlighted rules work for ALL women. This not not mean that you would get all women to like you or fall for you. But at least you would never be ridiculed.

It's not about being a crude, belligerent, loud-mouthed, drug addicted idiot. There is an art to everything, even 'badness'.
The point some of you miss and also to the person you quoted, is the psychology of taking for granted those who love you.

It has nothing to do with being needy or clingy. It's a maturity thing. Even you talking will fall into such trap if you don't watch it. It's the mindset of wanting what's not available. It's not as simple as you put it that's why it keeps happening.

Lol.. .take it easy, I know girls don't like nice guys even they always claim they do but making their live miserable is a no no.

I always advice guys to pick some important trait from the bad guys such as.

1. Not being needy
2. Not being clingy
3. Be unpredictable
4. Stop seeking for permission

Things not to emulate
1. Insulting bae
2. Beating bae
Are you really sure of this? Are you talking from experience?. I think age and maturity of the ladies involved play a huge role. The thinking of most 20-25 year old girls will involve you being unnecessarily hard and nasty on her. But from 28 upwards, you'll really love some of their maturity. Just that most of them come with high mileage, degraded engine, and seriously battered core.
