When we talk of good governance umahi shouldn’t come close to it

For almost eight years in office, there’s no employment of any form in Ebonyi state not to talk of promotions, he even cut salaries of civil workers and sack almost half of civil servants in Ebonyi state.

There’s no single investment attracted to Ebonyi state either by umahi or friends

The state prides itself as an agricultural state still yet nothing is done in that aspect

Some persons will argue that he concentrated on infrastructure but is only in abakaliki town, inside Ebonyi is a hell, and lest I forget the kind of hunger in that town is heart breaking.

I visited their mall, apart from everyday and few others, other outlets are empty, same thing with their so call international market, half of the market is empty

You guys need to visit Ebonyi to understand the suffering of the people. Almost half of ebonyians are not living in Ebonyi state, I just pity living there

Anambra state today is Government of anambra and ebonyi state. We are now dragging every nook of the state with them plus Simon Ekpa importing unknown gunmen from ebonyi to anambra state

Ndi Abakiliki biko leave us alone o. One man personally told me that it is ndi Anambra that is their stumbling block in getting Biafra. My people are under attack. Gov Soludo, biko you have to keep that Udo one side and put on the cloak of vawlence otherwise they won't let us be.

I wonder how anambra is their stumbling block to Biafra. Biafra na by force.

They can get their own Biafra and live there. Nobody will disturb them.

It shows that you are not Igbo, just another urchin from Ogbomosho who is angry at how developed Onitsha is

Shut it.

The energy you waste here channel it tour state. Charity they say begins at home.

It has been brought to our notice this current Simon Ekpa's unknown gunmen consists mostly of Abakiliki people and they have the guts to come to Anambra to torment us. Anybody close to Soludo should talk to him. I don't know why that man is not taking security serious. People were almost killed at Nnewi yesterday. We must do something and urgently too .

You are very correct. From available videos they couldn't even speak normal anambra tongue.

Abakiliki people should reign in on their violence and contain it on their state. Also Imo state is not an exception.

But what baffles me why they always target anambra state in every thing?

Nobody is 100% useless! If you are a student of history and strategy.....you will know this fact! Even prisoners and felons have their nuisance value! Russia after 1 calendar year of relentless bloodletting in Ukraine has released felons and criminals in her prisons to fight with Wagner mercenary army in a freedom for 6 months at the front deal!

The ESN you are disparaging today ......may yet be useful to us! Bros my eyes dey ground! FEBRUARY 25th is going to be pivotal and I smell an Abiola 1993 election debacle............we are not out of the woods yet..............by any stretch of imagination! You will do well not to heave a sigh of relief yet!

Let ESN be useful in your state, we don't need them or anything like them in Anambra nation.

Take the usefulness of ESN and it's terrorist activities even in years to come to your state, we don't need it please.

Inukwam ESN, we don't need them.

Igbos miscalculate and overhype Lagos sometimes.

I did the maths and i found out that investing in the east will give you access to bigger market than Lagos.

Here is how.

South South and South East has a population of 26 and 22 Milllion people respectively. If you combine them together that's 48 million people.

South West has a total population of 32.5 million people.

Now if you observe the attached map there are two circles I drew there. The yellow and the blue circle.

The yellow circle consist of what I call the economic catchment areas of Eastern Region. This catchment areas includes SS/SE and some parts of Cameroun and Equatorial Guinea.

As I mentioned, minus Cameroun and Equatorial Guinea, the total population of SS/SE alone is a market catchment area that's more populated than SW.

What this means is that citing an industry in SS/SE will give you access to more market than the market available in SW. Some of our Igbo brothers are always deceived that Lagos has the population hence the need for them to set up industry in Lagos/Ibadan axis. That's a big lie. Only Abia, Owerri and PH will give you whatever market you need to sell your product. And also, it is a known fact that most of these stuffs produced in Lagos/Ibadan axis finds their way into SS/SE. Example snacks and biscuits.

Now if these things still comes to SS/SE and gets consumed what is the sense in now going as far as Lagos to set up this factories when in actual sense if u set it in SS/SE you get access to more ready market and population. Now if I go further to add Equitorial Guinea and Cameroun you know what this means.

Now let's talk about the blue circle.
As you might have observed, Abuja is closer to SE/SS than Lagos/SW. Now if this is the case why do our people still think they should cite their bizness in SW/Lagos/Ibadan when they can cite it in SS/SE and get to the market in Easter NC, NE and Abuja faster?

I have contemplated on this and I honestly don't see the sense of setting up industries in this areas when at the end of the day your goods gets consumed more outside the region you set up factory.

Innoson is a good example that proves that setting up in SE/SS is more viable than SW. From Nnewi Innoson can easily sell to Abuja, NC, Cameroun, Equatorial Guinea, etc.

Let me reemphasize. SE/SS has more population and ready consumers than SW. SE/SS can easily distibute to Abuja, Eastern NC and NE easily cause of proximity than shipping from Lagos to these areas.

It is important Igbo industrialists lock down the economic zones and market of NE, Eastern NC, SS, Equatorial Guinea and Cameroun.

If we can successfully lock down this market, we can then scale up and compete to get other regions like NW, Western NC and even SW, then global markets.

Let's start with the market in this areas first (NE, Eastern NC, SS/SE, Equatorial Guinea and Cameroun).

It is important we build factories within SE/SS in order to stay close to these market and capture them. Proximally speaking, it makes more sense to build industries in SE/SS than building in Lagos/Ibadan. Most of the cities and states with higher Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) exist within our market region. LET'S BUILD INDUSTRIES CLOSE TO IT AND LOCK IT.

I know people will give me reasons like Seaport and the rest not functional in SS/sE that's why people set up there. Well i disagree.

We can still set up here and push thru our leaders that the available ports be functional, or even invest towards building and owning one. We need leaders in the SE to be more proactive in the next 4 years. it should not be about just building road and flyovers now. it is now an existential matter. They must push and float investment companies that will go round and see stuffs that hinders our productivity and see ways to invest in ensuring that stumbling block is removed. Akwa Ibom state is building a seaport, this investment front funded by all SE states can go and invest in it and secure the goodwill of the state and secure right of access instead of complaining and waiting for FG to wake up. FG is slow, waiting for them will make us waste precious time.

Thank God seaports are now in the legislative list. SE governors can work with states like Akwa Ibom (preferable to avoid Ijaw wahala) to get concession to build ports at their coastal line. This port must not even be funded from the state covers of SE. Funds can be sourced from investors while the front runners will be the investment company set up by SE Gov Forum. I know this is what SEREDEC was design to function as. I hope we get to the point where we start having the conversation. SW is doing it already, buying and owning OML thru their investment front (Odua investment group).

It is important we realize that this time around, the next four years should not be about roads and flyovers. State governors can not develop SE within the shortest possible time. They must work with private investors which we have in abundance, but the brick wall has been trust and lack of passion from government.

Only one gov in SE has started going this route, it may sound surprising but it's Abia. As it stands, Abia State via EEC has now taken over Enugu - PH expressway and Onitsha - Aba - Owerri expressway. They will toll it and make money from it in the coming years.

This is what I pray to start seeing in SE.

Igbos have distanced themselves from ipob and will never associate themselves with ipob again.

By now, you should have known that igbos don’t sympathize with terriosm in the name of freedom fighting, even if mnk regain his freedom, no one will take him serious again, as for ikpa and his fellow wawa miscreants , he’s fighting a loose battle because his fellow Ebonyians don’t take him serious except the criminal minded ones.

Please, stop disturbing us with ipob here, thank you

He is ashamed of his state so he wants us to buy into his IPob terrorisms.

Everyday he will camp here preaching about terrorisms to the free people of anambra state.

I wonder if his colleagues told him that Biafra lives here.

Oga go and support peter Obi and stop minding other people's business! Biafran agitators have a particular point of view and are busy "walking their talk'..............the 'Igbo presidency' crew on the other hand have not lifted a finger to support Peter Obi in any way, instead it is a certain key section of the yoruba elite that are busy running around with peter obi campaigning with him ,even consoling him...........where are the key members of the near ineffectual Igbo elite? where are they! For IPOB ,this struggle is existential and it has to be sorted out now!
We are tired of begging fulani and yorubas for our fair portion in the federation, Those who are agitating for Biafra are not brainless nor daft, who says they are not amenable to a peaceful restructuring? He that seeks peace, should always be prepared for war' your pacifist naivety is the reason why IPOB/ESN is today fighting a costly rearguard action! Bros ! we live in a rough neighbourhood, you do not bring a dagger to a fight, where your adversaries are armed with Ak 47s! ..................May god help the corrupt Igbo elite if Peter Obi loses this election..................Ut is not ESN that will deal with them............the people will ostracize them finally!

Continue changing moniker Ekpa brother. Leave this place and face your state.

Stop disturbing our peace with terrorist organization Ipob. One of the world deadliest terrorist group.

What has made the mention of Biafra very very distasteful is the crude and authoritarian manner that some illiterates have pursued and hijacked it. I prefer not to mention it again. After all the sacrifices of people that died in the struggle, we watched mere criminals hijack the struggle just to use it as another money-making venture to scam people!

If Biafra were the Biafra of 1967 that exalted and prioritized innovation, technology, probity, and a general sense of deep patriotism for the progress of the Biafran state, many would still prefer it over Nigeria. The tragedy is that criminals like Simeon Ekpa saw it as a money-making opportunity to grab power and assassinate his perceived enemies. The display of primitiveness and criminality by the so-called "auto-piloters" killed the remaining hope of a successful Biafran state run by credible men of integrity. Which would not end up like another South Sudan run by criminals and warlords once we got our independence. That is why I have sadly observed that every Igboman of substance has distanced themselves from those crooks.

No sane Igboman will want to have anything for with Biafra again because the name means death, destruction of lives and property and money making by never do well who migrated to Europe and have no standard source of living.

The blood of innocent wasted by these criminals is too much. As for Ekpa he came from a place where human lives means nothing. They fight everyday of their lives do blood is nothing to him.

We reject such criminal freedom arrangements.

Lol, as a Nigerian, you are nothing but a British colonial product. Thats why you are claiming the country a British man called Frederick Lugard created, as your own, and also claiming the name "Nigerian", his wife created as your national identity

Your British colonial project called Nigeria is today tye poverty capital of the world and 6th most terrorised country on earth

Igbo land must become independent of such monumental failure, whether as Biafra or some other name Igbos collectively choose
I am happy to be a British colonial product afterall they are not cannibals.

Most terrorised country because Ipob/esn is currently terrorising SE and Boko Haram NE with bandits.

Igboland retrogressed under such Biafra arrangements and will never be so again.

Nigeria was deliberated upon and was given. I am more comfortable being in Nigeria than one illusioned cannibalistic Biafra.

IPOB is a criminal organization and everything about it starts and ends in criminality even her supporters are criminal minded. Such shouldn't be discussed here rather move to where evil activities are discussed in Nairaland and talk about them there.

SE doesn't need to agree to total military operations. Wike didn't invite the whole south south before he flushed Ipob out of Rivers state. He took charge and executed his actions as Governor in charge.

SE is now a destructive acronymn being used to tie others down. Soludo doesn't need the consent or agreement of any SE whatever before he takes decisive step and wipe out the criminals.
