Politics / Should Nigeria And Rivers State Suffer Because Of Jonathan And Amaechi? by ndim(m): 7:25pm On Sep 11, 2013
Why should Nigeria suffer because of you Mr. Jonathan?
Why should Rivers state suffer because of you Mr. Amaechi?
If tears could soften your hearts, I would have cried a River.
My heart bleeds because I see achieved glory crashing.
You have confused the poor masses. You have set confusion amongst your people and frustrated the dreams of many.
Your senseless fight is growing a beast in the heart of young people.
There is so much hatred in the land.
You have forgotten your duties as shepherds and now the flock strays.
You have defied all solutions to peace proffered by those who love you.
Your passion for peace and progress has been overtaken by ego and pride.
You are men but you cowardly jitter over your political prospects in far away 2015.
Rather than work so hard to bring dividends to the people, your are working extremely hard to secure places for yourselves in 2015.
You have totally forgotten that kings are made by God.
You have polarized the system with so many meaningless gang ups.
Many have taken the advantage to suck on you two in order to nourish their political appetites.
You have forgotten totally the importance of good name and legacy.
You have forgotten it is not all about you but about the people.
When will you realise that peace is priceless and that progress depends on it?
When will you let your ego and pride fly?
When will you shield your swords?
When will you come to a round table with open minds, without non-feasible conditions?
Resolve this crisis for the sake of the poor pregnant and non pregnant women in the rural areas without adequate primary health care services.
Resolve this crisis because of the young people who will die fighting your irrelevant fight.
Resolve this crisis for the sake of peace and development.
End this fight! End it now Mr. Jonathan and Mr. Amaechi.
Peace is priceless.

I didn't even bother to read ur voluminous nonsense because obviously it is with the intent of smearing the person of Atiku to serve d interest of d people u believe in. The very fact that it is coming at this time shows clearly that u are biased; i wonder why u never informed us since. Meanwhile, there's none without a bad record so drop the gun, it's too cheap.
Politics / Jonathan: A Prospective Worst Civilian President, If...! by ndim(m): 6:43pm On Sep 07, 2013
I wish that the President would be more wary of his
record, his name and legacy as one time leader of our
dear nation Nigeria. As many suck on him to satisfy their individual quest for upward mobility, and in the guise of kindness and genuine patronage, they step on him, (he, being a willing rung); to move up the political ladder, the result is a rapid erosion of his integrity. Remember Mr. President that what matters more is not how long a Niger Deltan stays in the office but how the world will regard us the Niger Deltans after your reign as the president.

Maybe the following will count as part of ur
achievements: that:
1. Nigeria Governors Forum broke up.
2. Five men in a house of 32 tried to impeech a speaker.
3. A national party of which you are a member broke into pieces.
Watch it Mr. President for the situation is now nothing less than precarious. Be absolutely sure that this syndrome of severance and breakage will not form a chain of reaction with more future unholy events to bring about an abrupt end to a project started in 1914.
If not that, i still think that the crisis is not worth it. Lead us well Mr. President. Think about it.

Billionaires: For someone that worships Sango

For someone that founded and sponsored CULTISM

For someone who married, 1-2-3, 3 women and all 3 left.

For someone who served in a military government and give it legitimacy.

For someone who address women as mere domestic appendage.

For someone who call Amaechi his friend, when he is Governor not when he was nothing not minding age and intellectual difference.

Wole Soyinka's Nobel price on Literature is a mistake and his content of character is questionable.

Wole is MAD.

Am sorry man. But i must say dat dis happens to be one of the most ridiculous posts on dis trend. It lacks objectivity, and u seem to be stuck on matters dat hardly make d list of relevance. But then, i'll let u be on the justification dat u re merely serving the interests of ur dream masters.

U cannot hav the facts because even the miscreants who made their way into d brotherhood do not have the facts.

Don't tell me that nonesense... Norsemen are grown vikings... You guys believe in looting but don't be caught... Your boys here are very active in kidnapping crimes.. All these your stories are pathetic, unless you give your life to christ, the blood oath that you took during your initiation will continue to chase you around with those of the lost ones...

Well, i can see from ur mannerism how better u are than those boys u talk abt. I can also see dat u are fully given to Christ. I am happy because it is written dat judgement wil start in the church. Again, am happy because the judgement will not come from man but from God.

And ther is nothing like loot but dont be caught in the entire norsemen monograph and code of conduct

talktimi: Be not deceived, the vikings are a violent and blood thirsty lot going by their antecedents especially in tertiary institutions in the southern part of the country. Evans Bipi will never chant an akpa slang if he wasnt a norseman. Its their way, i advice those who are interested to check out the history of violence in the rivers state university of science and technology/UNIPORT or NDU in Bayelsa state as case studies then you will know what im talking about.

Go through my post again, this time, read with the intent to understand.

strangest: If you know how many people I lost to cultism in school, mostly to fights between baggers(vikings) and seven men, you won't have opened a thread like this... Jesus loves you

Sorry about your lost brother. But you must know that life generally is full of risks and dangers. Two days ago many died in the Kano twin blast, it wasn't due to cultism as u put it. Secondly, the greatest killers of men is lack of wisdom/intelligence, lack of conscience, ambitiousness, overzealousness and karma. Molest a girl because u re a V, u are cursed even by the old gods and then by the supreme God of creation. Steal from a man who never stole from u and wait for the reward. Shed an innocent blood, you shall die by the same measure. Strong men are advised not to challenge but to accept challenge. My brother, indeed Jesus loves me more than you can ever imagine. And i know what the Lord Jesus expects from me; to be loving and truthful to fellow men, to imbibe and practice the principles stipulated in the beatitude (mat 5) and to allow the flow of the fruits of the spirit as stated in Galatians 5:22. These are standards of christianity and love is the pivot of all laws.

Pls sir, I want you to understand that the days of canvassing for members in the norsemen kclub are gone. The organization fell prey to having bad heads as members; people who used the brotherhood as a means of achieving their selfish evil motives. I really dont care about brainwashing as u put it, the brotherhood is more concerned with rebuilding her image through excommunicating bad elements and finding ways of making meaningful contributions in advancing democracy and industrialization.
Politics / The Facts About Norsemen Kclub: Why Evans Bipi Is Not A Norseman. by ndim(m): 1:07am On Aug 01, 2013
The Norsemen kclub is no doubt an extract of the Scandinavian VIKINGS, a society of people you may call the adventurers, the voyagers, sailors or warriors whose survival depended on explorations and conquests. They were the worshipers of Odin otherwise known as Waden. They believed in a version of heaven which they referred to as ASGARD. They worshipped in temples like the one below. Their education was based on the Runes of Vikings and the Nordic or North language. They were open to change, so when they encountered christianity, they embraced it and dumped the old gods. These old gods now serve the purpose of history and identity.

It is true that in 1982, this religion was embraced in Nigeria as a fraternity of men. It was not purposed for criminality, political intimidation or thugery. It was meant to breed courageous intellectual Nigerians who would stand bravely even at the face of death in the hands of the military. It was meant to strengthen academic unionism and deter oppression from lecturers and others. The ways of the Vikings were simply domesticated to suit the peculiarity of the environment. It is legitimately registered as De Norsemen Kclub International. Over times, members have in accordance wit what they know about the Vikings attempted to impose various names like Supreme Vikings Confraternity, the Adventurers, the sea kings, etc, the fact is that; the organization is lawfully known as De Norsemen Kclub.

Responding to social changes, the fraternity has formally established itself as an of campus fellowship. Yet there are persons who would not accept this reality and continues to project a group known as SVC. This group is not alienated from Norsemen because they bear the same identity with the Norsemen and observe the same traditions but they differ in code of conduct.

It must be clear therefore that Hon. EVANS BIPI of the Rivers State House of assembly who went to the House with some boys and chanted some Norsical language does not in any way represent what the Norsemen stands for. He is not a Norseman and must be totally disregarded. The Norsemen aspires to govern Nigeria and better the lives of the people but not by buldozing our way into the rostrum of leadership. As a matter of fact, there are today professors, judges, pastors, soldiers, police men, bankers, governors, rep members, senators, ministers etc who are Norsemen. But the brotherhood will not hesitate to dissociate itself from any man, irrespective of his socio-economic status, who displays questionable character.

Politics / Rivers State And Bad Politics In Nigeria. by ndim(m): 10:33am On Jul 31, 2013
RIVERS STATE AND BAD POLITICS IN NIGERIA

We were here before 1967, separated by nature into groups. We are distinct in many ways. Our fore-fathers, our chiefs, gems and better dreamers, who looked beyond our tribal differences and the comfort of the moment into the future, conceived the thought of a unification under a separate autonomous province. However, determined to sustain the half-baked integration, the Western power introduced the Willinks who became the father of NDDB which was intended to allay the fear of the minority. NDDB was rather prodigal and could not meet the aspirations of the natives. There came the revolutionary BORO with a strong will to enforce the independence of the natives. But with a strong hammer and guided by a solid resolve to promote and advance the existence of one indivisible Nigeria, the BORO's upsurge was quashed. Collectively, we did not attempt to further the BORO's approach for an independent Niger Delta. We chose with honour, to collapse our ethnic interest into that of Nigeria bringing about the existence of Rivers State as a political entity in 1967. From the days of Alfred Diete Spiff, we have remained together, strong and prosperous. When ever we erred, politics is the reason.

Once upon a time, the state was militarized, politics is the reason. Guns became handouts, politics is the reason. Mothers cried and waited d return of their sons; politics. Men of political, economic, and academic substance were exterminated, politics is the reason. Values were eroded; it is politics. Humans lost sense of basic natural rights and lived in fear and grief, politics is the reason.

Why must we suffer because of politics? Why must payment of allowances and salaries be put on hold because of politics? Why must the youths be polarized and encouraged to draw swords again because of politics? Why must a brother hate his brother because of politics? Why must the elites constantly take delight in deceiving the common man because of politics? Why will a woman loose the sense of motherhood and nation building because of politics? Why will ego and pride override a man's sense of humility and selflessness because of politics? Why must political ambition be crowned with desperacy? Why must the system collapse because a man wants to ascend? Is it so in the United States? Is it so in United Kingdom? What about Canada, Australia, France, Russia or even China?

Is it not for the purpose of human development that politics exist? Is it not the character of politics for parties and individuals to differ in some issues and interests? Is it not appropriate to intellectually convince rather than coerce people into believing in your cause? What is politics? When did it become a death race game of hate and murder?

Why can't we work together because of politics? Why can't we let go of our pride and ego because of politics? Why can't we put first the interest of the people for whom we were chosen to serve above ours because of politics?

Oh political masters of the North, South, East and West, refrain from taking advantage of the gullibility of our mothers and fathers. Do you not see how the career and future of the young generation hang in the balance due to your senseless tussle? Why have you hardened your minds? How will posterity judge you? Have you no fear for the Architect of the universe? Or have you no respect for the labours of our heroes past? Remember the contributions of these men and women towards the development and the glory of our dear nation Nigeria: Bishop Samuel Ajayi Crowther
- Herbert Macaulay
- Nigeria's Atlanta 1996 Olympic Football Team
- Chief Obafemi Awolowo
- Christopher Okigbo
- Chief Nnamdi Azikwe - Alhaji Ahmadu Bello
- Alhaji Aminu Kano
- Prof. Wole Soyinka
- Fela Kuti
- Chief Gani Fawenhimi -Chief, Anthony Enahoro - MRS. Margaret Ekpo, -Onyeka Owenu - Queen Amina of Zaria - Moremi Ajasoro - Christina Anyanwu - Bolanle Awe - Lola Ayorinde - Buchi Emecheta - Rebecca Ikpe - Major General Aderonke Kale - Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti - Dr. Bene Madunagu - Flora Nwapa - Chief Bisi Ogunleye - Dr. Elizabeth Dupe Ojo - Synclair - and Mrs. Bisoye Tejuosho.

Now ask yourselves, what have you to offer this nation? What legacy will you leave behind? What will Nigerians remember you for? Rivers leaders, do not forget Chief Wobidike Wonodi (SAN), Chief Nwuke, Chief O. B. Lulu Briggs (OON, DCF), Senator Francis John Ellah (OFR), Professor Isaac John Dema, Chief Daniel Ojukalio and many others whose lofty deeds keeps them in the good book of history. When i look at the treachery in the guise of politics in our state, when i consider the high level of scramble for the state treasury, i am tempted to question the certainty of the future of the young generation. May God bless our leaders with wisdom and may God bless the people of rivers State in these trying times.

The impetus that drove you into such derogatory reference of a universally acknowledged man of nobility is a replica of the impunity that thrive in the camp of the so called the grand commanders of rivers politics, which suddenly you are bat like to see. Being a rivers man and actively so, i state with authority that the man Amaechi is a victim caught in the web of men with misplaced ambitions; desperados operating with the principle of elimination. It will take the likes of the great Prof who have seen it all to speak on such high profile political cold war.
The fact that you regard the rivers crisis as too trivial to involve Prof. simply means that you lack the understanding of the political system. Nigeria is a federated union and the governor of a state is an executive head; the CSO and the chief administrator of that tier. This is not because i said so, it is the provision of the nigerian constitution. As the Prof rightly said, the first lady is a mere domestic appendage of power. No better way to describe her position than that. This lady, not the president has obviously attempted to defy the sanctity of state authority, almost running a parallel government in rivers state (and you know this). Let me remind u that it is not Amaechi that is under threat, it is our constitution. The Prof has always been an activist who has given much to sustain a good image for our dear nation. Can you please name a man or woman in ur entire family who has made any meaningful contribution for the development of nigeria? If there is none, then i will comfortably say that you are deluded for ever calling the Prof a mad man. On the other hand it is better to be a mad philosopher like Prof Wole Soyinka than being a wise fool like you and ur cohorts. People like u would honor and shoot cannons for militants who returned with luxury than pay small respect to great intellectuals and academia like the great Prof.

Let me again remind you that the Prof is a great asset to nigeria and has brought international recognition to the country. You are therefore morally bound to respect him. He is a model, a man u must aspire to be like. Tha

Well, we must understand that there were actors in the polity prior to the reign of Gowon and Ojukwu. These nationalists as they volunteered to be, were meant not only to achieve an independent status for our country but to also cosolidate and harmonise the diverse interests existing herein. In this aspect, i must say that they failed wofely. Politics was regionised, Azikiwe to the east, Tafawa to the north and Awolowo to the west. Suspicion emerged, the drive for control of resources rised and enemity ensewed. Civil war therefore, is simply an effect of undetected political blunders of the past sad and was never cooked up to subdue any region of Nigeria. Let us not blame Ojukwu or Gowon. I think we should rather look into the mistakes of our founding fathers and seek the propper means for resolving them for the sake of todays nigeria. Politically, as the chief executive, it was the DUTY of Gowon to keep nigeria together. For intellectuals, there is no other logic than the above fact.

They have refused 2 properly integrate (the east) or allow true federalism (northerns). There's goin 2 b light if we cut of from national creed and make it state. We will hav good roads if d state control their resources and pay little to sustain d centre. There should be a national and state system of education. Why cant people remain in their churches? Everybody wants 2 open a church and be a pastor instead of helping to develope d one they re already members. The funny tin is dat most of dem pastors behave like outlaws. Tell dem not 2 disturb d neighbourhood, they call u a wizard or witch. They tink d government doesn't even have d right 2 regulate their operations. I wonder how any law on noise pollution can work in nigeria, since pastors tink they hav a divine right to do as they like. Well d tin is dat it wil b difficult 4 any country 2 develop if there re hindrances to d makin and implementation of laws.
