Days after Minister of Agriculture says N30 can feed a person in Kano, Nigerian man goes to a canteen in Kano to eat and pays N30. He was almost beaten.

Few days ago, the Minister of Agriculture, Muhammad Sabo Nanono, said that there is no hunger in Nigeria and that food is so cheap in Nigeria that with N30, one can eat to his or her satisfaction in a canteen in a state like Kano.

Well, a Nigerian man took his word for it and went to a canteen in Kano state this morning, ordered for so much, ate to his satisfaction and paid the food vendor N30. He told the food vendor that the Honorable Minister said with N30, he can eat to his satisfaction.

He was lucky to leave the place without an injury as the food vendor and his friends almost beat him up.

Journalist, Gimba Kakanda, who shared a video from the scene on Twitter, wrote:

This citizen took a cue from the Minister of Agriculture, Sabo Nanono, who said that one can eat N30 worth of food in Kano and be satisfied. What happened when he decided to pay N30 for the meal is what attracted this mob. The poor chap even told them that he got the information on the new price of food from Sabo Nanono, and one of the mob asked if Nanono was the food vendor’s father.

Big Brother Naija housemate, Ike got fans talking after he was spotted chatting with Tacha after his argument with his boo, Mercy.

Recall that the duo had gotten into a heated argument about moving his belongings of which his Bet9ja Coins were among. Ike told her that it showed zero respect on her part.

This didn’t sit well with Mercy as she felt he insulted her all because she tried to create space for his properties in the locker room. It got to a point she requested that they share their Coins so that both parties can manage theirs separately.

Shortly after that, Ike, who was still upset, needed someone to vent to and chose to do so with Tacha as he feels comfortable talking to her.

He explained what had happened and how he felt he was being disrespected by her. She just sat there and listened to him as he ranted.
