he has always been a fake man, so am not surprised he chose this wrong party! APC has no business in Igboland, Rochas just handed an APGA party to APC and used power of incumbency to win re-election. APC will be booted out of South East in 2019! No matter what happens at the centre we don't care! |
PDP needs a well managed and transparent primary process from the ward level up to Presidency in order to manage this defections They can not do horse trading and imposition of candidates |
PDP should not take these defections and goodwill of Nigerians for granted I will like to see a proper transparent Presidential primary and ahead of that candidates running on PDP platform should be made to debate 3 times on the following topics and in different locations Abuja debate should focus on National Security/Boko Haram/Fulani Herdsmen Lagos debate should focus on Nigerian Economy/Diversification Port Harcourt debate to focus of Post-Crude-Oil Nigeria as per electric cars in the WEST /Environment Protection/ Nigerian Diversity Imagine the kind of following PDP will generate from the likes of Saraki, Atiku, Kwakwanso, Tambuwal, Sule Lamido going round the country in a marathon debate on Nigeria geo-political issues. That will take the Presidential run to levels that Buhari will not be able to keep up with. But if PDP do the backroom horse trading like before, then that will hand Buhari the race! |
where is the plane? |
Welcome Home Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, the next President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria! |

where is the plane? Another 2019 campaign stunt based on something that is not really there! Please call us back when you have the plane jare |
if this is true someone in INEC needs to go to Prison for it! this nonsense must stop |
I hope this can usher in a new beginning in which INEC will start providing a feedback/report on election that represents reality No one expects INEC to be responsible for the behaviour of politicians, but INEC must report events as they are. Any attempt by INEC to report some electoral eutopia that don't exist simply makes INEC complicit in the rigging system I think we need to even get to a point where it becomes a criminal offence for INEC representatives at polling units not to report electoral malpractices as they see them and it should be punishable under law if proven in court In the same vein the wages of INEC permanent staff should be reviewed and ensured its a living wage! |
when next you see your parents call them fools! They obviously gave you no home training!Newpride: idiot! |
goshee:Don't mind the fools, they hold Saraki to a completely different standard and will not subject Buhari to 1/10 of such standard Yusuf Buhari is an IT Mogul commanding million dollar investments eventhough he has not worked before in his own right and his father kept on declaring 150 cows and 2 houses as their only assets for over a period of 12 years before 2015! |
coleon:I am pretty sure I am older than you. I am surely old enough to know not to call a man not convicted by any law court a thief. Saraki may have come from PDP before becoming an APC Senator but this is the closest split in the Senate since 1999 between number of ruling party and opposition Senators. And yet under Saraki's leadership the 8Th Senate has passed more bills than any other Senate in the history of Nigeria, his Senate leadership has also managed to keep the executive honest without any real threat of the Senate President being impeached. It takes a lot of political skill to navigate this situation as smoothly as Saraki has done in a Nigerian political climate always driven by money and tribal politics. When he was Chairman of Governor's forum he commanded a lot of respect among his peers. He is still doing the same in the Senate. In Kwara he had the foresight to betray the will of his own father and support someone outside of his family to succeed him as Governor. That for me is leadership and foresight. Ability to win Nigeria's Presidential election does not equate to political sophistication. Our politics at the moment is quite backward and primitive and as such is not the correct benchmark to rate an aspiring world class politician. It does not matter what happens in 2019, the fact remains that Saraki is a far better poltician than Buhari! |
SternProphet:Just so you know, Nigeria does not have N9.2 trillion sitting somewhere waiting to be spent on 2018 budget. The money will have to be sourced Our ability to fund our budget is subject to the gyrations of the price of brent crude in the International Oil Market! So the Buhari presidency can not make savings from an Imaginary budget (in the words of Abaribe) to fund this 242billion naira election! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0RtZGT3pys |
SternProphet:they are the same, the reason they are not the same in Nigeria is lack of focus. the objective of an anti-corruption fight is to recover wasted resources and also reduce future waste in government. part of reducing waste include the current government not spending too much locking up 100 big men will not put garri on anyone's table. The reason you lock people up is to deter future politicians from wasting our resources so that there will be more money to invest in the Nation. Anti-Corruption fight is not an end in itself, it is only a means to an end. The end being reduction in waste of Nigeria's resources. The problem is you Buhari supporters and Buhari himself don't understand this simple fact! The budget itself is bloated and this failure falls squarely on Buhari's lap. He is supposed to announce a streamlined budget and he has not done this in the last 3 years. see Abaribe questioning Saint Buhari's budget and why he keeps budgeting billions for buying computer and cooking equipment every year and yet we are fighting corruption? Anti-Corruption should start from a streamlined budget! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lq1D6S1IRWI |
SternProphet:Mr Wisdom is the money for the original budget plucked from air? 120billion or 244 billion is still too much for a government that has made its mantra anti-corruption This is more money to fund future corruption in government! |
I am fighting corruption but I will never do anything to streamline spending! This is the kind of nonsense that Buhari's Government has become. |
ofwest47:do you know what literacy means? loyalty to a political leader does not qualify kwarans as illiterates |
Saraki has the temperament of a Good Leader and a Great President Very loyal to his loyalist that is why he commands a lot of wilful loyalty in Kwara State and NASS. His fellow Governors were also very loyal to him when he was Chairman of Governor's Forum For me amongst the current front line politicians, Saraki is the best candidate to emerge President in 2019. I will happily vote him we need a President who understands the rule of law and importance of building institutiions to take responsibility. We also need a President who can appreciate our diversity as a Nation and help build a modern economy. Buhari does not understand or represent any of the above! Buhari does not even know how to fight corruption. A useful fight against corruption will start from streamlined budget that reduces waste, reduce the size of Government and plug all wasteful Government expenditures like the subsidy scam which Saraki helped to expose. Most Nigerian Politicians are exposed to corruption allegation. it makes no sense trying to refight the fights of yesteryears, we need to wipe the board clean and start afresh with very stringent Government procurement policies that makes it harder to steal rather than wait for people to steal so that you can arrest your political enemies among them! |
make sure you have evidence to show in court before you waste our time with arrest |
how much did Ekiti election cost? why do we spend so much money on a process that means nothing? if the election will not reflect the will of the people then lets cancel elections in Nigeria |
all election rigging by the Government happen between the polling unit and collation centres INEC can take some simple steps to ensure our elections are no longer at risk of rigging and hence no need for 30,000 |
denko:Oshiomole is trying to bring his collation center rigging strategy from Edo to Ekiti Ekiti people must resist Oshiomole |
Oblang:again in the end it is not the place of INEC to react to this conflicting results in the social media. INEC should do their jobs with due deligence. There are trusted media houses who are following the result on ground! |
Fuckingmallam45:In elections sanctity of the process should matter more than the result. INEC behaviour is aiding rigging. it does not matter who wins, whether PDP or APC I blame INEC for the shambles! |
naptu2:my dear this is nonsense The secrecy is the reason our elections are shambles. if the results are announced at the polling units then the final result should be the sum of all the results announced at the polling units. INEC should do more to encourage transparency. Disputing the results announced by the media is not the answer. INEC should learn to be accountable. Their attitude at the moment is giving room to changing the results at the collation centres! This behaviour is quite primitive. The funny thing is all Nigerians know this is what politicians do and hence why INEC is disputing the results! |
greggng:so why is INEC so interested is disputing the results in the media. they should do their jobs with due deligence and it should not be their jobs to deny or agree with the results in the media the denial of the results already announced shows INEC has something to hide! |
why is INEC concerned about disputing results already announced in the media if they have nothing to hide |
INEC should go to hell Serious countries announce results at the polling units and hence before electoral commission conclude their job media houses are able to sum the results and announce. The final result by the electoral commission is not usually far off from that announce by the media so why is our things always different? Why is INEC disputing results by social media before they even collate results INEC is so corrupt! they are the reason for the madness we call elections! |
2019 everyone should go and buy their own guns and their own armoured tank! Buhari does not do peace, fair play or justice if you want Buhari out of office you must shoot him out of office. it is that simple. The election will not be free and fair |
