If you don't have to spend so much to attend the interview, please go. What's the essence of life if you aren't willing to take risks? Just make sure that you don't use an isolated venue for the interview.

Alternatively, tell them that you had an emergency and ask for a virtual interview. If they decline it, you move on with your life.
