A project to pasta time away Everybody loves pasta. It’s a cheap source of calories, it’s easy to cook, and it comes in lots of cute shapes like bow ties. It’s so great that, perhaps a little unfairly, it’s become a little pigeonholed as just being a food....https://www.xduster.com/look-this-pc-made-out-of-pasta/

Would you pay $3,200 ( N1,152,000.00 price est.) for one? While various organizations are grasping the possibility of a foldable phone, we haven’t heard much from Apple about any plans it might need to get on board with the temporary fad. In any case, Russian producer Caviar has thought of a concept structure for an adaptable iPhone that is not normal for some other bendable we’ve seen up until this point...https://www.xduster.com/look-at-this-iphone-z-folding-phone-concept-video/

Massive 5120 x 1440 Super-Ultra Wide Display We’re not sure if super-ultrawide is the official term for these sorts of displays, but they’re wider than a standard ultrawide so we feel it kinda works well here. Maybe double-wide is more appropriate? In any case, Dell’s latest ultrawide monitor, the UltraSharp U4919DW is very wide and pretty massive overall...https://www.xduster.com/dell-ultrasharp-u4919dw-monitor-review/

WHAT! Look closely at the picture above, and you can see a small bulge right on the crease of my Galaxy Fold review unit. It’s just enough to slightly distort the screen, and I can feel it under my finger. There’s something pressing up against the screen at the hinge, right there in the crease. My best guess is that it’s a piece of debris, something harder than lint for sure. It’s possible that it’s something else, though, like the hinge itself on a defective unit pressing up on the screen...https://www.xduster.com/my-samsung-galaxy-fold-screen-broke-after-just-a-day/

Intel readying Xeon Gold U-series to combat Epyc P-series The new CPUs would cost roughly half of Xeon Platinum A report from ServeTheHome claims Intel has the Xeon Gold U-series of CPUs up its sleeve to hold AMD’s Epyc at bay. If true, this is likely a direct response to AMD’s aggressive price/performance ratio with the Epyc P-series in the single socket server market. This is what competition looks like...https://www.xduster.com/intel-readying-xeon-gold-u-series-to-combat-epyc-p-series/

Windows updates are up to their old tricks. Users on various forums are reporting issues after installing the April 2019 cumulative updates and Windows 7 users appear to be especially affected. Additionally, the updates are conflicting with certain antivirus software like Avast and Avira. This update is another in what’s becoming a string of botched updates from Microsoft, going back to October of last year.https://www.xduster.com/windows-updates-are-at-it-again-reportedly-hanging-and-slowing-down-systems/

Intel demos the 400G, a 400Gbps transceiver for the datacenter Intel has touted the benefits of silicon photonics (mixing optical and electrical parts) for over a decade, and for good reason. It’s intuitive that a signal based on light would move faster, operate a higher density and require less power, but obviously it’s hard to sustain a signal as delicate as light. However, after reaching one million 100G optical transceivers sold per year, Intel is finally dialing up production and preparing to launch the 400G.https://www.xduster.com/intel-demos-the-400g-a-400gbps-transceiver-for-the-datacenter/

Samsung’s Galaxy S10 fingerprint sensor fooled by 3D printed fingerprint In recent years, smartphone manufacturers have been implementing advanced features for users to secure their devices, using fingerprint readers, face mapping, and even sensors that map out the blood veins in the palm of your hand.
