@Ibime.

It is called time. Scolari is a top class manager and a great tactician. I know how it really hurts to lose to any of the big four but he needs time to do that. Even though Mourinho was never defeated by Wenger and Ferguson, he had a tough time with Liverpool and he constantly failed to impress against them.

He will find a formula for them. He has done very well as far as I am concerned. . . It's just his first season and he will be better.

Nateevs,
FYI, SAF defeated mourinho.

the first sign of love is jealousy
The rate at which u r goin about dissing united faithfuls only says one thing - U are jealous of us and wish u were a fan of the world's best club. But sorry to disappoint u, no vacancy for pips like u.

Its not a surprise that chelsea lost at home cos it was bound to happen someday. Chelsea fans made it sound as if SB was impregnable.
Man U shhok the foundation and left it fragile, then came Liverpool who uprooted the bridge. U guys are no longer invincible at SB after all

A loss is a loss.

Whether its in October or in March

The Bridge has finally succumbed to pressure.

Man U shook the foundation, Liverpool uprooted it. Lets see what the Gunners will do wen they visit

If I remember correctly - Man Utd are known as the Red Devils and NOT the Redshuhhuh? The appellation "The Reds" rightfully belongs to the most successful British Club of all time Liverpool, Need to update yr history u know,
I need not remind u that some reds are redder than others plus we have always been ur nitemare save for a little blunder.
You will know your riteful position very soon. I remember u guys topping the league for about two weeks last season particularly after beating derby 6 nil.

I can however assure u that ur history will soon be discarded cos man u is only 3 trophies from matching your record (one EPL and 2 UCL).

segy, remember we are not just reds but devilish reds

@A-40
I agree with you. But unless liverpool prove us wrong, they will falter along the way. Its their trademark. They have an edge cos they can do a double over chelsea, but thinking that they still have to go to OT and the emirates, then the league is still open.

If they maintain this momentum then they can have a good shot at the trophy but if they falter then am sorry.

The league is won in May and not december. december, to me is a period when u play 4 games over ten days. that tests the depth of ones squad and foe teams with thin squad there may be problems cos by January, teams would be consolidating.

I however see this title race going to the wire. It will be decided on the last day of the season.

Well, my shoulders are stil high because people are celebrating a jinx which clearly shows d blues superiority.
I agree our bridge fell today but I am consoled by d fact that d reds always fall 4 small clubs.
We wil come back to our normal position in d table within d shortest time (atmost 2matches).
Congrats to d liverpool fans 4 they have done what others haven't bn able to do.

While to my great BLUES fans, we should be proud all clubs are striving to beat a giant.
We have made d premiership tough and I'm proud of that.

BLUES TILL I QUENCH!!!!!

Phizman,
Mind you, no club plays with the intention of losing. So every club that went to the bridge b4 it crumbled went there to win. The fact was that ur unbeaten HOME record was overblown. Am glad it has come to an end. U can start counting all over.

Besides, all clubs have their own records which will be broken someday.

Only Arsenal has gone unbeaten in the EPL
Man U has the highest number of goals in the EPL
Man U is the Only team to have won the EPL 3 times in a row
Liverpool has the highest number of league titles.

So if u guys feel u have a record then other teams have records they can boast of. They just don't overblow it like u do.

CR7 hasn't lived up to expectations cos i expect him to have peaked after about 4 matches, but thats yet to happen. He plays much more cautiously these days. Lets give him some few more matches and see if he can reenact his form of last season cos this time last season he had scored just about 3 goals.

No need to say anything. Zola knows better.

During his playing days with Chelsea, he was taught several lessons by SAF

The tutorials continue for Zola by Wednesday.

its a long way to go. Liverpool has started the season well. kudos to them. however, the traditional 4-horse-race will soon begin.

The real fireworks begin in december and by january we will know the directions the trophy is pointing.

At this stage last season, Arsenal had more points than liverpool presently have but they ended up third, lets see how the season pans out

STAMFORD BRIDGE COLLAPSES

The bridge which has been showing signs of cracking since the visit of manchester united on the 23rd of September has finally caved in.

It took only 9 mins for a spaniard named Xabi Alonso to shoot the bridge down. All efforts made by the technical team led by Scolari to prevent the bridge from crumbling proved abortive as the kops made sure the bridge capitulated.

However,Julius Berger, Sonel Boneh and Schlumberger have been called in to assess the damage done to the bridge.

It is hoped that the firms will do a good job in bringing the bridge back to its former position.

Liverpool is in a bullish mood; No doubt.

I however feel we should step up our game. We lost at Anfield and dropped points yesterday cos we were cowed by the opponents and we gave in. Its like teams have decided to apply a physical approach wen playing us. We cant change their pattern of play but we can step up our physical side.

We have players who can do that but they prefer to play soft even when been bullied save for Rooney. Tevez, Brown, Evra, Hargo, Ando, Rio are players who can match any physical opposition.

Man U cracked the foundation, Liverpool did the damage

No more Invincibility at the bridge

@criz
dats exactly my point. Tevez is too good a player to be starting fro the bench most times. I just feel he is a victim of circumstance.

But come to think of it, how would SAF satisfy all these guys wen they are all fully fit. Only the back four will be kinda consistent. The MF has Ronaldo, Giggs, Hargo, Carrick, Scholes, Nani, Fletcher, Park, Anderson, competing for four spaces.

I pray this doesnt cause some kind of unrest among the players

I actually included Oshea cos i feel he's in the same class with the west bromites.
we hope Nani won't misbehave if he gets to play
I still believe Tevez should start while Berba comes on later. Berbatov has started all matches he has been fit and has not been substituted. I hope SAF is not over-indulging him. However he has an outside chance to score tomorrrow
Terry is fit AGAIN. . . . . .So they are not really depleted.
Alex n Terry with Ivanovix and Ashley Cole as wing backs ain't a bad set up.
They have Mikel, Lampard, Malouda, Joe Cole, Kalou, Anelka and Drogba!!!!
Drogba is still injured
a fit Anelka is as good as injured
Malouda - aint much of a threat

Terry might still lack match fitness and with a Cudicini in goal, any team will fancy their chances right now.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by ndumart: 10:05pm On Oct 17, 2008
We have a pretty tight midfield to make mincemeat of WBA. The likes of Fletcher, Ando, Park, Giggs, Nani, Oshea can do a good job.

Am however itching to see Tevez start ahead of Berba. Berba can com on later if need be. Tevez just doesnt deserve to be on that bench. It seems he is paying the price for berba's arrival. Am predicting 3-0 with Rooney grabbing one of the goals.

Wish we were playing chelsea tmrw. They have a pretty depleted squad. No Cech, Ballack, Essien, Carvalho, Deco. We would have chopped them to pieces.
