Politics › Re: Why Is NLC Not Compelling Abia State To Pay The Old Minimum Wage? by nedu666: 8:04pm On Jun 12, 2024 |
ShinnBet: Abia state alongside , Anambra, Imo and Enugu are the only states that have refused to implement the current minimum wage of 30k approved five years ago by the Buhari led adminstration.
Imo state was picketed by NLC a few days before the gubernatorial elections in what everyone saw as a partisan attempt to get LP into Doughlas House, Owerri.
Why has the NLC not mount the same pressure on Abia state at least , which is being governed by LP - the political wing of the NLC?
And to the crass Obidient mob, why are you not mounting pressure on your own governor in Abia to pay a descent wage to Abia civil servants ? Is it only the FG and federal civil servants plight that you care about ? Consolation thread for hamas supporters. Anytime lsreal kill terrorist, supporters open lgbo threads. |
Politics › Re: SE Legislators Will Unanimously Oppose A Return To Regional Govt. by nedu666: 8:01pm On Jun 12, 2024 |
ShinnBet: Forget that IPOB revionist Gidgiddy who is always posting half truths and blatant lies in an attempt to exonerate the role of Ironsi and Enugu in dismantling our regional system of governance.
I want the privately drafted bill sent to Tinubu to be reworked and sent as an executive bill to the Senate and House of Reps for deliberation. Because it is that time you will see all SE legislators opposing the bill with all they have just as they staged a walk out during plenary hearings for an executive bill seeking to set 25% allocation from oil revenue to oil producing states. Wabara led the walkout and in another session , stood up and opposed the bill claiming "it won't be beneficial to my people". This was because at the time of the bill being debated, federal allocations to states were done exclusively on population basis so much so that the oil rich Niger Delta state got far less than any state in the SE and polity at large.
It only took the gentleman Yaradua to dust up the bill for payment of royalties to oil producing states from where he succeeded in getting 13% derivative to oil producing states.
Now it's important I point this history out because any bill seeking a return to true federalism and regional governance will see to the SE becoming very poor in terms of revenue as the majority of revenue used to run their states still come from federal handouts.
So with this in mind and past antecedents of SE politics dating back to Ironsi , do you think SE legislators will support any piece of legislature that will return Nigeria back to her original template at independence ?
The answer is a big No! You are truly jobless. You have created several topics on this same issue using Chiefjusfuc, Hilterwasright, Magicbishop. Anytime lsreal kill Palestine, you run to open thread on lgbo to console ya self. You better join hamas |

SoNature: Those companies should go and check why they ran out of business.
For goodness' sakes, we don't even have stable electricity in this country, meaning that generators support 80% of our economy.
If you can use 200k to run your factory generator every month, why can't you pay 100k in power bills? Which factory spends 200k on generator? Unless you are a pure water factory using 4.5kv and petrol. Big factories run on diesel and big generator which can use 5 to 10k litres a week depending on number of shifts. |

Politics › Re: Why Nigerians Must Push For Impeachment Of Tinubu by nedu666: 10:06pm On Jun 11, 2024 |
Bebigiby1: In May 2023 I made a post regarding the dangers of allowing Tinubu and the evil APC government to continue to rule the country, many tribalistic foolish people in this forum were quick to attack the thread without offering any reasonable explanation to justify the illegal presidential election that was rigged in favor of Tinubu…. Today, many of those who were championing hateful tribal propaganda after the election in support of Tinubu can’t afford to eat 2 square meals or pay their bills, it gets worse as unemployment rate rises due many businesses leaving Nigeria….
When Tinubu told Nigerians that his government will continue from Buhari stopped many people thought it was a joke and didn’t take it seriously… it is this unserious attitude and sentiments of many Nigerians to national issues that has led us to where we are now…. It is no longer news that this government has failed and lacks the capacity to make policies that will address the numerous challenges facing the country…. Allowing the government to continue means a guaranteed path to the destruction of Nigeria’s economy. I am of the opinion that Nigerians should in earnest begin to mobilize for mass peaceful agitation to push for the removal of this bad government before Tinubu destroys the country completely…. A bag of beans is now over N100,000 how bad will it get until Nigerians wake up to the reality of their destruction…..
Nigeria appears to be a failed state today due to the rising cost of living, insecurity and political corruption caused by this government’s bad policies, looting of our common wealth and incompetance of Buhari and his governement in the last 8 years. It is glaring that Tinubu's presidency was the final nail in the coffin to a nation with a debt ridden economy and insatiable greedy corrupt government officials. If Nigerians continue to seat and do nothing or waiting until 2027 then Nigeria may not exist by then as it is on it's last lap and we may never recover as nation as Tinubu and his cronies in the National Assembly would’ve borrowed trillions upon trillions to loot, dashing any hopes of reviving the nation’s economy by 2027.
After one year of this bad government, one thing that we should all learn from past events should be that no one gains from tribalism and religious sentiments, it is a useless foolish ideology and if some Nigerians have refused to learn now, they will surely learn the hard way as the economy continues its downward trajectory due to Tinubu’s bad economic policies and looting campaign of politicians in all arms of the government….
There is no other way, Nigerians youths must rise above ethnic and religious sentiments to reject the continued existence of the evil APC government, Tinubu has nothing to offer Nigerians, he should be pressed to resign or be impeached and his incompetent government dissolved so as to enable competent people to come in and rescue this country’s economy before it is too late! Op lie lie. Tinubu must finish Nigeria patapata. Nothing must remain |
