And with Abure now declaring no automatic ticket for Obi, which translates to Abure declaring that Obi won't get the ticket in the next Presidential Primaries, it's safe to say that Obi will be shopping for another obscure party to hijack and use as his SPV for the next elections.

Obi will not return to the PDP because I can bet everything that they won't accept him back and even if they did, they will allow him to contest for their ticket and not give it to him so that Obi won't be on the ballot proper.

So that leaves Obi with only two choices : find another obscure party that he can bully his way unopposed to secure their ticket or form a party from scratch.

As for the latter, I don't see Obi forming a formidable party from scratch because he doesn't have the political bridge across the country. Entering into a merger is also out of the question because that will entail Obi being a junior party to whatever heavy weight party out there and so he won't be given the Presidential ticket but get at best a VP position.

I would have considered APGA, but that party is too sectional and is considered as a regional ethnic party. Also, Obi won't find a welcoming mat if he went back to APGA. He will most likely face a humiliation ritual of contesting the ticket only to lose .

So that aside, we are down to Obi decamping to another obscure party that will serve as his special purpose vehicle.

So which Party will Obi deflect to ?
