Nairaland General › Re: Based on your birth year, which of these generational groups do you belong? by Nedum001(m): 2:41pm On Mar 23, 2024 |
Toks2008: Generations are typically categorized based on shared birth years and common life experiences. While there can be variations and overlap, here are some commonly recognized generations:
1. Silent Generation: Born approximately between 1928 and 1945, the Silent Generation experienced significant events such as World War II, the Great Depression, and the post-war economic boom. They are known for their traditional values and work ethic.
2. Baby Boomers: Born approximately between 1946 and 1964, Baby Boomers are characterized by the significant increase in birth rates following World War II. They experienced cultural shifts, such as the civil rights movement, the sexual revolution, and the rise of television.
3. Generation X: Born approximately between 1965 and 1980, Generation X grew up during a time of social and economic change, including the end of the Cold War, the rise of technology, and changing family structures. They are often associated with independence and scepticism.
4. Millennials (Generation Y): Born approximately between 1981 and 1996, Millennials came of age during the digital revolution and globalization. They are known for their comfort with technology, diverse perspectives, and focus on work-life balance.
5.Generation Z (Zoomers): Born approximately between 1997 and 2012, Generation Z is the first generation to grow up entirely in the digital age. They are characterized by their fluency with technology, social media usage, and concern for social and environmental issues.
6.Generation Alpha: Born approximately from 2013 onwards, Generation Alpha includes children born to Millennials and Generation Z. As the youngest generation, they are still growing up, but they are expected to be highly connected, technologically savvy, and diverse.
These generational labels are often used to analyze social trends, consumer behavior, and cultural shifts, but it's important to remember that individuals within each generation are diverse and may not fit neatly into stereotypes. Additionally, definitions and boundaries of generations may vary depending on cultural and regional factors. Gen Z Born 1998...10th of May. Omo, I don dey old small and momey neva dey |

Romance › Re: No Shaving And Taking A Photo Everyday Until I Make $500 by Nedum001(m): 11:20am On Mar 23, 2024 |
SuperOnyi:
Will I be permitted to join you in this mission boss? I have a lot of responsibilities too. We can work together, bring up ideas on how to achieve this goal. What do you say?
Yes, I'm gonna be taking a photo everyday and won't be shaving my beards until I make $500. I have been wanting to take a photo everyday since I was a teenager but I spent most of my teenage years in prison so I didn't get to do that. This is because I didn't know I would turn 18, I thought I would die before I reached 18.
I'm gonna be 22 on 28th of this month and I'm poor, the responsibilities on my shoulders is weighing me down. It's even more depressing looking back to see how I spent my teenage years.
Anyway, last time I shave, those bumps became a thorn in my flesh — it all started when I was made to use shaving stick in that prison. I applied methylated spirit on my beards and it really got very dark and kinda filled up.
So hey, let the challenge begin. So help me God... I will post an altered picture here. |

I'm not lazy.....I don't just have capital to go all in..... wittywriter: You need a Life-Coach...if you want valuable connects then you must first work on yourself to be valuable to such connects.
But in the meantime state what online ventures you've been involved in so far.
I usually laugh whenever peeps with skill(s) whether conventional or digital use capital as excuse in this era of massive internet awareness. It's either you are quack in regrds to the skill(s) you claim or you are plain lazy...@Nedom001 which category do you belong?

Marketing, buying and selling of goods. I can design and create a website, a standard one and also, i can trade crypto currencies too but it is lack of capital that made me not to be serious with it again wittywriter: You need a Life-Coach...if you want valuable connects then you must first work on yourself to be valuable to such connects.

I don't think so, I don't see myself as young again, maybe this is because of the mapped out goals that I'm yet to achieve, that I thought initially, that I would have achieved at this age. I graduated from the uni at the age of 21, served 23 and still looking for a good job till now. It sorts of breaks my heart. Last two months, I mapped out a goal to enter into any organization as an entry level employee and truthfully speaking, I have written almost 10 different assessment and I always get knocked out in the second or third stàge, it sorts of breaks my heart. A high achiever like me failing those assessment. As the first son of my mom, siblings are already expecting one or two from me and when I can't give it out, it sorts of gives sleepless night. I'm just been optimistic that this stage of my life will pass one day. Thanks BOSS. Adewale1603: You are still young, just 25. 25yrs old are still in 100level, 200level in schools. Don't be too hard on yourself. You just need to focus, you graduate early. Some people are just graduating at 29. |

I just joined this great forum and I have been asking myself this question.....how can I make the most, out of this great platform? I'm a graduate who is passionate about sales, business and any form of dealings that involves buying and selling, with high maximum of integrity to deliver on the job. I really want sincere advice from the gurus here on how to make the most, out of the great platform. How to connect with legit people and not scammers? How to business deals of any kind? How to make money too? And how to get a good opportunity to learn a skill?
I'm currently jobless, I have written like different banks graduate trainee assessment and at the end of the day, it is either I was knocked out in the second stage or it will be in the interview stage. Age is no longer on my side as I'm currently 25, graduated with a 2:1 in Zoology and Environmental Biology. My plan was to do masters but I don't have any good job to help me raise enough funds for application fees and passports to pursue my dreams. I seriously need advice from the experts who have experienced this kind of situation that I'm currently in right now, because it's driving me insane.
Life has been tough for me this last one year that I completed my Nysc. It all looks like that I am losing it at every attempt that I make to be successful. I seriously need help and advice, mentorship, even if it involves learning a new thing, as far as it will eñable me to grow financially and mentally. It will be welcomed |
