According to ReportGhNews, the Pastor (pictured) was preaching to his congregation on a Sunday morning then he ask people with health problems to stand up and come close to touch a specific place on his body for healing. While everyone was touching the Pastor’s head, shoes and shoulder; this woman, a bishop of same congregation decided to hold the pastor’s priv’ates for healing. The Pastor ask why she hold his priv’ates and the woman said, “her husband pen*s is not working anymore so she believes when she hold the Pastor’s pen*s, her husband’s would be healed.” Then the pastor shouted, hallelujah somebody. Can you blame the lady, wasn’t she obeying simple instruction?

The Presidency on Saturday said it was aware of a plot by former President Olusegun Obasanjo and some unnamed others within and outside the country to thwart the forthcoming general elections and foist an unconstitutional Interim National Government, which he hopes to head, on the nation. Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, said this in a statement made available to journalists in Abuja. Abati was reacting to an allegation by Obasanjo that President Goodluck Jonathan was planning to plunge the country into crisis if he loses the forthcoming general election. He said the Presidency found Obasanjo’s allegation odious and repugnant. He said the former President had repeatedly been impugning on Jonathan’s integrity for the purpose of self-promotion. The presidential spokesman said it was senseless, irrational and out of place for Obasanjo, who still claims to belong to the same party as the President, to accuse Jonathan of plotting to win the rescheduled presidential elections by “hook or crook” and planning to plunge the nation into crisis if he loses the election. He said contrary to Obasanjo’s claim, the President would continue to support the Independent National Electoral Commission and other relevant federal agencies to ensure that the rescheduled elections are successfully conducted. The statement read, “We find the false claims and allegations reportedly made against President Goodluck Jonathan by Chief Olusegun Obasanjo on Saturday in Abeokuta very odious and repugnant. “As we have had cause to say before, it is most regrettable indeed that a man like Chief Obasanjo, who should know better, chooses to repeatedly, wantonly, and maliciously impugn the integrity of a sitting President of his country for the primary purpose of self-promotion. “It is obvious from Chief Obasanjo’s serial vituperations against President Jonathan who is doing his best to positively transform Nigeria for the benefit of all of its people that he has willfully chosen to close his eyes to the present administration’s good works and intentions. For reasons best known to him, Chief Obasanjo has set his mind on regime change by fair or foul means. “Otherwise, it would be completely senseless, irrational and out of place for Chief Obasanjo, who still claims to belong to the same party as the President, to accuse President Jonathan of plotting to win the rescheduled presidential elections by “hook or crook” and planning to plunge the nation into crisis if he loses the election. http://www.punchng.com/news/obasanjo-working-towards-heading-interim-govt-presidency/ |
Following assurances by the Federal Government that it would battle the Boko Haram insurgency to a standstill in six weeks, the #BringBackOurGirls coalition on Saturday in Abuja launched a six-week countdown to the rescue of the 219 Chibok school girls in Boko Haram captivity and an end to terrorism in the country. The group said the launch date marked 10 months since the abduction of 276 Chibok girls from their school dormitory by the terrorist group. The BBOG spokesman, Rotimi Olawale, in a statement said the movement has, over the past months, sustained its advocacy, including daily sit-outs in Abuja and regular sit-outs in Lagos and Ibadan as well as several other protests held across the world. It noted that assurances by the FG that the girls would be rescued alive very soon and reports in the media that some of the girls were sighted as recent as November last year, offers a ray of hope that if urgent actions were taken, the girls would be rescued alive. The group insisted that it would continue to pursue its singular purpose of ensuring the safe returns of the chibok girls and all other abducted Nigerians by the deadly sect. According to the BBOG, the countdown will help them monitor the activities of the multinational forces toward the eradication of the insurgents and the rescue of the Chibok girls from their captors. http://www.punchng.com/news/bbog-launches-countdown-to-chibok-girls-rescue/ |

The Federal Government on Thursday raised the alarm that Islamic the insurgent group, Boko Haram, may have started recruiting and training fighters. Coordinator of the National Information Centre on the war against terrorism, Mr. Mike Omeri, raised the alarm at a press briefing in Abuja, citing intelligence reports. Omeri said, “In the general effort to contain acts of insurgency in the North East and secure the entire area for the forthcoming general elections, the centre wishes to alert the general public on very recent intelligence reports which indicated a considerable movement of Boko Haram recruits from such locations as Geidam, Mairi and Dupcha (all in Borno State) to training camps within the general area. “Previous major attacks by insurgents, including the siege on Bama and Monguno military bases, were preceded by such massing up of fighters in training camps within the proposed targets. “This recent development, which points in the same direction, has also been alluded to by the Boko Haram group in its recent boast about having a 30,000 – 50,000-strong force to disrupt elections in Maiduguri.” Omeri, however, said the Nigerian military forces have fully mobilised and deployed troops against the insurgents whom he claimed were being chased and roundly subdued. The NIC spokesman added, “Therefore, we urge the general public to exercise a high level of vigilance and also support the effort of the military to ensure hitch-free elections and a return to normalcy in the general area, soonest. “We also seize this opportunity to restate government’s commitment to keeping the country and her citizens safe from those who seek to destroy the nation.” Omeri urged the civil society, politicians and everybody to avoid disruptive and inciting statements and assured the general public of regular update on the successes scored by the military and security forces in the fight against terror in the North East. |
