Sad reality of life.

Clocking 29 this year.
Stayed on my own for almost 5 years on the island.
At the end of everything, realized i couldn't save anything because of exorbitant rent.

Dad has a house on the mainland. I decided to go back and I don't regret. I now earn x5 of what i used to earn on the island when i was paying rent.

This is Lagos. It's smart avoiding rent. This past year has been the best my life. I'm closer to my aging dad, made many memories, got many advice. Money can't buy this happiness. If you dey vex say i dey my papa house, wetin do your own? He didn't toil so hard for me to come and be paying rent with money i can use to set up my life.

I've been able to do a lot for myself and family. Thank God i didn't listen to every advice.
