Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, reacts to his victory in the Anambra State governorship election.

Professor Charles Soludo, who was governor of the central bank of Nigeria (CBN) between 2004 and 2009, was declared the winner by INEC after he won 19 of the 21 local governments areas including Ihiala LGA which was done yesterday.


While giving his acceptance speech on Wednesday morning, Soludo credited the results to the will of God.


In his words ;

“Let me say that with utmost humility and gratitude to God, I accept the result of the 2021 Anambra governorship election, as declared by INEC. And this reflects the supreme will of the Almighty God and the overwhelming sacred mandate of the people.”

”At this moment we must remember and must continue to remember all those who died during the course of this moment, especially the three policemen who were killed by unknown gunmen during our town hall meeting with youths in my ward. May God continue to grant their souls eternal rest”

Ex-Nigerian reality TV star, Lucy Edet has vowed to never again put her trust in humanity after it cost her N500k.

The former TV star said this on her insta story but she didn’t share what happened to her exactly, she however revealed that she was warned over and over again but her trust in humanity clouded her judgement and as such, made her lose half a million Naira.

Lagos State Police Officers Involved In Ghastly Motor Accident While Returning From Anambra.

Police officers attached to the Isolo police division in Lagos state were involved in a ghastly motor accident while returning from the Anambra state governorship election.

The accident which happened at Awka, the state capital, left some of the officers seriously injured.

Man Rapes Girl Who Told Him ‘ I Don’t Belong To Your Class’


A 21-year-old man who claimed to be a herbalist, Akintola Sangokunle and his colleague, Ismaila Raheem, have been paraded by the Osun State Police Command over alleged rape of a lady.

The two were said to have conspired together to rape the victim at her house around Kajola area of Osogbo, the Osun State capital.

Raheem, who is 22 years old was said to have sought the help of Sangokunle to help him carry out an attack on the lady who he claimed had been collecting money from him but refused to have a relationship with him.

It was gathered that the two suspects invaded the house of the victim, who was with her lover at the time and they allegedly threatened to kill them if they refused to cooperate with them.

They reportedly took the lady out of her room to where they took turns to rape her.

Raheem told journalists that the lady collected money from him but turned down his love advances.

He said, “ I admire the lady we raped. She lives in my neighbourhood and because of this I told her that I like her. She had collected money from me on some ocassions before she she told me that I don’t belong to her class. She said she was dating people of higher status than me.”

Sangokunle, who burst into tears while begging the police to pardon him said he only had sex with the lady for about three minutes.

He said, “I am a native doctor. I followed my colleague to rape the lady after he told me that she collected his money and refused to have a relationship with him. I only did one round for about three minutes.”

The Commissioner of Police in Osun State, Olawale Olokode, told newsmen that Raheem and Sangokunle are cultists who had been terrorising the Oke-Baale area of the state.

In recent time a young nigerian lady who was identified as Adunni Balogun has gone viral on social media after she shared her experience working as a Danfo driver in Lagos state, Nigeria.


According to the 24 year-old-lady, she became a commercial bus driver for survival but although many people do not believe she is actually a driver.

In an interview with BBC, She revealed that she makes about 5000 Naira daily driving the vehicle popularly known as ‘Danfo’.

When she was asked on how people react to seeing her work as a Danfo driver, she said that they always tell her that they suspect she is using that as a front for prostitution.

BbNaija star, Khloe and aphrodisiac seller, Jaruma's fight has taken a different turn as the reality show star is now placing curses on her.

Khloe had earlier told Jaruma to take her name off her mouth and go look for her doctor after she took to Instagram to praise the doctor that worked on the BBNaija star's bum for a job well done. She had also noted that Khloe never tagged her doctor and also asked plastic surgeons to contact her as many people have signified interest in going under the knife.
