Don't mind them jor. There's a reason he's the coach and not them. Reading a match is not about making hasty substitute decisions.

I understand the coach's approach of playing 3 central defenders. The problem is the personel playing the role. Omeruo is not good with the ball on its feet like the other 2 defenders. He is also slow to turn and generally slow to dash in short distance. And he reads his incerption wrongly. That was why we conceeded that goal. And he just put unnecessary pressure on the defense all thorugh. He was always struggling to contain the quick SA strikers.

The problem we have is Omeruo.....They should bring in a proper full back so that only Ekong and Balogun will be at the central defense. The full back will defend and blend with the midfield better.

This means our defense can easily be exposed. We don't always capitalize on our early goals instead we score and sit deep at the back bringing all sort of pressure from opposition. Gernot Rhor needs to change his tactics big time

Omeruo is making the team unsettled. He is too slow to turn. I don't now why they always play him in games like this.

I totally agree with you my bro. I wonder why they keep inviting this guy. Can you imagine, he played against Argentina with Messi in Russia and we actually expected to win.

He is good for teams like Croatia, Iceland or Cameroun. Teams that have strikers who are more physical with normal pace. But for teams who are fast and skillful he is always suspect.

Yeah.....It was the game I saw Onazi begun his decline. We used Iheanacho as a 9 and he was too easy for the SouthAfricans to deal with.
We will need a striker that will get in their faces.

A lot of things went wrong in that match including our mentality.

I think the best we can get out of today's match though, is a draw.

I hope Chukwueze plays today. The guy is a fine dribbler and a delight to watch. There was certain match for Villarreal B where he totally destroyed the defense of the opponents by going past 5-6 players. He did it better than Messi.

I just feel he is still too young.

Also I remember Simeon Nwankwo that made so much rave before being invited and couldn't make impact because of the physical nature of African football. I suspect this is also the case with Chukwueze.

It is going to be a tough game.....tougher than the Libya's game. I just pray for positive mentality from the boys especially when we are losing Ndidi in the midfield. We need Ogu to just boss that area and Etebo to keep it simple.

I totally blame the coach.....That subtitution came far too late. The same mistake we made against Argentina in the world cup.
